"Alright those hair tentacles are taking over half of Metropolis City and we need a plan to knock them out of commission before we get to Maniac," Spike began, showing areas of the city where the hairs have taken over.
Everyone looked on in horror.
"I'm thinking that maybe if I can create a big enough shock it should cause a shrinking reaction," Dash said.
"That just might work but we'd better move fast because time is running out," Spike said grabbing his staff.
Dash flew upward to get a good outlook of the city and could see almost half was covered in green hair.
Alright I have to do this right...one slip up and Metropolis is done for Dash thought flying upward and placing a electric shield around herself in case she was under attack.
Her eyes turned pure white as a storm cloud was approaching making rumbling noises in the process. Down below Maniac noticed a dark cloud coming this way and commanded her hair tentacles to kill Rainbow Dash.
Masked Matterhorn cut them down with a purple and light blue sword defending her friend. "You keep this shock going and we'll keep you alive," Twilight said.
Dash nodded as her hands began to spark with electricity.
Another group of tentacles attacked but Pinkie tied them together as Applejack stomped on them hard. Rarity made giant scissors appear and cut the hair down to size but was wrapped in Maniac's hair with no chance of escaping as she squeezed tightly. Rarity could feel air leaving her but Pinkie rushed speared Maniac to release the grip she had on Radiance.
"You fools! I have waited so long for my revenge and you aren't going to deter me of that!" Maniac proclaimed monkey flipping Pinkie into a nearby building.
"Hrag!" Twilight yelled cutting another tentacle with her sword.
Come on Dash we could really use that shock
Looking up, Applejack could see a mammoth size electric shocker ball. "MOVE!" Applejack shouted.
Everyone moved out of the way so Dash can throw the ball down.
When it hit the ground all the hair tentacles began to frizzle up from the shock then shrunk down until there was nothing left.
"NO! My precious tentacles!" Maniac screamed picking up loose hair.
The Power Heroes surrounded her readying their weapons/powers in case she tried to escape.
Maniac put up her hands in surrender as police arrived and cuffed her and put her hair in a secure lock to keep it from going all crazy. Once she was in the police cruiser Dash's eyes changed back to normal.
"It's going to take a while for us to clean this city up but let's give them a hand," Twilight suggested.
A few minutes later Metropolis City was back in business as usual.
"And in another story the mysterious Power People stopped another hair raising attack from The Maniac and the citizens of Metropolis City are grateful for these heroes wherever they might be."
Shy smiled along with the others that they worked together as a cohesive unit to stop Maniac's scheme for revenge.
Kate pressed a button to contact her boss.
"Kate my dear I am glad you called...your time is growing near for those heroes to be eliminated," he said.
"Of course master I assure you once we reveal Celestia's true intentions Twilight will no longer trust her," Kate explained.
"Good my young apprentice I hope you will keep me posted," he said hoping Kate will do so.
"Yes master," Kate replied obedient to her master.
He faded away as Kate picked up a figurine of Celestia and crushed it in between her fingertips then left.
