With RRBB occupied, it falls upon me to bring you this. And yes there's a Megan figurine as well. (The figurine isn't anything special. Mine is much better! I'll be sharing a pic as soon as I get the fingers right. They are a nightmare!)
As one who's put Mistmount Chronicles on pause until I read the original Midnight Castle, I feel terribly spoilered. "Realm's guardian"?! "Revealed by Luna?!" Somepony who has read the books, please tell me if those things happened! And please no further spoilers (I'm looking at you, PrinceEric ;)).
Also, Megan is such a geek! :) Having LAAG as a hobby? Lol! I guess I'm cool as well now :P
Another interesting thing is the mention of the shatterstone. With the next scroll expected tomorrow, I guess I know which group it will focus on.

I actually hate myself right now! This series is getting better and better. Not gonna lie, I thought it'll be just another money grab, but wow do they link things. Granted this is just the second scroll. We already have one of the mysterious gems explained (to a degree) as well as a clear indication there'll be more reality shattering. (I wonder if Megan will split her brother in three while experimenting with the stone. That would be fun :))
@PaintDrop: something you missed: it's mentioned that Megan has a deity as well as powers. And going back to your question, there's nothing actually revealed on the matter. There are a few scenes with her talking with Luna about some secret, but it was never mentioned. CodeFilly used to theorize about it a lot. Interesting way to get us ready for things to come.
The huge problem with the old series (not talking about the originals) was that there was only a broad connection between stories. We have Danny and Co. fight titanspawn, then next chapter they are dealing with Felina agents testing hazardous magic. This seems to be well thought out.
Oh, and I think my sis got the MC bug :)

Actually, there had been plans to include the actual scene of the conversation between Megan and Luna as early as volume 5. For one reason or another it never happened. If you go through the fourth chapter of volume 3 you'll see that Luna addresses Megan as "seven times blessed". That was supposed to be linked to her being chosen, not a funny way of greeting her.
I can promise you, though, you haven't seen anything yet ;)

Mind blown! :))) On so many levels! I get to talk with a Wonderbolts and a Princess in this place! Also, MCE is out of this world! At times I think S.Child is actually a human, who writes this in the human world, then sends it to S&S by magic portal!
Three Dannys? Three? And yet one? Can't wait to read and analyze this!
Also one of my friends told me something big is going to happen in a month. She was very vague about it, but I have ways to get her to share :D

@MixaMax: I remember those theories. And now we see that CodeFilly was actually right! :) And, I agree that the way they are linking everything together is working quite well so far. If this keeps up we might have something to take the crown from Daring Do (doubtful, but a mare can dream.)

@PaintDrop, @MixaMax: I find it interesting that Megan would be the second of the grand nine to get her spoilers out. It was clear that Danny would be first, possibly followed by Blazen or Eric (at least that was my theory).
On the surface it doesn't look like a big deal, but I believe this is S&S trying to tell us something. Note that Megan is very different to the original core demographic: she is a girl in her late teens and early twenties, and older than the six heroes. If you ask me this is a clear indication that S&S want to include the female audience (at least in sort). This is no longer a colt's series, it's a series mares could read to their foals. I wouldn't be surprised if we also see an increase in romantic chapters, and not only between Molly and Bellucio.

@DarkSparkle: sister, you seriously over analyze things. MC has always been an inbetween series. Even in the original there was a strong female presence. The idea of an older sister isn't new, so stop trying to turn Midnight Castle into a bucking Daring Do copy!
