Crush

Rarity was sitting down at her sowing machine. She looked through photos of her and Pinkie together. She sighed as Pinkie didn't know that Rarity had a crush on her. She has had this crush for a while but kept it secret from Pinkie, her family her friends and her sister. She knew that she should just stay away until she got over her crush and in fact she has distracted herself.

Having a crush on Pinkie was hard for Rarity. She was suppressing her feelings because she didn't have enough courage to ask her out because she thought that Pinkie would possibly reject her feelings because Pinkie possibly didn't have feelings for her.

But suppressing her feelings has been a downside to Rarity as it has made her depressed and lonely. She wondered if she would ever get somepony to love. She wondered who Pinkie had a crush on. Pinkie has never talked about it aloud even though Rarity's and Pinkies friends all talked about theirs.

Rarity wished that something would get rid of her crush. She even had thought about dating other ponies in order to avoid her friends from asking and also to distract her from her crush. She hasn't done it yet because she had thought that it would go away quickly but she was wrong.

Her feelings only grew and she was growing tired of it. She couldn't help it. She was deeply in love with her friend. It didn't help either when she spent time with Pinkie. Her feelings seemed to be strengthened when she and Pinkie hung out. That didn't stop her though. She still kept her crush secret while she hung out with Pinkie.

She has debated on telling Pinkie but has never acted on that. It felt like a limbo to her. She had a crush so she kept it under wraps but it grew to make her heart hurt. It was an annoying cycle but it was one that she had continued to endure. She calmed her feelings down so she could go outside and get some fresh air.

As soon as she got her feelings under control she went for a walk to get her mind off of it. As she walked through the town she didn't think about her crush during that time. She hummed a song to calm her thoughts and in fact she thought of several new ideas for dresses.

The thoughts of dresses and the walk seemed to have eased her mind of her current troubles. She hoped that she could just try and relax when she got home and not worry about Pinkie. Soon she got home and started to sow a dress together from one of her current designs for one.

She seemed to get better when she did this. Her mind eased off of her crush as she focused on her work. She was relieved that she could use these hobbies as a distraction from her feelings. She wondered what would happen if she never revealed her crush. Would Pinkie confess her feelings to her or tell her she had a crush on somepony else.

She even tried to look for signs of Pinkie having a crush on her hoping that Pinkie did which would make it easer for Rarity to ask her out and then have Pinkie to accept her feelings and go out with her but she hadn't noticed anything different in Pinkies actions and feelings. She had no clue who Pinkie loved.

Rarity was also scared on asking Pinkie who she loved and she was scared of asking her out. She was afraid that Pinkie would reject her feelings so she was not planning on telling. She wondered if she would ever get married. On some days Rarity got so sad about suppressing her feelings that it made her cry.

She knew that there was a possibility that Pinkie didn't have a crush on her so that always stopped her from asking Pinkie out. She wondered how long the crush was going to last. She knew that it was a deep crush as it had already lasted for a long time.

After sowing a dress together she went to sit down. After sitting down she got out a photo album and looked at pictures of her and Pinkie together. The pictures made her heart hurt so she stopped looking at them. She sat there and tried to calm herself. After a few moments she was calm and she had her mind off of Pinkie so she put the photo album away and went out to buy supplies.

Soon she got to the store and started to browse as she bought as much as she needed. After that she checked out and paid the cashier and left the store. She hoped that she wouldn't run into Pinkie as it would put Pinkie back on her mind again. She wasn't ready to face Pinkie that moment.

After buying supplies she exited the store and was now on her way home. She saw no signs of Pinkie Pie anywhere so she cautiously continued to go home. When she got home she put away her supplies as she thanked her luck for not letting her run into Pinkie Pie.

She sighed as she sat down thinking that she would never get to go out with her love interest. She was almost certain that Pinkie didn't have a crush on her. Heart started to hurt as she wondered what Pinkie Pie was doing. She thought on telling Pinkie again and she wondered how that scenario would play out.

Even though she suppressed her feelings. Nothing would make her more happy than Pinkie confessing her love to her. She wished that it would happen at that instant. She would confess her feelings right after and then start going out with Pinkie and then they would live happily ever after. She just wished for a miracle.

Then there was a knock on Rarity's door. Rarity got up and opened it only to find Pinkie standing there smiling. Rarity had no idea on what to say. Her heart beat a mile a minute. Pinkie spoke.

"Hi Rarity! Just stopped by to say hello!" Pinkie said smiling. Rarity gulped as she felt incredibly nervous. She wondered on just blabbing her crush right to Pinkie. It was her chance. She held back though.

"Hello." Rarity said simply. Pinkie still stood there while looking to the back of Rarity's place.

"Can I come in?" Pinkie asked as she looked at Rarity standing in the doorway. Rarity wondered on what to say. She wondered why Pinkie was here. Pinkie had no reason to be there yet she just came unexpected. She wondered if she should let Pinkie in. She didn't want to seem like a bad friend if she didn't.

She then came up with a response and spoke.

"Why?" Rarity asked. Pinky looked hurt by this answer and Rarity wondered is she shouldn't have said that . Pinkie spoke.

"Because...your my friend..." Pinkie said. Rarity heard this and became depressed at the prospect of Pinkie rejecting her feelings. She decided to push Pinkie a bit more.

"No give me a real reason! Why are you here!? What is your main objective?" Rarity exclaimed. Pinkie was shocked by the outburst. Pinky's voice grew upset.

"Because....your my friend...." Pinkie said trying to get Rarity to let her in. Rarity thought of her options for response. Rarity was starting to grow upset at herself for making Pinkie upset she really wanted to confess her feelings. She stood aside and allowed Pinkie to come in.

"I'm sorry Pinkie. That was not right for me to do that." Rarity said apologizing. Pinkie nodded.

"It's okay Rarity I forgive you." Pinkie said. They both hugged and sat down. Rarity spoke.

"What is it that you need?" Rarity asked. Pinkie thought for a few moments and spoke.

"I need to tell you something that I have been thinking about." Pinkie said. Rarity nodded as her eyes widened and her heart started to race. She hoped that Pinkie was finally confessing to her.

"Me to! You can go first!" Rarity said wanting to know what Pinkie would say so that she wouldn't say the wrong thing. Pinkie took a deep breath and sighed. She then spoke.

"Rarity I have a crush on you." Pinkie said. Rarity couldn't contain her happiness and she shouted her secret.

"Me to!! I've been trying to hide it but I couldn't take it anymore!" Rarity exclaimed. Pinkie hugged Rarity as they had both confessed.

"Let's go out!" Rarity said almost to suddenly. Pinkie giggled and broke from the hug.

"Of coarse!" Pinkie said. From that moment on they started to go out. They told all their friends and got married and they both lived happily ever after.
