"Okay, so you all remember the plan right?" asked Rainbow Dash
"You've only gone over it with us a million times Rainbow" sighed Twilight
"Why are we doing this again?" asked Pinkie
"BECAUSE, Pinkie, Fluttershy's been going into the woods for a week now, and I wanna know what's going on" stated Rainbow with an angry look.
"Well it wouldn't hurt nothin' ta tell us why ya need us," said Applejack
"BECAUSE if Fluttershy is be being blackmailed by somepony dangerous, I need you guys for back-up"
"And you're not capable of handling it yourself?" asked Spike
Rainbow scoffed "Course' I am, but You guys are like my sidekicks"
the others rolled their eyes, INCLUDING Pinkie Pie
they finally saw Fluttershy walking deep into the forest, they followed her when suddenly they saw her walk into a pretty field of flowers and animals, and sunshine, then they saw what, in Rainbow's opinion, looked like a monster
"Fluttershy!!!" the thing exclaimed

"Hello Discord," said Fluttershy greeting him with a hug
"Seeing you again is absolutely magnificent, just like you are dearest," he said with a smile
Fluttershy blushed
'I can do this, I can do this' he thought to himself
"......F-Fluttershy?" he asked sweating
"Yes Discord?" she asked, her beauty aglow
"Uh,....."
"Is everything alright? she asked with a smile of concern
"Well I,...that is .....Would you............do you.....I-I mean" he stuttered
"Discord, you can just tell me anything, I mean, we're best friends, I'll understand," she said gently taking his paw
"Well, um,....would you like to,....maybe if you don't mind,.....if I......take you out on teensy little date tonight?" he squeaked the last part
"THAT'S IT YOU FREAK!!!" yelled a beyond fuming Rainbow Dash dashing at him.
Thankfully, Fluttershy pushed him out of the way just in time, because he would not have snapped his fingers in time, though because she pushed him out of the way, Rainbow Dash crashed into a tree then she got up to see Discord holding her friend in his arms
"LET HER GO"
"Excuse me, you are?" asked discord rather coolly
"Rainbow Dash, the element of loyalty, here to save my friend from a monster"
"RAINBOW DASH!!!" yelled Fluttershy flying over to her friend
"HOW DARE YOU?"
"Flutters, you okay?" asked Rainbow, but when Fluttershy glared at her, she went back
"I'm REALLY sorry about that," said Twilight trotting up to Discord
"And who might you be?" asked Discord looking at her "a,......Princess perhaps?"
Twilight nodded, "Hi, I'm Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, but you can just call me Twilight, and you are?"
"I'm Discord, the lord of chaos," he said with a smirk, but when Fluttershy frowned at him, he quickly said "But of course, I use my magic for good, instead of evil"
"Good, it's,......nice to meet you Discord"
"Howdy Discord," said Applejack "I'm Applejack, the Element of Honesty"
then something zoomed out of the bushes and grabbed Discord by the middle and said "Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh,FluttershynevertoldusaboutyouDiscordI'mPinkiePietheElementoflaughterbecauseIliketolaughalotandIlikesweetscandyanythingsweetbasically" she said in her fast worded tone
Discord managed to escape her too tight embrace, then he said "Anything sweet eh?what about this?" he snapped his fingers and a cotton candy cloud appeared again and it was raining chocolate milk,
"WOW" shouted Pinkie before zooming over to the cloud to start drinking
"And I'm Spike, Twilight's number one assistant, and friend," said Spike
"A baby dragon huh? Fluttershy must have been really interested in you" he said with a slight frown
"Believe me, she was" he replied
"Fluttershy, can I talk to you alone?" asked Discord
"Sure"
they walked behind at least five-dozen trees
"So, do you want to,....you know?" asked Discord rubbing the back of his neck
she smiled "No"
his ears drooped "Oh," he said disappointedly
Fluttershy pounced on him knocking him over
she giggled "gotcha"
"Wha-ohhhhhh" he said starting to laugh himself, as he set up, he grabbed her by the waist and set her down
"I think I might be rubbing off on you too much"
she pretended to pout "You say that like it's a bad thing"
he laughed again "So, do you want to go?"
she resumed her smile "That sounds lovely, I'd love to"
"Okay, how does tonight at six sound?"
"That sounds fine" she replied
"Great, would you,..uh,..mind wearing something nice?"
"Not at all, see you tonight," she said starting to fly home while her friends just walked, as soon as they were out of sight, he did a fist pump and shouted "YES!!!";
He sat under a tree and sighed, then he started to panic, he couldn't do this alone, he doesn't know what ponies do for dates, even if he did what would SHE like? he soon decided to ask the ponies for help.

