I know how to deal with this!

Prologue: The dead shall rise and all hell will sing

Levy pushed the two oak doors wide open, stumbling out of the entrance. Regaining her balance she shot forward like a bullet down the concrete path towards the front gate. Levy wanted to look back, but from the sound of the writhing flames consuming the sounds of the building collapsing their mustn't be much left.

With tears running down her face she forced herself to keep looking forward. Pushing herself to reach the gates as fast as she could.

Her eyes so full of tears, blinding her vision, she almost ran right into the gates themselves. She looked up at the towering gates. They were no higher then seven feet but through Levys eyes they seemed thirty. Purely because she know she had to open herself. A feet of strength she mite never posses... But she had no choice.

Bending down to reach the base of the gate, she begin to try and lift it up. Unlike normal gates that swing or slide open, Levys father had a love for the oddity's in life. Even if they were small and insignificant, leading to the arrival of the gate that opened upwards.

Berley five seconds in and her arms already killed from the strain. Another three seconds and she pulled back, breathing heavily.

A blood curdling roar ran through the night. Levys head shot towards the house. The once beautiful place that she called home was now completely consumed by the flames, not even the front door was visible.

Thou through all the flames and blinding light, levy could still see the silhouette of the monstrosity within them. Its hulking shape slowly moving out of the inferno.

Even from the distance between the two Levy could see its fanged smile, as well as its glowing red eyes.

A fresh wave of fear and adrenalin ran through her body. Levy turned back to the gate and tried to lift it once again. The muscles and vanes in her arms bulged through her arms from the amount of strain and effort.

The gate didn't move an inch.

Levy kept on pushing on thou, using as much strength as she could muster. Already she could hear the sounds of metal on stone as the monster made its approach.

A soft glow surrounded the gate, slowly beginning to open.

Levy didn't question the glow or why it was their. She was glad something good was happening for once tonight.

Slowly Levy lifted the gate half-way, a foot more and it will be over head. The sounds of the monsters foot steps grew closer encouraging her to push harder.

Just as Levy lifted the gate over her head, for a split second the gates original weight returned, and levy almost dropped it before it became light again.

The gate was half-way once again, and Levy could see the glow began to flicker. She has little time left. The light from its eyes already began to illuminate her and the gate.

Lifting the gate half-a-foot she ducked down it and tried to sneak under, the weight of the gate beginning to grow more and more.

Just one more step and she would be free.

A sharp pain ran through her leg, with the unmistakeable sound of bone braking. Levys feet were swept of the ground, she landing on her back with a heavy thud.

The glow disappeared and the gate dropped.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Levy screamed in ungodly pain, clenching her left arm.

Or wrather, the stump that used to be her left arm.

Turning her head sharply to the left, all Levy could see was blood and bone fragment's of what used to be her arm.

The gate had landed on the joint of the arm leaving half of her upper arm and her severed forearm remaining.

Levy watched as her severed arm clenched and unclenched before going limp.

Tearing her eyes from the morbid sight, Levy looked down to inspect her legs. Her left leg was fine, but her right leg was definitely broken.

Despite all the pain Levy forced her body to stand, a task both exhausting and default. She knew she couldn't sit here and wait, she needed to get to the town, get some help.

She finally got to her feet, breathing heavily, her eyes shut tight from the pain.

After some much needed breaths she could finally opened her eyes again.

Two red lights stared back at her.

Levy stared paralysed in fear at the monster, a new wave of fear came over her. Her flight or fight instinct took control. Levy turned and started limping down the path as fast as she could. The thing had yet to make a move, thou a sound similar to laughter came from the monstrosity.

Levy dared not look back, she couldn't let herself get distracted. She needed to get to the town.

She heard the sound of twisting metal, and the ground vibrate from whatever the monster was doing, but she knew it couldn't be good. The monster has finally gave chase.

This only prompted Levy to move faster in her panic, going as far as to put more pressure on her broken leg to gain speed, despite her bodies protests.

She could see the end of the path in the distance. Just half-kilometre or more and she'll have made to the main road, and from their she could get help from the houses close by.

A few more steps was all she got thou.

A wall of stone pillars teared through the ground barely two feet from impaling her.

Startled, Levy missed a step and fell forward, hitting her head against one of the pillars. Dazed, Levy attempted to stand, weakly using her only arm as a stand.

Levys head smashed onto the concrete, further dazing her. Levy felt her body lift off the ground and forcefully spun in a harsh 180. Two red lights stared into her eyes.

"MIIIIIINE."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA."

Dark clouds cluttered the sky, stretching as far as one could see. With no sing of dispersing. Thunder ran over head, and the wind blew with an unforgiving cold.

The land as well seemed just as depressing as the sky. While in most parts their were trees and lush greenery, it gave way to scorched earth and ash. Some of the ground seemed to have been levelled.

In the centre of this dead land a thirty foot iron wall stood strong, but if someone took the time to walk its length they would came to realize it wasn't just a straight line, but it curves around into a circle. Trapping something within.

The only way in or out were two large iron doors.

A slender being stood before the iron doors. The being Looked them up and down.

"What the hell are these for." She thought out loud. She sighed.

"I wasn't actually asking." She looked back up the iron doors. "Are you sure its here." She asked seemingly the air.

Her lips broke into an unsettling grin.

"Good."
