It was an magical evening down in New New york.It was almost completely dark in the entire city.A light beam or two was shown by some helicopters and the transport-tubes had as always the traditional ''Late-Night'' traffic.The buildings were dark as a few windows turned on,sometimes yellow or sometimes black.
And near some buildings,on Machine-street 377 stood the Planet Express building.
''You know,New New York at night is almost my favorite time of the day.'' I sighed smiling and pretty exited,because the fact of Planet Express closing in about a few minutes was the only thing i was thinking about.
I was standing in front of a window,looking out over ''Night'' New New York City.
I slowly raised my head to one of the most beautiful things in the night sky.
I always loved the night,not just because Bender is usually drunk,but it was one special thing.
...The Moon...
It only showed up at night,and in the 20st century i talked allot to it...like it was my own psychiatrist.
The moon is this awesome,romantic and exotic place to travel...maybe i said that already to Leela,but she doesn't know that i am always dreaming of the moon...even though I've bin there one time.
Suddenly a loud bell ringed into my ears.It was a sound of Freedom,Coolness and Happiness at the same time.
''WE ARE CLOSED!!!'' i yelled exited while i raised my hands laughing.
But before i could blink,the door flashed open and my great,great,great,great,great,great nephew : Professor Hubert J Farnsworth came into the room.
''GOOOooooOOOoooOOOood news ...uhm...Fry'' The Professor yawned while he scratched his back.
I looked away from the room towards my nephew.I kept forgetting that Planet Express was actually his house.
''Hey Professor,the bell ringed so does that mean i can go home?'' i asked kindly while my voice was almost screaming.
''No,nobody gets home before i say they can go home!'' The old one declaimed.
''B-but where are Amy,Hermes,Dr Zoidberg,Leela,Scruffy and Bender?'' i stumbled confused.
''Home...'' the professor moved his glasses up and looked at me.
''But ...why am i still here than...'' i asked him while i scratched the back off my head.
''Ewwwaaah? Oh i needed you to complete one simple task.'' The professor said smiling.
''Really,a task? Awesome! Tell me and i do it!!!'' I shouted a little.
''You'll go on an mission all by yourself to deliver this box with groceries,and other stuff to the moon.''
The Professor explained while he gave me a white box with the planet express logo on it.
I observed the box with my eyes as i started to yawn.
''But who is so stupid to travel to the moon at 12 o clock in the evening?'' i said tired.
''You.'' My old nephew replied cold back.
I didn't knew what to do : One piece of me was screaming : ''I'M GOING TO THE MOON!''
but another part was nagging : ''But i don't want to go,i want to go home...''
Finally i woke up out of my weird fantasy thoughts.
''B-but how do i travel...and what if i run out of oxygen?'' I asked,a little bit afraid of me dying on the moon.
''Oh Big Fufff,no need to worry about that,common relative...'' The old man pushed me forward to the humongous room were the Planet Express ship stood.
''Wow,can i take the ship!?'' i said so exited i could jump up and down like a bunny.
''But of course...not.You take the small rocket that i have invented.'' The Professor pointed to an small rocket.
It was not an large rocket but it had enough space to fill with like 3 persons.It had an red colored center,yellow engines and an window.The door was covered with metal and iron that could open sideways.
''Nice...uhm...Rocket Professor.'' i said sarcastic.
''Now,now no need for compliments.'' the Professor blushed while he putted an helm over my head.''Wooowowowow,wait,do i even get oxygen tanks!!!?'' i yelled while i looked at the professor with big eyes.''Fry,this is 3012...what do you expect,that were still using tanks like they did until the great oxygen war in 2015?''The Professor giggled while he pointed at an button.''This little button will give you oxygen for like a week of 6...so i think you will have enough.'' He smirked.''Cool,so i don't need an astronaut suit?'' I asked while i stepped inside the rocket and closed the door behind me.''That's correct.Oh,and before i forget,Fry!'' The old man with the lab-coat opened the door of the rocket and looked straight into my eyes.
''In about 2 hours the rocket will fly you automatically back to Earth.
So if your outside the rocket,it will grab you with his giant soft claw and takes you back to New New York.
So KEEP AN EYE ON THE TIME!'' The Professor warned.
I wasn't sure if he was serious but i thought that i could remember it just like an elephant.I nodded in agreement.
''I will remember that thing that you just said,Professor!'' I saluted brave to him and i was ready for a count-down.