"Now remember Discord, Rarity is very fond of civilization, whatever you do, please use your manners," said Twilight quietly to Discord while Spike nodded, Twilight knocked on the door
"Hello, how can I help you?" asked Rarity peeking through the door at her boutique
"TWILIGHT, SPIKIE-WIKIE how are you?" exclaimed the white unicorn shutting her eyes while smiling, Spike did his best not to swoon
"Hi Rarity, now like we told you, you have a client, and well like we warned you,...he's a bit,.....unique," said Twilight carefully
"Yes, yes, of course, but darling, I'm sure that he's not as bad as you described him to-" Rarity said before opening her eyes and seeing Discord
"uh-eh-it-th-wha-huh?"
there was an awkward silence between the two ponies, the dragon, and the draconequus until spike broke it by mumbling
"Don't say she didn't warn you"
then Twilight said, "Rarity, this is Discord he's a,......" Twilight trailed off embarrassed, she could usually name all kinds of animal species
"Draconequus" Discord whispered
"Yes, a draconequus, and well, he's going to have a,............chat, with Fluttershy later , and he apparently needs our help"
at first, Rarity said nothing, then she said "S-sure,....come on in" Twilight and Spike walked in, meanwhile Discord appeared inside, luckily the others didn't notice.
"Now then, Discord was it?" she asked, Discord nodded
"Yes well, Fluttershy came by earlier and asked for a dress, I picked out one most magnificent, now I know why" Rarity whispered to Twilight a description of the dress, Twilight said "Ohhh, that dress, you've made alterations?" Rarity nodded then whispered something else, Twilight giggled and nodded.
Discord looked at them curiously, what were they hiding?
"Discord, follow me," said Rarity to the draconequus, he did as told, he followed her into her room to start.

"SERIOUSLY?" Discord asked loudly, he was wearing a tux, it was dark blue
"How about I wear a tux that's, I don't know,....Chartreuse?" he said changing the color
"No, no, no, Chartreuse represents Discord-"
"EXACTLY, that's my name, so it would be perfect"
"But it also represents jealousy, Cowardice, and sickness! where do you think the term "Yellow Fever" came from, the sky?"
Discord hadn't thought of that, he didn't want Fluttershy to think he was the jealous type, he certainly wasn't a coward, and he didn't want Fluttershy to think he was sick, besides, he wasn't even sure if she like chartreuse, so he changed it back
"Fine, your the boss"
"Now then, do you remember what I taught you?"
"Yes, yes, treat her like a lady at all times, care for her desires, and at the same time, be me"
Rarity smiled "Yes, now, where are you taking her?"
Discord started to panic again.
"I hadn't thought of THAT"
Rarity put a hoof to her chin in thought when suddenly they heard a voice.
"Is that......" asked spike to himself, although the others could hear him.
Discord and Rarity looked out the window and saw a black figure of a pegasus walking towards the boutique, though there was no mistaking those sparkling jade eyes.
"SHE'S COMING" shouted discord.
Fluttershy was making her way towards the place Discord told her he would pick her up
Discord was curled up in a little ball on the floor he had a little brown bag that he rapidly breathed in and out through, while Rarity was patting his shoulder with one foreleg while the other was moving back and forth between her chest and thin air while saying "in, out, in, out, in out, in, out, in, out" when suddenly, an idea hit her like lightning "THAT'S IT!!!"

Fluttershy walked in the door, Twilight gasped
"Fluttershy, you look absolutely GORGEOUS"
"Thank you Twilight, is Discord here?"
"Yes, he'll be down in a second"
Twilight waited two minutes, but Discord did not come down
Twilight laughed nervously, "Just a minute," she said excusing herself closer to the stairs
"DISCORD, get your tuchas down here NOW!!!" she yelled,
"Okay, Okay, keep your crown on!!!" shouted a voice from upstairs
Discord walked down the stairs
"And I would really watch that language if I were you Miss Sparkle" he said smirking and glaring at her
"Discord?"
"FLUTTERSHY, are you ready to-" Discord began when he saw her appearance, and his jaw literally hit the ground
she was wearing a long, shimmering shamrock dress, with pink lotuses lining around the waistline, there was pink lining around the chest part, and there were strands of jade ribbon going down the cape, she had a lotus behind her ear, and there were pink rose petals in her curled mane, and she had jade shoes that matched her eyes, she was just like Twilight had described her; absolutely gorgeous.
"Are you okay?" asked Twilight waving her hoof up and down in front of his face.
Discord didn't answer, he was too enchanted by the beauty of the pegasus before him, he couldn't take his eyes off her, she was so beautiful, he couldn't think of what to say.
"Discord? is the dress too sparkly? I could change if you'd prefer something-"
"NO!!!,.......I mean,.....I think you look,.....ethereal"
Fluttershy blushed deeply
Discord held out a bouquet of white roses to the pegasus, who took them and smiled
"Thank you Discord, but how will I get these home?'
with a snap of his fingers, the bouquet disappeared
"There, safe and sound at home, now can we go?" he asked holding out his paw
Fluttershy nodded and took his paw and headed out the door
"Where are we going?" she asked
"You'll see, close your eyes he said
Fluttershy did as told, discord then snapped his fingers and they appeared in an open empty field, after a few snaps of his fingers he told her to open her eyes.
