Toriel smiles as Frisk and Asriel are running around the room that Chrysalis has given them to sleep in. Chrysalis leans against Toriel and smiles.
"Seems to be I have a brother and sister now." She said. Toriel smiles as she wraps a hoof around her and pulls Chrysalis close to her and nods.
"A loving mother and father, too." Asgore said as he pulls Chrysalis away from Toriel and hugs her tight. Toriel smiles as she watches frisk and Asriel run around.
"We'll make sure that everypony will get used to changelings, Chrysalis." Toriel said.
"Thank you, Toriel, I hope so." Chrysalis said, nuzzling her. Toriel nuzzles back, then has an idea.
"Hey, Chrysalis, may we have a look around the hive?" She asked. Chrysalis nods.
"You don't have to ask, especially...you know...being my mom..." She said. Toriel smiles and chuckles.
"Well, it's your hive though." She pointed out. Chrysalis smiles softly, resting her head on Toriel's shoulder.
"C-can I have a hug?" She asks, blushing. Toriel warmly smiles and nods, pulling Chrysalis into a motherly hug. Chrysalis hugs back tightly.
"Thank you for everything, mom. I shouldn't call you Toriel since it's rude to call your parents by their names..."She said, sniffing a little. Toriel's eyes widen at being called mom by Chrysalis and hugs back a little tighter.
"It's okay, my daughter." She said. Chrysalis again asks her what she asked earlier. Toriel looks at her.
"Is it okay if I ask Asgore about it to see what he thinks?" See asks. Chrysalis nodded. Toriel nods as well and leans over Asgore and whispers what Chrysalis said to her over to him, then looks at him.
"What do you think, Asgore, should we do it?" She asked. Asgore smiled and nodded. Toriel looks over at Chrysalis, smiles and nods.
"Okay Chrysalis, we agree." Toriel said. Chrysalis smiles. Toriel smiles as well as her horn starts to glow.
"I may not know how to do this, Chrysalis, but I will due my best, I've also read some of Twilights books." She said. Chrysalis nods. Toriel concentrates as a glow surrounds Chrysalis. Chrysalis' smile widens. Toriel puts more power as a bead of sweat starts to fall from her face as chrysalis starts to shrink down. Frisk and Asriel stop and watch in awe. Frisk hugs Asriel as she watched. Toriel's horn finally stops glowing as Chrysalis shrunk down to the size of a filly that is slightly bigger than Asriel. Toriel collapses on the ground breathing heavily.
"M-mom!" Chrysalis yells as she runs over and nuzzles Toriel. "M-Mom?" She sniffed. Toriel breaths heavily as sweat pours down her face as she raises her head up and warmly smiles.
"Ch-Chrysalis..." She said, before her head falls back down. Chrysalis hugs her.
"Mommy..." She nuzzles Toriel and being a filly she starts to cry. Toriel's breathing slowed as she has fallen asleep from using a lot of magic. Asriel walks towards her and looks over Toriel.
"She's asleep. She probably used a lot of magic and it put her to sleep." Asriel said. Chrysalis nods, then snuggles close to Toriel's chest. In her sleep, Toriel drapes a wing over Chrysalis. Asgore smiled softly and levitates Toriel and the foals onto the bed and lays next to them. Chrysalis soon fell asleep against Toriel. Toriel snuggles against Asgore as Asriel and Frisk snuggle with Chrysalis against Toriel's chest. Asgore softly kisses their heads. Toriel sleeps with a smile on her face as her three children are asleep soundly and peacefully against their mother. A bit later, Chrysalis wakes up, the others were asleep. She nudges Toriel with her nose.
"Mommy?" She said. Toriel's eyes open a little as she raises her head, yawning, then looks at Chrysalis.
"Chrysalis, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing." Chrysalis said as she hugs Toriel around the neck. "Th-thank you...for adopting me..." She sniffed. Toriel warmly smiles and nuzzles Chrysalis. Chrysalis sniffled as she tightens her hug. Toriel holds her lightly.
"Shhh, mommy's here Chrysalis." She said softly.
"I-I never had a mommy before..." Chrysalis sniffed as a tear slips from her right eye. Toriel wipes the tear from her eye and holds her a little tighter and looks at her with a motherly smile.
"Well, I'm glad I could be the mom you never had." Toriel said softly.
I-I-I love you!" Chrysalis barely choked out before crying. Toriel holds her close as she cries.
"I love you to, Chrysalis." She said. Chrysalis tightly hugs Toriel as she cried. Toriel lightly stokes Chrysalis's mane as she hums a soft tune, trying to calm Chrysalis down. She slowly does so and clings to Toriel. Toriel slowly stops humming and looks down at Chrysalis. Chrysalis has her forelegs around Toriel's neck, her head under her chin.