''I hope so that you come back alive....Well here's the box!!!'' The Professor shouted happy while he trowed the White Delivery box into my hands.He closed the door with an slam and walked as fast as he could towards an activation-panel.
''Prepare For Count-down!'' The Professor announced,while he switched switches and pressed some buttons.
I looked up as i saw the the ceiling of the Planet Express building slowly going open.
The rocket turned 180 degrees upwards into the dark,with stars filled night-sky.
The Professor chuckled and yelled : '' Launch in TEN-NINE-EIGHT-SEVEN-SIX-FIVE-FOUR-THREE-TWO AND ONE!!!''
I smiled and whispered : ''Blast-off~''
Under the rocket came smoke like it was smoking the biggest cigar in the entire universe while i got launched into the sky.
I looked down on New New York city.The whole city inched every second i got farther and farther into the sky.
Beneath me i saw the thousands of clouds were i dashed through and finally i leaved the atmosphere and i had that feeling again....I was in space... I glared at the big blue planet surrounded with white clouds.
''See you soon,big blue ball of idiots!'' i giggled while i waved at my Home-planet : ''Earth''.
I nestled into my red seat and i dropped without a care the white Delivery box on my lap.
Now i had to wait until i finally landed on the moon,so i had to do something.
First i started to count stars...
''One...two....three...damn it i lost the count...ah well,let's start over...one two...''
After that i ate some peanuts : ''Hmm,these peanuts are at least ten thousand times better in Space than in those airplanes.'' I munched.And finally i glared at the White ball right on front of me.
''The Moon,The Moon,The Moon!!!'' it kept repeating in my brain.I was loaded with excitement,enthusiasm,happiness and allot of excitement. The Moon was getting closer as i saw the stars and a few meteors floating at both sides of the rocket.
''Oh Meteorites...The Dangerous Dangers of Space.'' I sighed.
Suddenly a Meteorite hits the ship and my surroundings started to shiver and shake.
I looked with fright in my eyes towards the control-panel. ''Oh..oh'' I quoted while i saw the buttons flickering on and off.
I heard an sort off alarm-clock sound going off.
It resounded into my ears when i started to press some random buttons in panic.
''Common buttons,Save me!!!'' i screamed in fright.The rocket twisted and turned and did many barrel rolls.
My pupils went small,I felt like barfing and my heart pumped into my chest.
''This is no good...'' i whispered to myself as i saw the moon with an high speed common towards me.
''Well...at least i'm going to die,brave as i was...MOMMMYYYYY!!!'' I cried while i putted my hands over my eyes.

I Slowly opened my eyes and i had an fainted vision.I blinked a few times and i sat up.''Man...what happened...'' i asked myself.Suddenly it hits me.''Oh yeah...never drive the rocket-ship close to meteors...'' I sighed while i planted my hand into my face.i felt my surroundings to be sure i was not dead.''Man i was never so glad to feel the sweet iron around me.'' I spoke with an big relief.I felt with my hands around the helm that i had over my head.''And your not broken too,thank goodness.''
Well,the ship was okay and all the buttons seems like they were working pretty fine.I had nothing to worry about.

''Wait!!!,where's the...oh few...'' I whipped the sweat off of my forehead when i saw the white delivery box under the red seat.
''Man if i lost you,i was really really really into big big trouble.'' I picked up the box and slowly took a look out of the window.I was quiet for a while.''Were here...W-were on the moon again!''
I smiled so big that i felt a little pain in my jaw.With a little curiosity i slowly opened the door.
I saw an white,big landscape that was incredible wide. Moon-rocks and craters were covered all over the ground.
The sky was purple with a slight of black,decorated with millions of stars and planets.My breath made an slight condense in my Space-helm.''Wow...I'm on the moon again.''I clanged the white,delivery box tight against my white t-shirt.I suddenly realized and also felt that it was not cold or warm on the moon,it felt like it was 17 Degrees on an normal Spring-day.
I felt lucky this evening so i made an decision : I made an big jump while i closed the door of the rocket behind me.
''It's One Small Step For Fry...''
I said smiling while i landed slowly thanks to the gravity on the moon.
I looked around but all i could see was rocks,craters and a white landscape.
''...And One Giant Step For Loneliness.'' i frowned and glared at the boring landscape.
I turned around to take a look at the rocket ship.It wasn't so very damaged but it had a few scars and yeah it almost got sunken into the Moon-ground but further he still looked like he could get me home again.
