I always wanted to be a hero and I somehow managed to become someone's hero… after I got ran over by the stupid truck. I mean why would the driver wake up and turn at the last moment from the sound of MY WHEELS SLIDING AS I WAS HITTING THE BREAKS! Ahhh...ahh...ahh… sorry about that. You see, if the guy hadn't woken up, he would of had hit the passenger side of my car that no one was in and was positioned in such a way that no one would be hurt that was not in the car or truck. I did this because the driver fell asleep and moved in just the right angle as to hit a couple elementary school kids. If my calculation was and timing was correct, the truck would my car in such a way that the momentum of my car would had moved it out of the way of the kids. The truck driver would probably have died at that moment, but I would have gotten a concussion at least and the kids would still be alive but no, we both died instead because the guy woke up and turned to thee side that I'M SITTING AND KILLED US BOTH INSTEAD! Ahh… ahh… ahh… why am I breathing heavily? I don't even need to breath at the moment since I'm a ghost. Seriously though, I can see that at least everyone that was about to be hit the truck are alright. Poor elementary school kids had to see to people die. Sadly my guess was correct, the driver of the truck was killed along side me. At least there is some form of poetic justice being done here.

Welp, now that I know everyone is safe, what now? I'm a ghost but since I have no enemies, I have no one to haunt for pay back but I want something to do at least.
"I can help you, that is if you help me..." said a mysterious and gentle, creepy since it came from nowhere, voice.
...at least its not an actual creepy voice. Its only creepy since it came out of nowhere, but it sounds really gentle and sweet.
"You will help me, how? Also how did you know I had nothing to do? Ahh… was I talking out loud?" I said. By way, my name for now is Anon. I would use my real name but if for some reason my memories are turned into some sort of show, at least people won't try to look for me, if I'm alive at least.

Wow… I get to play hero! Or guardian whichever one is all right. I just hope it's not some evil spirit. Even though I’ve been told never to trust a stranger, all I have to say is screw it I’ll yolo it.
"Okay I’ll do it! But how am I going to go there?" I ask. I don't have the power to jump dimensions so she will have to do something if she wants my help.
"Don’t worry my kind friend. With my magic I’ll bring you to my world so that we can see face to face." she said.
'To faaaaaaace' I added in my mind. Sorry, watch to much comedy cartoons. Also she said magic right? YAY! Now I get to learn how to do magic. I get the feeling that I'll screw with magic a little to much though.

A huge hole just opened up in the sky… and my body is slowly going toward it… this would be the part where I would fight against it but two things are stopping me. One is the fact that I am curious what is on the other side of it, since I know the voice was the one who opened the whole. The second reason, and more important one, is that the force dragging me is slowly getting stronger so struggling is pointless. But the force is way to slow at doing its job so let's help it by going in its direction.
Hope nothing… let's not finish that sentence that way I don’t summon Murphy, the god of making thing that you don’t want to happen happen.
So this is my life now.
Stuck in a tube of colorful lights while moving at supersonic speed.
I can tell time somewhat well and I can tell that at least two days have pass. Well, I think two days have passed. Honestly, I want to believe that I can tell time somewhat well.
One things is for sure though, this reminds me of the end of the story of the game Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure where Chaos went through the same thing. Only difference is that I’m not trapped in a magic egg or shrinking. My body is transforming though. My body now looks like a human made of ice and the best part is that it fits with the mental image of one of my imaginary armors. Did she decide to make my new body based on my memories? Thank god she didn’t decide to use any of the bodies that had personality since that would make it awkward with my team. My team is an imaginary team tonby the way. What they are… well, they were my ticket into videogame history buf i doubt exist where I'm going. I’m also glad she chose the armor closer related to nature. Had she given me my half-butterfly, half-fox humanoid form, it would also be awkward since the form was made to deal with spirits by sealing them…
If you want to know how I look in a more specific sense, my hair is now made of many icicles, my hands are now claws of ice, my legs are now cylinder pieces of ice and the rest are just average human features but with an ice color. I’m also naked. At least no private parts show since my body is made of ice making my body genderless. At least my mental gender, it being male, still exist.
A few hours have passed and I still haven’t gotten to my new home.
By the way, apparently I’m going to become the guardian of nature in the new world I'm going to. She told me a while ago. She also told me her name. She is called the Tree of Harmony. She doesn’t have a real name but the locals, or at least her favorite locals, call her that. She also gave me a rough idea of what is going on in their world. Apparently their world's Gaia was killed. For those that don’t know what Gaia is, a Gaia is the spirit of nature that stops things from going to out of control, in a natural since. Because of this and there ruler allowing them to as they please, the locals there have messed with nature in such a way that very little of nature is free or can create its free will anymore. The Tree of Harmony told me that she has tried and still is trying her best to keep at least one part of nature have absolute free will. This area is also in the place were those who mess with the natural order the most stay at.
She also told me that a Spirit of Chaos exist there as well and she told not to worry about him, after she told me he killed the past Gaia on accident. I was scared but I was told that he has calmed down thanks to the locals. It still scares me that one of the spirits of the land can kill me without meaning too and is also allowed to break what I’m supposed to protect.
At least I can see my exit now…
Well what do you know, it’s THAT Tree of Harmony. The one from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. At least I somewhat, no wait, I still have no idea who else aside from the ponies are messing with the laws of nature enough to be called a threat.
"Welcome to Earth." exclaimed the Tree of Harmony.
So Equestria exist on Earth. I kinda though the ponies would establish the land as Equis or something.
"Your mission is this… protect nature and its laws as well as give it the freedom it disserves." she continued.
Simple in context. Most likely difficult in execution.
"I want you to deal with this three threats in a harmonious way as fast as possible. I will list them from least guilty to the most guilty. The Zebras, The Dragons and… The Ponies." she said in a really hurt tone.
Ouch. Its gotta hurt to say your favorite species is the one doing bad things. At least she is smart enough to try and stop them when they do wrong. I would say something like “Why did it took you so long to summon someone?” or something like that but I bet she was looking for someone who knew a bit about her world, knew how to handle powers and had experience protect mystic laws. Thank the gods for the simulations I did in Dreamside.
"Aside from the body I gave you, sorry that I looked into your mind to choose it by the way, I’ll give you three powers, one of those powers can be shaped into whatever you want once, so tell me once you choose. Anymore than this three powers and I won’t be able to live." she said.
More than enough depending on what is given. I also have an idea of what I want the extra power to be. By the way, nice way to set up a land mind Miss Tree of Harmony. Not like I was going to ask for more than given though.
" The first power is the power to access magic. This is necessary to protect yourself from others magic by casting magic and so that the natural magic of the world won’t kill you." explained Tree of Harmony.
Yeah, I don’t want to be walking time bomb so thank you very much.
"The second power is the power to adapt depending on the circumstances. If I were to compare it with your memories, it would be something similar to that Megaman robot… thing." she continued.
T. Harmony, I applaud to you for the references and insane amount of ingenuity. Also, that power is going to be so powerful.
"The thing about the power is that you don’t get it from defeating enemies but from how well you do with your job as the Spirit of Nature." she added.
Doubt it will be that way but sure. If you don't limit the ability, may as well give up on living since it can either take all your magic and life just to give me the ability or I may become so powerful I go mad with power.
"The last power is a custom power of your choice so think about please." she finished.
Like I’m dumb enough to say ‘I want the power to fly’. Seriously, that would be a waste of a perfectly good chance at getting a broken power. Besides I had chosen one long ago. Plus it would help me out with the adaptability power even more so YAY!