"I-I love you mommy" She sniffed. Toriel nuzzles her.
"I love you too, my wonderful daughter, Chrysalis." She said softly.
"I'm bored..." Chrysalis giggles. Toriel chuckles.
"Well, maybe we can figure something out, but probably not right now, I do have a major headache from casting that spell." She said.
"Okay..." Chrysalis sniffed as her ears droop. Toriel looks a little worried.
"Oh, come here." She said, hugging Chrysalis again. Chrysalis hugs back. Toriel lays down again and places Chrysalis next to her. Toriel nuzzles her. Chrysalis nuzzles back. Toriel lays her head and starts to fall asleep.
"Mammaaaaa!!" Chrysalis whines. Toriel's eyes snap open.
"wai-wha Chrysalis!?" She yells. She whimpers and nuzzles Toriel. Toriel nuzzles back.
"What's wrong sweetie?" She asked.
"I wanna spend time!" Chrysalis whined. Toriel warmly smiles and stands up slowly as to not disturb the others.
"Okay, sweetie." She said. Chrysalis nuzzles Toriel. Toriel nuzzles back and places Chrysalis on her back and gets off the bed. Chrysalis giggled quietly. Toriel walks out the door with Chrysalis on her back.
"Chrysalis if I may say, who's going to take care of the hive since you're a filly?" She asked.
"Well...with the love you gave them, they haven't been hungry at all since, so they'll be fine, I think!" Chrysalis smiled. Toriel nods at the point.
"That may be true, but they followed you since they were born, aren't they going to worry that you're now a filly and some may think that your not worthy to be a queen anymore?" She asked.
"Th-they'll be fine...can we not talk about this?" Chrysalis said, looking away. Toriel has a little sheepish look and nods.
"S-sorry." She apologized. Chrysalis clings to the back of Toriel's neck. Toriel looks up.
"So, Chrysalis, what would you like to do?" She asked.
"Go for a walk? I dunno, I just wanna be with you, mommy." Chrysalis said, smiling. Toriel warmly smiles and nods.
"Okay, sweetie." She said. Chrysalis smiles as she looks around. Toriel smiles as they past what looks like houses inside the walls. Chrysalis yawns. Toriel smiles as changelings stopped what their doing and point at Toriel, even come near her, but back off due to being nervous.
"Frisk seems happy about having me as a sister." Chrysalis said. Toriel smiles and nods.
"She is, which i'm very happy about." She said.
"Asriel hasn't really...taken much of a liking to me yet, though..." Chrysalis said. Toriel sighs.
"Well, he was a well, I don't know how to put this, he was...killed a thousand years ago..." She sniffed.
"Killed? How is he here, then?" Chrysalis asked tilting her head. Toriel stops as a tear falls down from her face.
"Mom?" Chrysalis asked. More tears fall from Toriel's face. Toriel sniffs as even more tears fall from her face as her head lowers.
"Mommy don't cry..." Chrysalis nuzzles Toriel. Toriel's legs wobble as horrible memories pop up as she collapses onto the ground crying as tears fall from her face.
"Mom..." Chrysalis hugs Toriel and starts to cry as well. More and more horrible memories popped up in Toriel's head, Chara's death, Asriel's death, breaking up with Asgore, etc. Toriel hugs Chrysalis as she cries. Chrysalis holds tightly onto Toriel.
"Mommmmyyy!!" Chrysalis bawled. The cry was loud enough for Asgore to here as Toriel holds Chrysalis tightly, still crying. Asgore gets up and makes his way through the changing holes to Toriel with Frisk and Asriel in tow. Asriel was looking around in confusion as Toriel was still crying as she held Chrysalis. Frisk woke up and joined in the hugging. Toriel looks up with tear stained eyes and looks at Asgore.
"A-Asgore..." She cried.
"Yes, honey?" Asgore asked, nuzzling Toriel. Toriel latches onto Asgore and cries her eyes out on him.
"It's alright honey...everything is better now." Asgore said, holding her tight. "Be happy, we have a new daughter!" He said happily. Toriel pulls away from him tears still streaming down her face.
"Momma..." Chrysalis hugs Toriel around the neck. Toriel nuzzles Chrysalis as she wipes her eyes, then hugs her. Chrysalis smiles as she tightly hugs Toriel. Toriel nuzzles her. Chrysalis nuzzles back.
"It's nice to have a mommy." She said happily. Toriel warmly smiles and nods.