I turned back to the Moon's landscape view and i started thinking.I was to far away from the Luna-park amusement park or else i would walk by and took a visit but unfortunately... I was stranded on the death side of the moon without any sign of live. I sighed ; '' Well,better just complete my task for the Professor and look for someone around here...'' I decided and i start walking.I jumped a little and giggled. ''Well at least i'm having fun searching to that person!'' i smiled while i made a flip into the Non-Gravity Space.The gravity was next to the Luna-Amusement park my favorite thing on the moon. I landed on my feet again and i walked further with the white box wrapped into my arms.
After an Hour and 30 minutes of walking i still was screaming : ''Hello!? Somebody Here!? Hello??!''
My voice was not loud enough so i stopped screaming.I raised my hand over my eyes to look if something was walking around here.But as usual there was no sign of somebody,anything of something that is alive here on this side of the moon. I sighed. ''Too bad that I've bin stranded on the Live-less side of the moon,why didn't i crashed down next to the amusement-park?'' I asked myself. I looked at the ground and my smile changed into a sad-face.
''I guess it just was a Prank-call after all...'' I sighed sadly while i kicked a moon-rock.
''Aaah my foot! Stupid...'' I kicked it again.
''Aaah my foot! Stupid...'' I stopped with kicking the rock and picked it up,dropping the box softly on the ground.
''I learn from my mistakes buddy!'' i said angry and i trowed the moon-rock away and i quickly picked up my Delivery-box.
The rock landed far away while he bounced off the ground thanks to the gravity,after 4 minutes he laid finally still.
I looked up and i finally saw it...''No way...i-is that....a person!?'' I squinted my eyes.
''S-sir!!! ...or miss!!! Wait Stop!!!'' I carried the box under my arms and i took a sprint towards the mysterious person.
''Sir,uhm Miss....madame i have an delivery for you and...'' I stopped running and i stood behind the back of the creature.
I couldn't believe my own eyes.The creature was purple,with on her hind an sort of image that was black with an moon in it.
She had a mane that was blue like a lake and she had majestic wings,an horn and an amazing crown on her head.
She was just sitting there,watching a big,blue,ball.

''Earth'' my brain whispered.
''Wow!!!'' I shouted with my mouth.I lost my balance and felt over my own feet,accidentally dropping the box behind me.
With an ''BOF!'' I landed on the ground, Moon-dust floated all over my body.
The creature turned around in a snap and stared at me with big eyes.I looked shocked at the creature that was staring at me.I rubbed my helm and i pulled at my red jacket.
''Oh dear,I'm sorry if i scared thou but thou was come and running from thy far and i did not observed you!'' She yelled at me. ''Help...'' I crawled scared away towards my box. ''N-no please ...come back...'' The creature chuckled and her voice changed into an normal girl voice while she turned away slowly from me.
I had the feeling that she was lonely and she didn't want to scare me at all.My heart founded finally his rest when I heard an normal,kind voice that came out of her mouth.I stood up,picked up my delivery box and walked slowly towards the mysterious purple thing.The creature was just staring towards the Earth that was out there in space,only a bit smaller.When i saw that she was relaxed and not dangerous I sat down on my knees next to her,pushing the delivery box a little behind me.
''W-what are you?'' I asked kindly a little bit stuttering.''I'm an Alicorn...'' the creature spoke slowly.I rubbed my helm again. The creature slowly lifted her head towards me.''And what are you?'' Her ''hoof-like'' hand was stroking my red jacket.She giggled shortly and whispered amazed : ''Ooh,fuzzy~.''
''I'm a human...'' I whispered with a smile.''Wow...i never seen things like you here on this side of the moon..'' She smiled slightly while she looked in front of her back to the earth.
''Well I saw no-one here...i just thought that this was the death-side of the moon...I only know that there's an Amusement park at the other side of the moon'' I pointed to the west-side of the moon.
''Yeah I know,but I like the other side of the moon more...because here i can think of what i did wrong... '' The Alicorn hanged her head in sadness.''So...How did you get here?'' I asked a little confused while I looked around.
''Well...I don't want to talk about it...but it has something to do with banishment...'' She spoke with an slightly insane voice while she rolled her eyes.'' Yeah I know banishment... i banish my poo always to the toilet...'' I replied while i stroked the ground of the moon.
