"You know my dear, as much as I love your kind personality, I find your assertive one EXTREMELY attractive,"  said a voice behind her

Fluttershy's eyes went back to normal, except they were starry as saw Discord, standing up, he had his magic back

"DISCORD!!!" she said as she flew towards him, she took him in an embrace, which he lovingly accepted,

"HOLD IT,... you have some questions you need to answer" said Pinkie

"Fine, what's your question?"

"Why do you hate Eris so much?"

"Well, back when we were kids, Eris and I really close, until one day, Dad took me into his room, and he told me that,.......I was his favorite, Eris watched the whole thing, she was heart broken, so after mom and dad Died, she kept trying to get rid of me, and everything I loved, until I banished her into Tartarus, she's been held there for a thousand years, until today, but thanks to Fluttershy, she's back for good

"So where was she hiding all this time?"

"I don't know,..but she won't be coming back so it's not important" he looked down at Fluttershy who smiled back at him.

"Ummm,.....HEY girls, do you remember that THING?" asked Rarity

"What thing?" asked Pinkie

"You know,...THE THING"

"OHHHHH, that thing," said Pinkie following Rarity out the door of the throne room

"Right, I REALLY need to study it," said Twilight following pinkie

"Yeah, it REALLY reminds meh of apples," said Applejack following Twilight

to the others surprise, Rainbow said"Oh YEAH, that THING is really awesome" as she followed Applejack out the door, which she closed behind her

Fluttershy looked at Discord, she slowly flew up to him, and kissed him on the cheek, at this Discord's eyes widened, he turned red as a phoenix, Fluttershy, misreading this, pulled away

"I,...I-I'm really sorry, I just,...I-I just" she sighed and turned a bright red "I need to tell you something

"W-When I thought you betrayed me,....I wanted to be mad at you at the time, but,....I just couldn't,...th-the day we met,  you were intimidating" she pawed the ground nervously,  "B-but as I got to know you,....I found the sweet side of you, you were so thoughtful, and caring, and considerate, and kind,...you always made me laugh,.....I loved being friends with you,...until I realized I wanted to be more than just a friend in your eyes, but I thought that you wouldn't want a pony as plain as me, and I thought about what my friends would think, so.....I kept quiet about it, I'm going, to be honest, that was the real reason I gave you a kiss on our date, and I will admit, though your not the most handsome creature I've ever seen,.....I-I,...I grew fond of your eyes, I thought they were oh so pretty, they reminded me of the sunset.Whenever I wasn't with you,...I missed you,....even if it was just for a day,....I wasn't afraid to be myself around you,...I didn't know for sure if it was because of you, but when you kissed me on the cheek that is, I realized I felt this way because,......."

she looked him in the eyes, "I love you"

Discord was shocked, she,.....she loved him? this had to be a dream, he pinched himself  in the back, but nothing changed, she loved him, she truly loved him, these words had too much honesty to not believe her, she loved him, she loved HIM, he was a hideous creature, but she loved him, he was a thousand years old but she loved him, he was a different species, but she loved him.


Discord slowly got down on his knees, he slowly and gently grabbed her and pulled her close, he looked at her, she was crying, he used his paw to wipe the tears away from her beautiful eyes while he ran his claw softly through her mane, it was softer than he could ever have imagined, along with her coat, he then placed his hands on either side of her face, he then leaned forward and softly but passionately kissed her

Fluttershy's eyes widened, but it didn't take her too long to relax and kiss him back, Discord eventually pulled away and said

"Believe it or not, I love you too" he then kissed her again, Fluttershy kissed him back again, it was strange, when they first met, Fluttershy had wondered "Is he a monster?" she couldn't have ever been more wrong.
