Let's see.....where did I leave off.....oh yes.
As we walk deeper within the dangerous area of the cave my arm glows again which prompts me to finally call out to my second mind after I told my “friends” to continue on without me for now.
“Alright Ruby you’ve been restless ever since we went inside this cave mind telling me what’s up?”
“Remember the deal you made with me that you would help me get back at the other half of you?” he says as he takes shape in front of me and I respond almost immediately “Vaguely i’m weak in the memory area, but yes although you never completely explained who this other half was.”
“I didn’t bother explaining it at the time because it wouldn’t make much sense seeing as your other half isn’t from “this” world and neither are you lad.” Ruby states which makes my eyes go wide and I quickly disagree “What do you mean i’m not from here I spent my whole life here so I’m pretty sure that Earth is my “home”?!”
“Well we did hear him say you might have forgotten everything after getting banished here all those years ago.....” Ruby says something that peaked my curiosity to untamable levels “FORGET?! FORGET WHAT AND HOW DO YOU KNOW MY OTHER HALF SAID THIS?”
“Now calm down there Baron I know what he said as me and some others worked for him as generals as we held the power that opposed that of something that was used against him by someone who was against his ways, but his name......it escapes me greatly after he cursed me...” Ruby said sounding depressed as he finished his sentence leaving me to speak and say “Unbelieveable so i’m not from here then....so then where am I really from?”
Ruby looks up then shakes his head and lifts his arms in an “I don’t know” manner which forces me to say “So you can’t even remember the name of the land,your old master, or your comrades?”
“Again he cursed me with a spell that made my spirit split apart from my body and it took my memories so long as I was away from my body and then he banished me away and the only way I could return is if I was with him in this world.....or at least a part of him....which is where you come in at least that is all I can remember about that moment” He says with his enthusiasm returning.
“And you think i’ll agree to come with you to this world?!” I say still processing what he just left me with.
“Well I figured yes since we’re in the cave I arrived in when I first came to this world you would take me back through here as it has the strongest energy source linking me to our other world.” he says which puts a grim look on my face “So you came from this area then........i’m not so sure with “him” hiding around here and my friends also with me at the moment....what will I actually do...with them if I were to just leave them to go with you....I just don’t know Ruby.”
“You have some time but i’ll take you with me after we deal with you other problem here then.” Ruby says as he disappears back into my body.
“Hard to believe it was four years since that day....of course my bludgeon was about a third the size my arm now its about the same size as me and has finally stopped growing since then.” I say slightly remembering how long it’s been since I first made the deal with Ruby and wondering why he has tolerated me long enough to keep me alive up until now.
Ruby seemed intent on getting me to the other world so he had agreed not to leave until I tie the loose edges so I just went with it knowing there was no changing my deal with him otherwise he would’ve possibly ended me there and now.
“Alright then lets carry on with the time I have left here then.” I say as i run to catch up with Locke and the others.
As we make our way back to the others I see them frozen as statues and ask “Guys are you alright?” but they just point towards a group of five men three of which had guns and the other two were fighting with their bare fists but soon after a sixth man appeared who wielded a sword with two guns at his sides along with a dagger and he was clearly leading the other five.
“Damn I knew we would eventually end up in his way but not this soon!” I said angered by the presence of these men.
“My my you are quite the sneaky one now aren’t you.....when I heard that you would be inspecting this little unstable area I just had to get a headstart so we wouldn’t miss such a great encounter.” the leader says as a smile creeps its way on his face “And I see you have more toys for me to play with.....I was getting bored of hunting you while you were alone as it just ….killed the fun of finding you everywhere you went....”
“Baron?.....who is this man and how does he know you?!” Wish says as she turns to me only to have the man speak up again “Ah I see you got yourself a name how wonderful, but you didn’t tell them mine......now that hurts.....after all we were such great friends.....anyway i’ll answer that question for you my sweet....my name is knytt…yes say it with me now everybody KNIGHT....and to how I know “Baron” is that he and I used to be something similar to partner in arms.....” Knytt says finishing his sentence.
“YOU’RE LYING BARON WITH NEVER WORK WITH A CREEP LIKE YOU EVEN IF HE NEEDED A FRIEND AT THE TIME!” Wish shouted at Knytt only for him to laugh “Ha that’s a good one my little sweet its true Baron didn’t want friends at the time but he still followed me and diligently at that not because he wanted friends....it’s because he would never say no to family.....”
