Sunset sat by the pony statue at the front of the school with her magical book in her hand, writing a message to Princess Twilight.

'Dear Princess Twilight,

I just thought I'd share our newest adventure with you, I hope you are having a good time in Equestria. We have had an amazing adventure and met some new friends. They have decided to try and return to their universe so one of our new friends, Doctor Fate, is helping them get back.....'

"Hey Sunset," Twilight called, "it's about to start."

Sunset put her book back into her backpack and joined the others to watch Rainbow Dash and Jay Garrick race each other.

"Your ready to win....second place?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"See if you can match my pace," Jay replied, "then we'll see who comes in second."

"Ready," Twilight said.

Both Jay and Rainbow Dash took their positions.

"Set," Twilight said.

The two took their marks.

"Go!" Twilight cried.

Both Jay and Rainbow Dash rocketed off, after a few minutes they reappeared.

"You done good kid," Jay smiled, "your done good."

"Yeah thanks," Rainbow Dash replied, "But for the record I was close to beating you."

They then noticed Applejack arm wrestling with Citizen Steel, in his steel form, "I'm not gonna give," Nate said, through gritted teeth, trying to push AJ's arm down.

"Me neither," Applejack replied, also through gritted teeth.

"Who ever wins takes on Power Girl," Nate added.

"This is the most daring dare anybody ever dared dare another person to dare!" commented Pinkie.

"What?" Nate asked.

"It's exciting!" Pinkie replied.

Applejack pushed harder and Nate's arm began to lean towards AJ's side of the table.

Nate tried to keep his arm from touching the table, but eventually his strength was drained.

"Power Girl, you're up" Nate said.

"Ah, don't feel bad, Nate. It's all in good fun," Applejack replied.

Power Girl stepped up, her costume had been redesigned by Rarity and featured a diamond with a capital P in the middle.

"May the best girl win," Applejack said.

"I intend to," Power Girl replied.

"It is time for you to make your farewells and go," Doctor Fate interrupted, as he opened a portal.

"Time for us to leave," Hal said.

"Darn, and I was just starting to like it here," Guy groaned.

"Our friends back home need us," Simon reminded Guy

"What about Sinestro, Atrocitus, Dex-starr and Larfleeze?" Jessica asked.

"I have ensured that they have been put under lock and key," Doctor Fate replied.

"What about our rings?" Fluttershy asked, "Don't you need them?"

"They're in good hands," Saint Walker said, he and other lanterns handed their lanterns to the girls.

"Good luck, Rainboom lanterns," Indigo-1 finished, as she and the other lanterns stepped through the portal.

Hal was last to go, "What happens now?" Sunset asked.

"You are the protector of white light," Hal replied, "use it to bring light to the darkest places."

With that he turned and walked through the portal, as the girls looked on.

"I'm not saying you're unworthy, Twilight" Applejack said, "I'm just surprised that none of the rings picked you."

"I don't know what I would do with a red ring or an orange one," Twilight replied.

"Definitely not a yellow ring," Pinkie Pie added, "you wouldn't scare anyone, apart from Midnight Sparkle she is scary."

"You might look good in violet," Fluttershy commented.

"I think I might know," Sunset said, after some thinking, "maybe Twilight's nature cannot be summed up by only one colour."

"That's kind of you to say," Twilight smiled.

"I just mean that summarising your nature by a single colour is impossible to do," Sunset replied.
