Cutie Mark Chronicles(Unedited)

Twinkle Shine

“Come on, you got it Twinkle!” Dusk Star said, staring up at his younger sister, Twinkle Shine, who was flying very messily through the sky.

“I can’t so it,” Twinkle said as she fell toward the ground. “Oof.”

“Maybe next time,” Dusk said putting a honey-colored off on his sister’s shoulder.

“I’ll never fly! Look,” Twinkle whined before pointing at her baby brother, who was fluttering through the sky. “Even Galaxy can fly and his only one year old!”

“You just gotta practice,” Dusk said. “And when you can fly, then it will be better then anypony in your class.”

“I guess…” Twinkle Shine said.

“Okay, try again.”

Twinkle Shine flapped her wings, and slowly her hooves lifted off the ground. It still was extremely difficult to stay in the air but, she was flying. Then suddenly, she tore into the sky, leaving behind a streak of color that matched her tail.

Just like she practiced, she folded her wings aside her sides and began to nosedive down to the ground below. Seconds before she hit the ground her wings flared out, causing dirt to rise into the air, and she began to ascend into the sky again.

Twinkle flew past her brother at great speed, causing a flash to illuminate her flank briefly. She looked down at it and there it was, two stars, the right one being smaller than the left one. Twinkle smiled the widest smile she had ever smiled.

Twinkle quickly turned around and landed on the cloud with a loud screech.

“You got your cutie mark!”

“I’m so excited! I’m keep flying forever!”

Lemon Pie

Lemon Pie trudged the rest of the way to class. Which was half because of the heat and half because she wasn’t looking forward to school. Her school had just added Baking, to their curriculum. Which she wasn’t good at.

Lemon frowned, catching a glimpse of her school in the distant.

“HI LEMONY,” a colt called out to her. And she froze, turning around just in time to see a book getting thrown at her face. It fell to the ground, the cover reading: How To Get A Cutie Mark For Dummies.

“YOU SHOULD READ IT, IT MIGHT HELP!” The colt added and his group of friends trotted away laughing.

Another reason why she hated baking was because she had it with her bully, Firecracker. Lemon Pie stepped over the fallen book, nursing her sore forehead.

When Lemon Pie finally reached school, it was mostly happiness and fear. She was happy to reach a building with AC but was afraid about the baking. Lemon entered her class and heaved her bag onto the desk. She used magic to open the bag and pulled out an apple.

In her village it was traditional to give your teacher an apple. Firecracker, who was two seat behind her, levitated the apple out of her hoof with his magic and took big bite out of it.

“Hey!” Lemon Pie said in a squeak.

“WHAT!?” Firecracker shouted which made Lemon flinch.

“Y-You should be nicer! And maybe we can be friends,” Lemon said.

“I’m only friends with foals who have their cutie marks,” Firecracker said.

“Cutie marks don’t change a pony’s personality,” Lemon reminded him and he threw the apple at her face, but luckily she dodged it. Lemon got up and was about to retort but her teacher came in.

“Everyone silence! And take a seat,” the teacher said. “Line up to give me your apple.”

Everyone lined up expected Lemon Pie who sat nervously in her seat.

“Lemon Pie. Where is your apple?”

“I-I...don’t have it,” Lemon Pie said. “I’m sorry sir.”

“You don’t! Detention for you Princess,” the teacher sneered.

As the students walked back to their seats, Firecracker gave Lemon Pie a disturbing smile.

“Good Morning Class.”

“Good Morning Mr. Fax!”

“Today we start our lesson with Math,” Mr. Fax explained…

After about 30 minutes of math they moved onto Baking. Their baking teacher Miss. Sugar Plum entered, “hello class.” Miss Plum’s voice was a lot nicer in tone and volume. “Today we’re gonna make pie!” The class squealed in delight, expect Lemon Pie. Pie  was in her name. She had to do this right.

Lemon Pie levitated a scalpel to scoop out the pumpkin. She had planned on making Pumpkin Pie. After she put the pumpkin guts into a bowl and cleaned herself up. She baked the pie and set it on a counter.

