Happy hearths warming!

On the 9th day of Christmas,

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were being blown this way and that, but that didn't stop the determined Rainbow Dash to keep on trotting to the supposed pathway to Ponyville. Behind her, was a very tired Fluttershy. She was trying as hard as she could to keep up with her friend, but kept on stopping because of over-exertion and with three hours of sleep. Fluttershy finally realized that she couldn't go on longer, so she told Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow.... I cant go on..." Fluttershy slunk to the fluffy snow and closed her eyes.

"Fluttershy you can trot a couple more yards." Rainbow stopped because of the silent reply, so she looked behind her, and saw a lump of pink and blue fabric underneath snow. She immediately grabbed Fluttershy and hoisted her onto her back. Good thing she was light, because Rainbow Dash would have toppled over because of all the weight. She tried with all her might, and she sighed as she finally saw Ponyville's remains underneath three yards of snow. It was all down hill now, and Fluttershy was getting colder. Rainbow Dash would have to figure out a fast way to go down the hill. She would need some sort of sled.

"Aha!" Rainbow announced as she saw a loose piece of bark from an apple tree.

"I bet Applejack wont mind if I use her trees for good." So Rainbow ripped the piece of bark from the tree and she put it on the snowy ground. She realized it could only fit one pony and conflicted who should go. Fluttershy needed immediate help, since she could easily slip into hypothermia, and Rainbow Dash would have to go down too to refuel. She desperately looked around for any other pieces of loose bark. Sadly, there was none. So Rainbow Dash stayed true to her element and she set Fluttershy in a ball onto the sled and pushed her down the steep hill. Rainbow couldn't even fly since she had her wings underneath her snow-gear. She could only watch in fear as Fluttershy slid down, not knowing who could possibly save her. Something snapped inside of her, so she in-buttoned her jacket, and sweater, and opened her wings,

and flew.

Discord felt the air grow colder very quickly and realized it was turning night. Discord looked at Derpy and Dinky who were struggling against the wind, shivering. He was also struggling, the wind beating on their faces twenty-four-seven. When Discord looked ahead, he saw a tree, and decided that they should stay there for the night. He looked back at the two and realized they were very tired and cold. Realizing those were the first steps to getting hypothermia, he decided they had to go on, to Ponyville, wherever that was at. Derpy could only whisper a gasp as she saw Dinky trip, and fall face-first into the snow, not moving. Derpy's wonky eyes looked straight and were filled with terror and fear. Discord immediately scooped up Dinky and brushed off the snow off her face, the wind not bothering him as he did this. He also grabbed Derpy and ran to the top of the tree. He saw Ponyville, buried in hoofs of snow! He tried to think of a plan to get down, with this abnormally tall hill. He realized the biggest thing that was even close, was the tree. He pushed as hard as he could, and the tree didn't budge. He tried and tried again, but failed. He thought of Dinky's life, and Derpy's life. He didn't know them well, but he did know that you should be kind to everypony, and others. He pushed and pushed, each one making the tree a bit weak. Before he could push the tree again as his last one, he was over-exerting himself, but he didn't care. He could die of hypothermia, but he didn't care. He cared, about getting this little family back home, no mater what. As if that fueled his strength, the tree tipped over, and was ready to be sent down the hill. It was tipping, so he quickly set Dinky and Derpy onto the sled and it finally tipped over and flew down the hill. Discord then turned around, and let the wind do it's job.

He fell down the hill.

A purple unicorn was passing by and she noticed a little hill in the already flat snow. She trotted over to it and realized it was Dinky and Derpy out cold on a sled! Amethyst quickly grabbed the sled with her hooves and realized it was a tree. She gave a warning call by tapping her necklace and it sending a magical wave, alerting all the other ponies. It would show them the direction of where she was, and help her. Vinyl was the closest, and she was running at full speed towards Amethyst and she looked at the situation, and used her magic along with Amethyst's to carry the two bodies. They quickly ran to the medical tent, which was run by Twilight.

"Twilight. We found these two, out cold, on a tree at the bottom of the hill. I think they got hypothermia!" Amethyst was panicking. She was shifting her hooves, wondering what she should do. Vinyl then tapped Amethyst's shoulder, and she looked at where Vinyl was pointing.

It was another mound! This time, it looked like one body. It was pink, and blue, and yellow.

"That's Fluttershy!" Amethyst shouted, and she galloped towards the still body of Fluttershy on a ripped piece of bark. She then saw Rainbow Dash quickly losing altitude. She was without any jacket or sweater! She in-gracefully flew to nowhere, and landed besides Amethyst. She looked at the medical tent, and quickly calculated that she could get Fluttershy to the tent, and probably get Rainbow Dash. She magically lifted Fluttershy and ran towards the tent. She gently placed down Fluttershy and went back for Rainbow Dash. She was growing paler, and Amethyst galloped as fast as she ever could and placed her down where there was room. She sat down herself, thankful for the rugs on the ground. She set her head down, and just numbly thought, so to speak. She then realized something. How could Derpy and Dinky go down the hill? She knew they were most likely to have hypothermia, so they must have been really cold, cold enough to lay stiffly, not able to push down a sled. She then looked out, one last time, and saw a rather large snowball rolling down the hill.

"What the hay is that?"