The alicorn slightly giggled but than looked back at the earth.''Where do you come from?'' The Purple Alicorn asked me with curious eyes looking at me.''Well i was flying trough space and awesomeness and i was all save...until i got hit by a meteorite and i crashed on the moon.'' I explained a little ashamed. The alicorn holds her hooves in front of her mouth and slightly laughed. I blushed a little when i saw her laughing.''Hey! Meteorites are dangerous,don't fool with them!'' I warned her.
''So,your all alone here?'' I looked around but all i could see was just the same ...Rocks...Craters and space.
''No,of course not! I'm not alone!'' The alicorn glanced at me with an smile.''I have so many friends on the moon!''
''R-really?'' i replied slightly disturbed.''Yeah,would you like to meet some of them?'' she asked.''Well i...'' i stumbled.
''Okay!,well this here,is Skippy the Moonrock!'' she showed an rock that looked exactly like a an animal with an Hippo's body but with an head of an Giraffe without horns. ''Hey Skippy!'' i shouted happy while i waved at the rock.
The Alicorn waved with the rock in her hand back to me while she spoke in a high voice : ''Hello Human!''
I giggled while she put the rock besides her.
''Oh,there's this Cat-thing that runs trough the black space while she sings ''Nyan-yanyanyanyanyan'' The alicorn pointed to the sky. I looked up and i couldn't believe my eyes again : A cat with an Rainbow-trial behind her was running trough space while she singed an funny song.''Wooooooow,I never seen that before.'' i said amazed while i saw the cat disappearing behind a planet.
Suddenly I heard a loud voice screaming : ''SPAAACCCCCE!'' A big metal round thing landed next to me.
I jumped up out of fright.''Wow,w-what's that?!'' I shouted terrified.''Oh that's my friend Space-Core.I found him floating by here on the moon.'' She explained me.I turned back at the Core-thing,his green eye was moving all over the place while he struggled around next to me. ''Space space wanna go to space yes please space. Space space. Go to space.Space space wanna go to spaceSpace space going to space oh boy...Ba! Ba! Ba ba ba! Space! Ba! Ba! Ba ba ba!Oh. Play it cool. Play it cool. Here come the space cops.Help me, space cops. Space cops, help.Going to space going there can’t wait gotta go. Space. Going.Better buy a telescope. Wanna see me. Buy a telescope. Gonna be in space.'' The Space-core talked in an very hyper way. ''Wow...you sure do like space ain't ya,little buddy?'' I giggled while i patted the robotic thing.
''What’s your favorite thing about space?'' He asked me while he looked at me. ''Well...'' i tried to reply.'' Mine is space.Space going to space can’t wait.Space…Space. Trial. Puttin’ the system on trial. In space. Space system. On trial. Guilty. Of being in space! Going to space jail!'' He suddenly launched himself back into Space.I leaned over to the alicorn that was still looking at the Space-core.
''Well i think he likes space...'' I whispered into the Alicorns ear while I saw him tracking down a falling star.
''YEEEHAAAAAW!'' he shouts while it echoed over the whole moon.
The alicorn laughed while she looked at me.''Your funny...can i ask maybe what your name is?'' The alicorn flapped her wings wildly.I had the feeling that she was very excited.
I hold out my hand and spoke kindly to her : ''I'm Fry! ''She grabbed my hand with her hoof and slowly shook it.
'' I'm Princess Luna...but call me Luna.'' I gasped while my breath created again an condense in my space-helm. ''Your name means the sun! That's so awesome!'' I said proud.''Uhm ...almost...it means ''The Moon''.'' Replied the Princess.
For a moment it was quiet all over the moon. Luna and I were looking towards the Earth.
I saw the stars twinkling and sparkling,planets moved and turned around slightly and the meteorites dancing in a bow.
It was like a giant Space-disco...
''It's nice out.'' Luna whispered.
''Yeah.'' I replied quietly.
The silence remained for 30 seconds until i broke the silence once again.
''You know,Luna...I never told anybody this...well almost then..., but a thousand years ago I used to look up at the moon and dream about being an astronaut. I just didn't have the grades, nor the physical endurance. Plus I threw up a lot and nobody liked spending a week with me... but the moon was like this awesome, romantic, mysterious thing, hanging up there in the sky where you could never reach it, no matter how much you wanted to.'' Luna jumped up and wrapped her hooves around my neck so tight i couldn't hardly breath. ''T-that's so sweet of you to say that!'' she said while she smiled. I blinked my eyes and patted her back. ''There...T-there,your....very sweet....miss L-Luna...'' I stumbled while I slowly breathed.