She didn’t expect it to be tasty. Miss Pulm levitated Lemon’s pie into the air to be sliced. She then bite into, Miss Plum’s face split into a wide smile. And there was a blinding flash, Lemon Pie looked down at her flank. She had gotten her cutie mark.

Rosa

“I’M SORRY!” Rosa pleaded, even though she did nothing wrong. All she did was not get her cutie mark before school started again. Spitballs, zoomed through the air, most colliding with her face. Rosa began to bat them away with her hooves, failing miserably. Rosa finally gave up and dashed into the Everfree Forest. She wanted to die.

Rosa tripped over a tree root and collapsed on the ground, sobbing loudly. Why me? I did nothing wrong… Rosa thought to herself, for a moment it seemed like she would drown in her own tears.

But Rosa ran out of tears and wiped her eyes with a hoof. Rosa decided that she would live in the forest forever. She grabbed a bundle of tree branches and piled it into a tent. She crawled inside and the pile of sticks collapsed on her, which only made her cry again. I’ll never do anything right.

Rosa crawled out the pile of sticks, getting scraps across her fur in the process. She winced as she stood, finding a bright pink rose in a cluster of dead leaves. She walked over to and picked it up between her teeth. In a flash, the same was appeared on Rosa’s flank. She stared at it, the rose falling from her open mouth. She picked it up and ran toward Ponyville, she had gotten her cutie mark.

Aqua Drop

Aqua looked out at the vast ocean, anything could be out there, Aqua pulled her ears back in fright. She stuck a blue hoof into the water, it was cold slightly, her older sister, Wave Rider, gave her a hard shove, sending her face first into the cold water. Aqua coughed, water dripping down her chin.

“Come on!” Wave Rider said and ran deeper into the water. Aqua reluctantly followed her sister. She felt her head go under as her hoof touched the ground and she panicked. Her hooves failed about uselessly, Wave Rider levitated her out the water.

“Seriously,” Wave said. A small wave rolled across the sea.

“I can’t swim!” Aqua said, crossing her hooves and pouting.

“Try,” Wave said and let Aqua drop into the water. In a panic, Aqua failed her limbs about. Eventually her horn emitted the brightest blue light right as she was about to pass out. The light lifted her lifeless body out the water and slowly placed her gently on the ground.

Aqua coughed up a bit of water, as her Mother performed CPR. After that, there was a flash and a water drop appeared on her flanks…

Green Apple

Green Apple paced the floor of her bedroom. A large suitcase sat on her bed, she wanted to impress her step-sister Applejack. She placed a brown stuffed dog into her suitcase, then closed it.

She pushed it outside and then into the wagon. Green hopped in the wagon next to her twin sisters Apple Seed and Apple Slice. The wagon lurched forward and bounced over every rock and bump in the road.

After the hour long ride, Green Apple exited the wagon. An orange mare was sitting on the porch, two foals running around.

“Howdy ya’ll,” the mare, Applejack, said. She got up, the porch creaking under her.

“Hi Applejack,” Green Apple ran up to hug her step-sister.

“Hell Sugarcube, I’m glad we finally got to meet,” Applejack said returning the hug. After the hug, Green Apple’s cutie mark appeared. She screamed in joy, her family finally together at long last.

Glitter Shy

Little Glitter Shy fluttered through the air in the direction of the Pet Store. The breeze blew her purple mane back, when she found the distinct white building. Glitter landed in front the door and pushed it open, a bell chimed as the door opened.

Cute animal toys, blankets, and grooming tools lined shelves and filled boxes. It smelled like watered down honey, Glitter rang the bell at the front counter. A skinny stallion with a puppy cutie mark walked out, he smiled. “Hello Glitter Shy.”

“Hello Sir,” Glitter smiled. “I came here to watch the kittens!”

“Okay. I was just about to head out, come here.” The stallion lead Glitter Shy to the back. Five cute cats were napping in cage, the floor padded with blankets and pillows. Fluttershy sat in front the cage, watching the kittens so intently she didn’t see the stallion leave and close the door behind himself.

A tan cat slowly awoke from its slumber. It sauntered over to Glitter on a broken paw, Glitter cooed.

“Awww,” Glitter nuzzled it between the bars. Just as she did, a flash appeared and a cat cutie mark branded itself onto her flank.
