//------------------------------// // No More Worries // Story: Heart Break and Lies // by SonataDusk97 //------------------------------// The school day for Sonata was certainly slow. While she did manage to keep up with up with her classes she still couldn't stop thinking about the heartache and the pain in her chest. The light blue haired siren sat with her friends but didn't interject in any conversations nor did she eat her food. Although it was left over taco's from the previous day she still didn't touch it, she didn't feel like eating. So while she was there she started on doing her assignments early. While her two companions thought there was no need for school since being alive for thousands of years, she thought education was important. While the cyan young girl may appear ditsy, she was anything but. Sonata hid her knowledge by crafting a mask so her companions wouldn't rely on her for idea's or input. She hated being under the spotlight and also being in charge, but when it came to her own life she wanted to take charge. But if I didn't hide behind this mask Aria probably would treat me with more respect than what she does, she thought bitterly to herself. The cyan siren wanted to be a teacher, but not a high school teach she found teenagers to be extremely rude. No, she wanted to be an elementary school teacher one that would teach students how to sing, play instruments, and teach them the basics of reading music. She may have lost her voice, but she was secretly taking lessons from Fluttershy. When Sonata would have the day off she would go to Fluttershy's and practice singing. She was actually doing better, even though she would mess up on a few notes, it pained her when her companions didn't even try and get their voices back they preferred to just forget about singing since they lost their gems. While she was working on her homework she was oblivious to a certain firey red haired girl sitting diagonal across from her constantly looking at her with worry. She didn't even touch her food, Sunset thought with a sigh. The bell rang which indicated that lunch was now over and time for the next class. The pale blue haired siren packed her books and headed to art class and Pinkie Pie walked next to her. "So excited for Art?" Pinkie asked in a normal chipper tone. Sonata looked at her with a smile and nodded before going back to her gloomy thoughts. The light pink girl wasn't about to let the gloomy thoughts trouble Sonata any longer, she grabbed the pale blue girl's arm comfortingly and gave a wide grin. Sonata let out a giggle, seeing Pinkie smile like that always cheered her up. "I'm wondering what were going to draw today," she said with wonder in her dark rasphberry pink eyes. Pinkie shrugged and put an arm around Sonata's shoulder. "I don't know but I'm hoping it will be portraits, after all I would draw you with your hair all curly." The pale blue girl's cheeks turned a rosey pink. Althought this morning was rough she was glad to say that the rest of her day was alright, it was better than downright terrible. It was after school everyone was returning home to do their homework, hang out with their friends, or got to work. Sonata Dusk however, was about to head back to her old home and get everything packed up before heading to Sunset's. The fear of seeing Aria their plauged her mind, but she pushed those thoughts away. She couldn't keep running away from her problems she would march into the house and not pay attention to her and get her stuff then leave. Although it sounded easier than it being done, she was plum nervous that even her stomach started to act up to her stress. Sonata walked to the direction of her home when she felt a hand touch her shoulder and Sonata jumped an inch and looked behind her to see Sunset's worried glance. "You're going to my house, remember?" the fiery girl asked worried. Once Sonata catch her breath she looked at Sunset and cleared her throat. "Yes I know, I have to get my things though." The pale blue girl could've sworn Sunset almost face palmed. "Oh yeah, that makes sense. How about I tag along? I mean to be there for you and plant a foot up Aria's ass if she tries to hurt you," Sunset said meaning what she had said. Sonata gave a warm smile and nodded and both of them walked together to the house. The walk wasn't to long, they were fairly close to the school. Sonata walked to the pourch and paused taking a deep breath and inserted her key into the slot and turned it to the left and entered the house. She had her eyes closed not wanting to see Aria, but when she opened them Aria wasn't on the couch and it made her sigh of releif. She then headed upstairs and entered her room which was a mess, a mess that she didn't create. Everything was organized and nicely cleaned, but now it was almost like the lord of chaos made a tornado in her room. Clothes were all over the floor, her plastic shelves were thrown onto the floor, her books that she likes to read were scattered, and even her ceramic sculptures were broken. "Why am I not surprised," Sonata said bitterly, she even heard a gasp from Sunset and she looked over at her to see her horror and then she was angry. Sunset marched her way to Aria's room and planted three heavy knocks that threatened to break the door down if the light purple siren didn't open up. Aria finally opened the door to see a furious Sunset shimmer she was so mad that Aria could've sworn that her hair would've burst into flames. "Uh can I help you?" she asked in usualy snarky tone. The fumming Sunset grabbed the light purrple girl by the neck of her shirt and then punched her right in they eye. "You heartless bitch! Can you not destroy her things for one bloody day!" Sunset siad through clenched teeth and Aria got up glaring at the pale orange girl before tackling her to the ground and landing a punch to Sunset's stomach, who almost vommited right there. The fiery haired girl didn't take it and managed to get her foot underneath Aria and throw her off. Aria got back up but Sunset just tackled the snarky siren back down landing punches left and right muttering curse words that were filled with hate and malice. Aria was too dazed and her vision was blurred but when the fiery haired girl stopped the once tough siren now had a large black eye, a bloody nose, she had a large bruise on her jaw, and a few brusies on her sides from the fall when she got tackled back down. Aria turned her head and spat out a tooth and Sunset stood there waiting for another round. "Get out of my room you flithy whore," Aria spat and the pale orange girl scoffed. "Wow, you're all bark and no bite. You're pathetic," she said before exciting and Sonata was all packed ready to go. Sonata then notice that Sunset was holding her stomach. "You okay?" she asked concerned. "Yeah, just got into a fight with Aria," the fiery haired girl replied. "Did you kick her ass?" Sunset gleamed and nodded, and Sonata returned the smile and both of them headed out to Sunset's house.