“Family......Baron what does he mean by that?!” Locke says disbelieving what Knytt had just said which made me sigh as I knew there were no more secrets here “Locke....meet your older brother.....and my twin brother Knytt Hart.....”
“There now was that so hard my dear twin....” Knytt says tormenting me and Locke
“W-what....I have another brother....why didn’t you ever tell me sooner?!” Locke says screaming at me “Would you want to know that you were related to this monster.” I say at Locke
“Regardless you knew that there was still some family left that wasn’t killed and you never told me?! Locke says even more furious now then ever “Because he is the cause of our broken family...” I say hoping his anger towards me would cease.
“Thats a lie my dear twin and you know it!” Knytt says as he responds angrily towards my last sentence only to have Locke cut in “My brother never lies about a cold blooded killer!”
“Veh....fine believe whatever you want, but i’m not leaving until I make your heads a part of my mantel so.....ATTACK THEM NOW!” Knytt finishes his sentence only to have the three men with guns fire at us.
I quickly pull out my bludgeon and guard against all the incoming bullets and Locke dodges most of the bullets then with Pierce in his left hand and Skye in his right he starts blocking the rest with his guns just as I am with my weapon, and as we stay here attempting to survive the spray of bullets Knytt quickly goes over to Reese and Wish and asks “So mind telling me who you two are?” and Reese responds quickly by saying “I am Reese Nitro and this is my younger sister Wish Nitro now what do you want from us!” Reese says wondering what Knytt wants “Nitro’s children eh.....tell me do you two want to work with me?
“DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE WE WOULD JOIN YOU ….AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN NITRO’S CHILDREN?!” Wish says screaming at Knytt causing him just to roll his eye “Well I was certainly sure the children of Professor Felix Nitro would happily want to join their last remaining parent in the occupation he is currently taking.
“W-what do you mean by that....?” Reese and Wish both say in unison processing the last sentence that was said by Knytt “Oh professor mind coming in here for a moment....i’m having a bit of trouble recruiting new members...”
As Knytt finished his sentence another man showed up and he was clearly older than Knytt and his group of soldiers “Alright Mr. Hart just show me to them and i’ll.......kids?” he finished his sentence abruptly after seeing his children standing in front of him only to have his son speak up “Father....you work for this monster...why?”
“Mr. Hart is no monster....if anything the man over there is the actual monster!” he says pointing to me as soon as he finishes speaking “Now please....stop helping him and join us and we will get rid of that plague.....”
“What do you say you two.....join me and help me dispose of that freak you’ve been helping, or say no and i’ll add you to my list of who I want to kill!” Knytt says to Reese and Wish in hopes to make them join him.
“Father....Baron is no monster....what has he done to confuse you.....Baron is my best friend....”This is all Reese manages to say at the moment and Wish follows with “Dad you know Baron isn’t a monster.....you even helped him there were his own family couldn’t....”
“My eyes were opened to the truth by his brother who told me things that made me regret having that vile thing living with us now please what is your answer to Mr. Hart’s request?” The Professor says awaiting an answer from his children only to be followed by a unison “NO WE WON’T JOIN HIM”
“Excellent now.....wait what?” The Professor stutters as he takes in their answer “B-but Mr. Hart will....”
“Hmph how foolish of you two......seize these them as I now want their heads on my mantle as well!” Knytt shouts as the other two of the men now walk towards Reese and Wish
“LEAVE THEM OUT OF THIS” I shout at Knytt while still avoiding fire “Ruby i’ll need your assistance here!”
“FINALLY I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER GET TO HEAR THE SOUND OF SOMEONE CRYING IN PAIN EVER AGAIN.....HAHAHA!” Ruby states as my arm glows deep red then ignites on fire and soon my mind and Ruby’s become linked into one.
….....Back to this mysterious “other” world
A scream was heard in the interior of the castle only to be answered by a dozen knights and a worried sister.
“Sister are you alright!” Luna asks her sister in fear hoping nothing had happened to her
“Yes i’m fine Luna....I just sensed that odd presence of power grow wild.....it is from a different world, but it feels so close.....this being will be arriving soon to our world soon....very soon....” Celestia says to her sister only bringing a worried expression to her face “And what shall we do when this being enters Equestria sister?”
“I don’t know what this one is capable of.....or what it will be when it shows up....but for the safety of my people I can only hope that it will be non-hostile..” As she says this Luna responds almost immediately “If not im sure we can handle it and imprison it just like its other half here....at least I hope we can...”
