The Hearth's Warming party has been going on for thirty minutes and Spike still hasn't returned. "Where is Spike?", Twilight asked. "The party's been going on for thirty minutes and he's not here at all."

"Twilight, if Spike is still out there, I'm sure he's fine.", Applejack said.

"I know, but, it's Hearth's Warming and he left before the party started.", Twilight said.

"Maybe, he's still looking for more cakes to bring for the party.", Cheese said.

"That's what I was going to say.", Pinkie said cheerfully.

"But, did you see the look on his face when he walked out?", Twilight asked. "He looked like he was upset."

"What was he upset about?", Fluttershy asked.

"I don't know.", Twilight asked. "Was he just going on a walk to clear something off? Was he helping somepony else decorate their house? Was he just out there and he never came back? WHY ISN'T HE BACK!"

"Twilight, please, don't freak out.", Rarity said.

"I'M NOT FREAKING OUT!", Twilight shouted.

"Yes, Twilight, you are freaking out.", Rainbow Dash said. "You're freaking out, because Spike's not here anymore for the party."

"CAN ANYPONY TELL ME WHY SPIKE ISN'T HERE?!", Twilight asked shouting.

"Twilight!", Starlight said. "Let me tell you why Spike isn't here."

"Thank you, Starlight.", Twilight said. "Now tell me, why is Spike missing?"

Starlight closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Spike left because he heard you all talking about him."

"About what?", Twilight asked.

"About him and his tiny feet and can't reach higher parts of this room.", Starlight said.

"He heard us?!", Twilight asked shocked. "That was why he left?"

"Yeah, and he said that you all aren't his rightful family if you act that way about him.", Starlight said.

Twilight's eyes started to tear up. "Oh my gosh, what have I done.", she said.

"Twilight, don't blame yourself.", Starlight said. "You can go out there, look for him and apologize."

"But, we don't know where he is.", Applejack said. "Did any of us see anypony talking to him?"

"I did.", the voice from behind said.

They looked behind them and saw Apple Bloom standing right in front of them. "Apple Bloom, do you know where Spike went?", Applejack asked.

"I saw him earlier and I saw him walk off somewhere, but, he didn't tell me.", Apple Bloom said.

"What did he tell you?", Rainbow Dash asked.

"He said none of y'all needed him.", Apple Bloom said.

"None of us needed him?!", Twilight asked shocked again. "He ran away, because he thought none of us needed him?!"

"Yeah, he was so upset about how you teased him, he told me what you said about him.", Apple Bloom said.

"How are we going to find him?", Cheese asked.

"I bet somepony needed some GPS.", the voice said from above. Discord was floating above the ponies while they talked. "So, what were you all talking about?"

"Discord, do you have an idea on how to find Spike?", Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah.", Discord said. "What's happening right now, did he ran off out there?"

"Yes, but, we don't know where he is right now.", Twilight said panicking.

"Don't worry, girls, I have my Spike detector with me.", Discord said revealing the detector. "Alright, lets go out there and look for the boy."

"Cheese, I want you to be in charge of the party until we get back.", Pinkie said.

"Don't worry, Pinkie, I'll take care of everything.", Cheese said. He kissed her on the cheek and walked off.

The ponies and draconecuus went out into the Winter wonderland to look for their missing friend.
