//------------------------------// // Toxic Love // Story: Not a Cloud In the Sky // by OutOfTheBlue //------------------------------// Cloud's heart sank, "Not the banquet! I forgot all about that stupid banquette!" Cloud internally gripped. The Hearts and Hooves banquet was a yearly annoyance. All the stupid drama and boring speeches. It was the worst. Pandora looked confused momentarily, "Cloud? You look like someone just told you you have jury duty, what's wrong?" Pandora asked. Cloud just sighed and slumped onto the couch. "I just really hate that banquet... I feel so... wait a minute! I'm taking you this year! Hell yeah this is gonna rock! We'll go, make the other guards feel inferior, eat way to much free food and then make out in the bathroom when we get bored! Now I'm excit-GYAH!" With a cry Cloud's back spasmed and he cried out in pain. Pandora rushed over, "Cloud are you ok?" Cloud groaned through the pain, "I dunno, my muscles feel like they're on fire." After he said that, Pandora got a thoughtful look. She brightened up as an idea struck her. She quietly produced a large glob if resin and popped it into her mouth. She chewed it slowly so as to make sure it would not harden and to mix it with venom, to act as a muscle relaxant. Cloud started at the strange sensation of something warm and sticky getting rubbed into his back before his muscles started tingling and loosening. He sighed as the pain melted away, feeling Pandora's hooves slowly rub up and down his back. "Oh... wow that feels good. What did I do to deserve you Pandora, smart, sexy, and adorable, damn." He quietly mumbled. Pandora giggled before saying, "Just a sec, I think I have something that can help." Before darting off. Cloud sighed at the warmth radiating onto his back. A glob of the green substance rolled onto his chest and he caught it on his hoof. A sweet smell assulted his senses. His rational side said not to, but morbid curiosity drove him on, and he popped the glob into his mouth. "Wow, I'm kinda an idiot... damn, that stuff tastes good!" He moaned through his mouthful. The... resin? Whatever it was, tasted sweet yet tart, and was chewy like taffy or some sort of candy. A dry, tart aftertaste came after. After a few moments he was hit by a wave of cravings. He felt like... sorta like he wanted to go destroy ponies lives, but mainly he wanted to marry Pandora, go on a honeymoon and then make love until they both died. His eyes stared getting watery. "I wish she was here right now." He sobbed. Pandora walked back in, carrying a pillow and a bottle of soda. She was assulted by Cloud dragging her onto the couch with him as he buried his head in her neck. "Um... Cloud? What's wrong?" She asked, ears flattening slightly. Cloud sobbed before shakily saying. "I'm so sorry, I'm sorry made out with Stephen over two years ago-o-oh. I love you so much more than him, can we have sex please? You're so sexy and I love you and I wanna wrap myself around your perfect body and kiss you and hug you and-" Cloud's sobbing was stopped by Pandora forcing his mouth open. She gasped upon seeing the green stain on his tongue. The venom! "Oh my gosh! Cloud I'm so sorry but, this isn't you, so... I'm doing you a favor before you doing something you would regret." She gently said before kissing him on the nose. If he stayed conscious for the remainder of the venoms effects he would become little more than a mindless beast. She gently sunk her fangs into his shoulder. He jolted, the pain granting him a moment of clarity and she could see gratitude in his eyes before he yawned and slumped against her chest. She levitated him into their bed before quietly removing the remaining resin. She laughed quietly, "Why on earth would you just randomly eat this stuff?" Before singhing. She curled up next him and looked him over. He looked fine except for his disheveled wings. "I know how to make it up to him." She thought before settling onto his back. She stroked his mane gently, as awkward as his prior statements were, she was kind of flattered he thought that much about her. With a smile she got to work.