The Princess sat back into here own position.''Oh i'm so sorry,Fry... i-i don't get much compliments these days.''
''It's okay Princess...'' I replied friendly.
''So Fry. Was the real moon anything like the moon you used to dream about?'' Luna smiled at me. I looked up at the space-core than towards Skippy than at the landscape of the moon and than finally back at the Alicorn's cute face.
''Eh.Close enough...'' I replied.
I checked my oxygen for a second and than i took a look at Luna.
Her horn starts to glow as a Moon-rock slowly levitates towards me. It landed softly on my hand.
''This gift is a ''Gift Of Honor'' to meet you,it's from me...to you.'' Princess Luna declaimed official with an royal voice.
I looked at the rock and i shoved it into my pocket. ''Thank you,Luna I will treasure it forever.Oh! Speaking of giving gifts!''
I stood up and walked towards the white box that laid behind me.''This is for you...'' I spoke kindly.
I gave her the white box. The alicorn smiled brightly as she rips the box open. i glanced at what she was doing.
She holds out food,groceries and a... ''Teddy bear???''. I looked shocked.
''Hmmm,maybe the Professor had some other things than only delivering important things to the moon.''
I talked into myself.''Oh dear...I don't have enough bits to pay all this.'' Luna said shocked while she slowly looked at me. ''But maybe i know how i can pay you back and as well thanking you for delivering this to me.'' she smirked.
She leaned in on me and gave me slowly a hug and two kisses on my Space-helm.
I blushed slightly,my eyes were wide from the surprisingly two kisses.
''Well...i think y-you just paid the prize that was required.'' i stuttered while i blinked three times with my eyes.
Luna giggled as she twirled her hooves nervously.It was like she wanted to ask me something really bad,something important...or something that is important to her. I looked at her.
''Is there something you want to say or ask or tell me,Princess?'' I asked curious.
''Fry...i would like to ask you...d-do you want to be my friend...''
But before i could reply to her question,an rocket ship flew super fast near us and grabbed me with his giant soft claw around my waste.
''N-no...no!!!'' I shouted.
''Not now,no P-princess!!!'' I shouted while i got dragged away from the moon at high speed.
''Fryyyy!!! Come Back!!!'' Luna yelled with tears in her eyes back at me.
''Lunaaaaaaa!!!'' i cried while suddenly a blue thing that looked exactly like the space-core but only with an blue eye flew by right in front of my eyes :
''GRAB ME GRAB ME GRAB MEEEE!!!'' he shouted while he disappeared into the darkness.
I was confused but also in panic. I tried to release myself from the claw but it was no use.Luna's voice and the moon fainted and disappeared slowly... I only could hear the Space-core yelling into the distance.
''Are we in space?We are?Oh oh oh. This is space! I’m in space!We made it we made it we made it. Spaaaaaaace!!!''
I sighed while the claw was still around me and the rocket ship was flying towards earth again.
I hanged my head and a tear rolled down my cheek. The moon went smaller and smaller until i couldn't see her...
''And i couldn't even say Goodbye...'' I whispered.

Back into my own apartment i was thinking while looking out of the window.
I completed my task,i delivered my delivery all by myself but i guess i will never see Luna again.
Only the thought of seeing her never again and always stuck on the moon made me cry like a little kid that just lost his candy.After 5 minutes of crying i looked up back to the moon that shined light through my window.
''I wish i could say goodbye...before i got dragged away from you by a stupid rocket.''
''Farewell,Princess Luna...I wish i could be your friend...but I will...in my heart''
I saluted the moon with honor and sniffing once more.
I closed the window and walked towards my bed.I was ready for some sleep and wanted to forget what happened this night.Until..one of my pockets started glowing.I gasped and moved my hand inside my pockets.
I picked up slowly the Moon-rock that Luna gave me...
It glowed...and with silver letters was written :
I Will Never Forget You,My Friend Fry.
I whipped a tear away from my face and I smiled,happy as i was.With an pounding heart I laid down in my bed,the blankets were covered all over me,nice and warm and i rested my head on the soft pillow.
The Moon-rock laid next to my head on the pillow.
The Moon-rock slowly glowed for 5 seconds... ''Goodnight Fry.''
I closed my eyes satisfied and i drifted off to sleep.