….....Back to Earth
I jump into the air then forcefully slam down with my bludgeon crushing one of the guards with it then I lift it up and swing back and hit another one with it then I rush off to aide Reese and Wish
“STOP PICKING ON THE DEFENSELESS YOU PILES OF SCUM” Me and Ruby shout in unison as we lunge towards the two guards harassing Reese and Wish.
Locke handles the gunman who was shooting at him with ease then sees that the two I didn’t finish of are about to shoot me from behind but effectively stops them both with a bullet to the head “HEY BARON MIND MAKING SURE THESE GUYS ARE DEAD BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY LUNGE COMPLETELY UNAWARE TOWARDS SOMETHING ELSE!” he shouts annoyed for me not knowing this.
Locke engages the guard tormenting Reese in combat while I get the one that was tormenting Wish, but that one I was fighting jumps back and grabs the gun of one of his fallen comrades now he was armed but he was still retreating backwards shooting all the way.
“COME AND FIGHT LIKE AN ACTUAL GUARD YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A MAN!” Me and Ruby say again in unison.
I soon do three swings with my weapon each propelling me forward while deflecting the spray of bullets launched at me and soon I make contact with the coward, but remembering what Locke said I forcefully swing my bludgeon down causing him to explode like a balloon of blood, but as I stand up I see Knytt with a weird looking gun pointed towards me “This little device was made by The Professor specifically for ridding the world of you it is call the non cardiac crusher it was made for deteriorating the blood inside a body or anything that uses it but only if it’s blood that doesn’t normally cycle through the heart.....something you don’t have now do you~!
As he prepares to fire I just stare at my inevitable doom only to be saved by Wish who throws a rock Knytts head disorienting him causing the shot to hit the cave ceiling forcing the cave to shake violently and cause rocks to fall one of which crushes the guard Locke was still fighting.
“Well that was lucky....now let’s see if I still have some of that luck...” Locke states as he aims for Knytts hand.
Locke fires and hits Knytt right in the hand causing him to drop it and as he goes to retrieve it a rock falls and crushes it angering Knytt greatly forcing him to look towards Wish and Reese.
“I tried to be nice and offer you a job but now you’ve gone and made me angry....a mistake you will take towards your grave. Knytt says as he pulls out a gun aim towards Wish and fires.
Reese quickly stands in front of Wish hoping to intercept the shots only to be blocked by his father who dives in front of both of them taking the incoming shots as he falls he knows he will die soon and he looks toward his children who see their dying father with horrified expressions with only Reese able to speak “Father don’t die ….please don’t die......”
Professor Felix Nitro was a great man who was thought of as a crazy scientist for the things he created or chose to create yet he didn’t care for the publicity he gained as an infamous inventor....no the only things on his mind were his children...even after his wife died.....he was even kind enough to let me live on with him for a good 3 years until he mysteriously disappeared one day....his children feared the worst, but all the while he was very much alive and was told..”things” by the corrupt mind of Knytt Hart and after their encounter he started working for him inventing things for him till his hearts content until he could find me to test his new toy which could destroy me in one hit, but after seeing that I was still with his children he couldn’t and even less after he saw me save them after the guards of the man he worked for attempted to kill them...and after he saw his boss attempt to kill them himself all that went in his mind was to keep them alive and so he would do that until his final breath which came sooner than he expected.
“I’m sorry for…....everything.....please....run away....” After saying this The Professor falls as a lifeless body and as soon as his body fell Wish screamed “FATHER NO NOT YOU TO NO STAND UP PLEASE DON’T DIE ON US NOW?!”
“Tsk.....there goes a great inventor who created the impossible and the improbable....veh he can be replaced in a heartbeat so it doesn’t really matter~.” Knytt says causing my anger to reach untamable levels “KNYTT I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD AND MOUNT IT ON A POLE?!” this time is was just me talking Ruby seems to have been ejected after I saw what Knytt had done and as I run towards Knytt he draws his sword and waits to clash weapons with me.
“COME NOW MY PATHETIC TWIN I’M SURE THIS WILL BE AN EXCITING BATTLE AND I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE YOU ONE OF US WILL NOT BE LEAVING THIS CAVE!” He says smug as ever and as we near our encounter I shout “I’LL REASSURE YOU THAT THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL SEE ANYTHING GO YOUR WAY AND YOU CAN COUNT ON THAT!”
As I now see Knytt standing right in front of me I grab ahold of my bludgeon and swing it towards Knytt who does the same with his sword and the sound of the metal clashing echoes throughout the whole cave.
