Discord uses his magic very hard to find the memories of the aura's possessor. He then stops completely exhausted.
“Well, have you found them?”, Starlight asks.
“It's no use. I've tried every spell I can, but I can't find them anywhere.”, Discord says.
“That's impossible.”, Cadance says.
“Not even Discord can find the memories. So what are we gonna do?”, Fluttershy asks.
All of the patrons murmur in concern and panic. All of a sudden, Celestia then feels pain again and Luna follows.
“Princesses, what's wrong?”, Spike asks.
“The aura it's being used.”, Celestia says.
“Oh, no.”, Twilight says. “We better prepare ourselves.”
“Wait.”, Luna says. “This aura is being used in...another world.”
“Another world?”, the group asks.
“Are you talking about the Canterlot High world?”, Spike asks.
“No, Spike. It's a completely different world.”, Luna says.
“What other world could it be used in?”, asks Rainbow Dash.
Martha and the other pets go through the course narrowly missing the dangerous obstacles. All of their owners cheer for the pets.
“Come on, Martha and Skits.”, Helen shouts. “You can do it.”
Martha pushes her limits and runs as fast as her legs can take. She then jumps and lands on the finish line. The clock buzzes and she stands up. She then cheers wildly.
“We did it. We beat the monster.”, she cheers.
“Ah, ah, ah.”, the monster says.
“Huh?”, the dog notices.
“Look at your time.”. he says as he points up.
She then squints her eyes.
“Uh, I can't read the time. I'm a dog.”
“You managed to cross the course in only 3 minutes and 17 seconds.”, the monster points out.
Her eyes widen and she looks at the clock again. The clock indeed shows the time the emperor says next to the emperor's record.
“Oh, no.”, the dog says.
The other pets are in disbelief and the audience as well.
“They...they lost.”, Helen says.
“As the victor of the obstacle course, I now claim my prize...your pets.”, the monster says as he summons a few monster shadows.
The shadows pounce and captures a schnauzer, a dalmatian and a collie.
“Bob, John, Carlo!”, Martha shouts.
“What are you gonna do with those pets?”, Carolina shouts.
“I will control their minds and use them to coax those colorful brutes into coming to my lair.”, the emperor says. “That way, I'll extract their beauty and turn them into hideous monsters like myself. Making me worshiped once again.”
He then summons hundreds of shadows.
“You can't do that.”, shouts Helen. “Animal slavery is an abomination.”
“Do not attempt to stop me.”, the monster says as his eyes glow.
Helen gets levitated and flies back hitting T.D.
“All these animals belong to me now.”
All of the shadows then charge. The audience than cowers in fear.
“Run!”, Helen shouts.
All of the citizens and the animals run in terror. Jeffy blows his trunk and the shadows capture him.
“Jeffy!”, the zookeeper shouts.
Some other animals get captured as well. Some other pets and animals get captured by the shadows. The shadows bring the captured pets and animals to the emperor. Martha's family starts fleeing and are cornered.
“Hey, I know.”, Helen's dad says.
“What is it, Dad?”, Helen asks.
“Everyone, surround the animals and lock into each other!”
The audience takes his advice and lock themselves around the animals.
“Oh, I get it.”, Martha says. “With you guys locked together, those shadows won't go through you.”
The shadows try to break the locks but are ineffective.
“Take that, monster!”, Truman says.
“It is no use.”, Keretomatus says.
Suddenly, Keretomatus's sons arrive and uses magic to levitate the groups.
“Hey!”, Helen's mother says.
The shadows capture Martha's family.
“Mom!”, Martha shouts.
The levitated people are then dropped.
“It is futile to try and escape my power”, the emperor says.
“Wait. Doesn't 'futile' mean useless?”, Martha asks.
“Yes.”, Alice says. “But, now's not the time for vocabulary lessons.”
“Forget surrounding the pets. Carry them away.”, Ronald shouts.
Nelson then gets captured.
“Nelson!”, Alice shouts.
Suddenly a shadow takes Polly.
“Hey, give back Polly!”, Ronald shouts.
Everyone and their remaining pets then get into their vehicles and drive away.
“After them!”, the monster commands.
The shadows then chase the vehicles and possess them. The vehicles become controled and throw the people and the pets out. Martha and Skits fall out of the car.
“Skits, are you OK?”, Martha asks.
Skits barks.
Hooves then land in front of the two dogs. They look up and see it's Keretomatus standing in front of them.
“You're mine.”, Keretomatus says.
Zecora uses a cauldron to find out where the other world is.
“Come on, Zecora. Hurry up”, Rainbow says impatiently.
“She's working as fast as she can, Rainbow. Don't pressure her.”, Twilight shouts.
“If this doesn't reveal where this unknown world is, nothing will.”, Celestia says.
A few seconds later something appears in the cauldron. Zecora waves to Twilight to show her what's in the cauldron. Twilight enters and watches the cauldron.
“Guys.”, she calls out. “You're gonna wanna see this.”
