A Summer Rhapsody

Prologue: Things from The Sky

My name is Summer Rhapsody. A pegasus. Light brown coat. Red, wavy mane. Cutie mark? Take a guess, pal. It’s a note. And the story I’m about to tell you is probably just as unbelievable as six ponies repeatedly saving our world. I know I can’t believe it myself, but I should probably start with that day. Well, in the scale of believability, I’d say mine’s more believable.

We all remember where we were that day. Just another day in Ponyville and a day in Ponyville can either be plain as any other, or a chaotic, catastrophic event that seemed to threaten the existence of the town. It seemed for that particular day, it was the latter.

I remember just minding my own business, sweeping leaves in front of my dad’s store. His store was a candle shop, and it was one boring shop. Everything was just normal when suddenly the winds started blowing strong and sunlight disappeared. There were things that appeared in the sky. They were like holes in the sky and things fell from them. Ponies panicked as usual; picking up children and shutting their homes to avoid the unknown threat.

I, of course, kept sweeping in front of my dad’s store because I’m an idiot not to look up. And because of that, something crashed on my head and knocked me unconscious. It was then that my life flashed before my eyes, and by the stars, was my life boring. Luckily, my dad realized I wasn’t in the house and found me outside. I was taken to the hospital and got treated. I got a concussion from the object that fell from the sky. My dad thought it was mine, so he brought it and place it beside me when I was at the hospital.

Now why would I tell you that? Because this story got started when I started studying the object. This thing’s to blame how I learned new things, realize a whole new world, fell in love, all that stuff. I guess I should start how I learned to use the thing called Ace One.
