Well,
Fluttershy just woke up and is in a very awkward spot. If she moved her head, she would raise Discord's head, if she moved her back hooves she would kick Discord, and for her front legs, Discord would feel the lack of warmth at his chest. Not to mention, Discord had his paw and claw wrapped around her, so she may as well try to go back to sleep.
If anypony were around, they might have said that Discord was more part snake then they thought he was, or they might have said that they were soooo cute sleeping together!
When did this happen? Fluttershy wondered.
Fluttershy tried to think back to last night, the day when Discord arrived. First, she saw Discord arrive, and he made the breakfast buffet, then she hugged him, then... Fluttershy could not remember what happened later. She was still clueless when Discord woke up with a yawn. Stretching his arms wide, he let them fall again as he saw Fluttershy practically in his lap.
"Wh-what happened?" Discord said in a very confused tone that made him sound like he was still half-asleep.
"I-I don't know." Fluttershy blushed at their predicament, so she looked away.
"Hey Fluttershy, wh*yawn*why do you keep looking away?" Discord said in his tone.
"Umm... It's not important." Fluttershy quickly put off.
"Yes it is, I have nothing to do, so you may as well." Discord said again with his half asleep mood, so to start his day, he summoned a cup of espresso with a festive candy cane. Fluttershy decided not to question the candy cane.
"Well?" Discord sipped his coffee.
"I, I k-keep on blushing...." Fluttershy avoided his gaze as she rubbed her hoof.
"Bushing? Flushing? Fluttershy, whatever it is, you can say it now to get over with it, you know that." Discord looked at her very affectionately.
"...Okay! I'm blushing!" Fluttershy covered her face with her hooves.
"Blushing? What, did I say something embarrassing?" Discord took one of Fluttershy's hooves and put it down on his body. Fluttershy's gaze flickered towards Discord and finally said the words.
"N-no."
Surprised, Discord got more and more curious, so he turned his head toward his back where Fluttershy's head was. He asked her, "What is it?"
Sighing with defeat, she looked at him and gave Discord a clue.
"I, I could say it in clues, so, clue number one, this is very complicated." Fluttershy looked around and saw the advent calendar. "May I get up Discord? I'm a bit stuck."
"O-oh right. Of course." Discord teleported both of them off the spot they were both sleeping, which was actually the couch. How they both fit, was a mystery.
"I'm going to do the advent calendar now. Do you want this one?" Fluttershy turned her head as she was starting to walk to the corner.
"No no, I can get one myself! Or better yet, I could duplicate it." Discord snapped his fingers and a white light lit up inside door number two.
"I wonder what's inside." Fluttershy spoke aloud. She opened the tiny door and what was inside was two Hershey's kisses. One had a really dark gray and brown wrapper and the other was pink and yellow. Fluttershy realized the resemblance and asked Discord, "is this you and me?"
Discord nodded and motioned her to taste it. Fluttershy understanding, she unwrapped the wrapper and ate half of it. Fluttershy made a sound to show Discord a sign of surprise. He smiled that the chocolates were a success so he grabbed his and unwrapped it and started to eat his. Discord spat the chocolate out for his did not turn out right. Fluttershy both heard and saw this, and asked Discord something.
"Would you like half of mine?" Discord's eyebrows raised as she said this. After contemplating it, Discord decided that he should accept his roommate's kindness. So he said yes. Fluttershy gave the rest to Discord. He ate his and gave the same sign of surprise as Fluttershy did. He had intended to make it lemonade flavored, but he made this one strawberry and (no not banana) pineapple flavored. He shrugged as he took his candy cane from his coffee and pretended it was a pipe. He also summoned a monocle and top hat with a matching mustache. Fluttershy giggled at Discord's antics, she just couldn't imagine a better way to spend time with Discord. Which reminded her, to check out the window. She wiped the glass and saw again, only swirling white. She wondered why she didn't notice the winds before. Discord was just behind her, and commented on the outside while still in his "classy" accent.
"Well I see that it has not changed since we have last looked Madam Fluttershy. Perhaps it is the weather ponies, though it is too strong for their tastes I assume." Discord smirked at Fluttershy when she looked at him. He also bounced his eyebrows and continued his accent.
"It could possibly be the windigos. Those ghosty whispy horses that shall feed on hatred from others." Discord blew a bubble from his curved candy cane, which is physically impossible, but who cares, he's the being of chaos.
"Discord, didn't you place your coffee on the couch?" Fluttershy looked over to the couch which had no coffee in sight. "Where did it go?"
Discord teleported to the couch without the costume and looked at it until it was practically turned upside-down. He found it on the counter and the coffee apparently froze. He hoofed it to Fluttershy who opened her mouth in shock. She stuck her hoof inside the cup and it was, frozen solid. Discord came over and touched the cup, and it was freezing. Discord was wearing a confused expression on his face, so he spoke aloud.
"How odd, everywhere else, it is perfectly fine, but this cup of coffee, is frozen cold. Literally!" Discord then was wide eyed. He had just thought of a possible reason why this cup was cold.
"A windigo was here... Inside this house." Discord's face twisted with worry as he looked towards Fluttershy.
"*gasp!* How is that possible?! I thought you would feel cold and you would be frozen solid now!?" Fluttershy's face was confused and shocked and scared at the same time.
"I, I think what happened, was that our lo- I mean, our friendship kept us safe. If we hated each other, then we would have been frozen solid about now." Fluttershy concluded.
"You're right. But only a friendship greater than friends can hold off these kind of windigos, from my memories, these horses are the strongest kind of spirit there is, and is a much more powerful kind of windigo." Discord said.
"Wait. So does that mean," Fluttershy looked at Discord.
"That..." Discord and Fluttershy started to harmonize.
"We, are," Fluttershy and Discord raised their voices.
"In love?" Fluttershy gasped as Discord said very brightly.
"YES!" Discord cheered.
"What!? Yay!.... Why are we cheering?" Fluttershy asked Discord.
"You said that you are in love, and I am the only one around, so that claims that yooou..." Discord gestured for Fluttershy to finish his sentence.
"Huh?"
"Whatever. That yoooou love me!!!" Discord flew up to the ceiling for enthusiasm.
"*Gasp!* OOH!" Fluttershy's brain just seemed to have clicked. "You love me!"
Fluttershy flew up to Discord and kissed him on the lips. Full on the lips. Sure, Discord was surprised enough that she kissed him, but Fluttershy was even more surprised that he returned the kiss. Discord ended the kiss with a "Muah!" sound. Fluttershy hugged Discord with absolutely no care in the world, except for Discord of course.
On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me,
two Hershey's kisses,
and a great big breakfast buffet.
