The guards took the gang to Pitch's throne room. Lightning and him smiled at each other.
"Give this savior this gift.", Pitch commanded.
The guard took out a basket and showed Lightning Dust what's inside of it. All there was, was just an apple.
"An apple?", Lightning said surprised. "Oh well, wouldn't deny a gift."
Applejack got jealous. "If I was the savior of this place, that should've been mine.", she said.
"Excuse me, prisoners can't talk while I'm dealing with something.", Pitch said.
"Look, pal, I don't know what's going on here, but, I'm telling you, we didn't know flying was forbidden.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Don't talk back at me!", Pitch said. "This pegasus also mentioned that little dragon friend of yours stole a key that belongs to her."
One of the guards grabbed Spike with his magic and hovered him next to Pitch.
"Hey, put him down!", Rainbow Dash commanded.
"Why should I?", the guard asked.
"He didn't steal it, he found it in the field.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I'm sorry, but, there's no such thing as a field.", Pitch said.
"You ponies never seen a field before?", Rainbow Dash asked, surprised.
"Come with me.", Pitch said. "I want to have a little chat with the rainbow Pegasus outside this room. And, guards, keep hold of the dragon."
Rainbow Dash followed Pitch outside. "So, why did you bring me out here?", she asked.
"Look over there.", Pitch said pointing at the clear area. "What do you see?"
"I see a control freak who wants to hurt my friend.", Rainbow Dash said threatened tone.
"Pretty clear.", Pitch said. "As you can see right now, nothing is below us."
"What do you mean nothing below us?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"I mean nothing is below us at all, only the void.", Pitch said as he picked up a flower. He held it in the void and dropped it, watching it as it falls down and disappears. "Once something dropped into the void, it falls forever. I'm just afraid that if they fly, they might get hurt and fall into that void. It's my duty to keep all of those Pegasus ponies safe from danger. I just want the laws to be obeyed."
"Yeah, but, don't you think that's a little unfair.", Rainbow Dash said.
Pitch glared at Rainbow Dash. "Lightning Dust warned that you were a trouble-maker."
"A trouble-maker?", Rainbow Dash asked, shocked. "I would never hurt anypony."
"She also told me that little dragon friend of yours is a thief.", Pitch said.
"But, whatever she's telling you, it's a lie.", Rainbow Dash said. "She's using you to get rid of him, me, and my other friends."
"Don't tell me that anypony uses me for something, Dash.", Pitch said. "I'm doing what I'm told to do."
They both walked back in throne room. Lightning Dust still had that evil smirk face and Spike is still being held by the guards.
"I now see that Lightning Dust is right about you and this dragon thief.", Pitch said. "Guards, the dragon, THROW HIM OFF THE ISLAND!"
The guard hovered Spike into the void and dropped him. Spike screamed as he fell into the abyss of the sky.
"NO!", Rarity screamed.
"SPIKE!", Thorax screamed. "YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH!"
You threw a dragon off a really high island, damn you!", Spitfire glared.
"Guards, throw them in the dungeon!", Pitch commanded. The guards grabbed the gang with their magic and took them to the dungeon area.
"And as for you, Lightning, you get to sleep with me tonight and we have a safe place for that key.", Pitch said to Lightning Dust.
"Thank you, sir.", Lightning said.
