The gang snuck into the throne room and saw the portal key in a glass box on a stool. "There it is.", Rainbow Dash said.
"But, it's in a glass box.", Thorax said. "How do we get it out?"
Twilight looked at the glass box on the stool. "Wait a minute.", she said. "There's no bottom of that box, you can lift it." She used her magic to pick up the glass box, there was one side missing, they used that part to make it look like the key was trapped in the box.
Rainbow Dash picked up the key with her hoof. She was about to hold the key in an open space in front of her, but, she was interrupted by Applejack. "Should we find a way to bring Spike back?"
"There's no way, Applejack.", Rainbow Dash said. "There's nothing below this island, when something falls, it's gone forever."
"I'm afraid she's right, guys.", Spitfire said.
"But, he's our friend, we can't leave him behind.", Rarity said.
"Rarity, I'm sorry, there's just no way to bring him back.", Rainbow Dash said. "The only way to get him back is to fly down there and look for him, I'M NOT DOING THAT!"
Pitch, Lightning Dust and some guards came into the room and caught them. "Aha, I knew y'all were up to something."
"Can you wake up already?!", Rainbow Dash snapped. "All those things that Lightning said about me, they aren't true!"
Lightning Dust new that Pitch wouldn't fall for what Rainbow Dash said. "It's like I said, Pitch, tat dragon was a thief.", she said. "He deserved that after what he stole from me."
"DON'T... YOU... SAY THAT!", Rarity shouted.
"Rarity, let me take care of this.", Rainbow Dash said. "Lightning, you don't spit like this, you're the bad pony."
"And I'm supposed to believe the escaped convicts.", Pitch insulted.
Lightning knocked out the guards with both of her front hooves. Pitch turned around and saw what happened. "Lightning, what's going on here?", he asked.
"What Rainbow said just now, she's right.", Lightning Dust said. "I am the bad Pegasus."
Pitch gasped. "So you're the one.", he said.
"That's right, I wanted that key so I can get my revenge on Rainbow Dash after what she did to me.", Lightning Dust said.
"Nopony messes with me.", Pitch said. "You know that, don't you?"
Lightning growled as she turned around and kicked Pitch, causing him to hang on to the ledge. Bryan took a strike at the turquoise Pegasus. "I can hold her, you save Pitch.", he said.
Rainbow Dash slid on her belly to edge and saved Pitch. She pulled him off the edge. "You alright?", she asked.
"Yes.", Pitch said. "Thank you."
They both saw Bryan tumbling backwards and fell off the edge. Rainbow Dash dropped her jaw as she watched Bryan fall into abice. Lightning Dust bucked her back hooves into Rainbow Dash and Pitch and they both fell off ledge. She smirked as she watched the two fall into the abyss. "So long, Rainbow Dash, I have too much business trying to deal with your friends.", she said.