"It's nice to have such a wonderful family." She said. Chrysalis clings to the front of Toriel's neck, even as she stands.
"I love you, mom." She said happily, nuzzling Toriel's neck.
"What about me?" Asgore smirked. Chrysalis giggles.
"You too, dad." She said. Toriel smiles and hugs her family. Asgore pulls them all into a tight and loving hug. Toriel Smiles and nuzzles Asgore, then looks at Chrysalis.
"Um, Chrysalis, since you're apart of our family, would you...would you mind if me and Asgore, took care of the hive for you?" She asked. Chrysalis nods, still clinging to Toriel.
"Can I go play with Frisk and Asriel, mamma?" She asked. Toriel smiles and nods.
"Go ahead." She said. She smiles, gets down and joins Frisk and Asriel who were chasing each other around. Toriel warmly smiles at them as the three of them running around happily, then leans against Asgore.
"I guess we're king and queen again, Asgore." Toriel said happily.
"Heh...of a species we don't even know how to care for." Asgore chuckled. Toriel giggles and nuzzles him.
"Even if we don't know, we'll take care of them." she said.
"Of course." Asgore said, as he notices changelings staring at them. Asriel doesn't know what to do with Chrysalis as he is looking at her. The changelings walked closer, looking at Asgore nervously. Chrysalis takes a step towards him. Asriel takes a step closer, but looks nervous. Chrysalis rushes up to him and hugs him. Asriel's eyes widen in surprise, then he hugs her back.
"D-don't be scared of me...I-I'm your sister now..." Chrysalis said, hugging him tight. Tears began to fall from Asriel's face as he lays his head against Chrysalis and hugs her tight as well. Chrysalis holds him close, nuzzling him.
"It's okay." She said. More tears fall from his face as he hugs her.
"I love you." Chrysalis wipes his tears away. Asriel hugs her tighter.
"I-I love you too, Chrysalis." He sniffed. Chrysalis turns her head to smile at Toriel and Asgore. Toriel closes her eyes as she lays against Asgore with a warm smile. Asgore nuzzles Toriel.
"Our three wonderful kids." He says as he watches as they begin running around, playing tag. Toriel warmly smiles as her three children play happily. Frisk squees with joy.
"What shall we do now?" Asgore asked as he nuzzles Toriel.
"We can't just leave these changelings alone without a queen, but we can't also leave Twilight worried as well." Toriel pointed out.
"I guess you're right..."Asgore watches the foals having fun.
"Should we...tell the changelings that we're their new king and queen?" she asked.
"Let Chrysalis do that." Asgore said. Toriel nods and closes her eyes and sighs happily. Asgore pulls Chrysalis over with his magic and hugs her.
"Hi, daddy!" Chrysalis yells happily as she returns his hug. Toriel warmly smiles at Chrysalis, then remembers something.
"Oh! I almost forgot, hey Chrysalis, I meant to ask, but why are your wings and the changeling's wings glittering?" She asked.
"I dunno." Chrysalis giggled. Toriel is slightly confused.
"Huh? I will have to ask Twilight about that." She said. Chrysalis giggles again. Toriel smiles.
"Do you think we should go and see Twilight, since we haven't seen her in a day?" She asked. Asgore nods.
"Sure." He said. Toriel smiles a little wider, then looks at her children.
"Asriel, Frisk, Chrysalis, come here, we're going to visit Twilight." She said.
"Okay!" the three of them said as they all happily gather in front of Toriel. Toriel tries to concentrate on a teleportation spell, but pain shot through her head, causing her to hiss in pain.
"Mom, what's wrong?" Frisk asked. Toriel grips her head as her headache got worse as tears fall from her face.
"My...headache..." She hissed.
"Honey...you okay?" Asgore asked as he holds Toriel close. More tears fall from Toriel's face as she leans against Asgore, her head hurting.
"I think you just need to rest, okay, love?" Asgore asks as he kisses Toriel on the head. Toriel nods, then has an idea.
"What about...Twilight, she...can probably...help...with my....headache..." Toriel pointed out. Asgore nods.
"Good point." Asgore said, nodding. Toriel nods, still holding her head in pain.
"Asgore you...may need to...teleport us to...Twilight..." She said.
"I can try..." Asgore said as he lights his horn, but the light just fades. Toriel places her horn against Asgore's.
"Here...let me...help..." She said as her horn glows. They try again, only for it to fail. Toriel puts more magic into her horn, but pain starts to shoot through her head as her headache starts to get worse.
"Let me, mamma!" Chrysalis lights her horn with ease and they all teleport to Twilight's. Toriel's horn stops glowing as she collapses onto the ground as her head is pounding as she heard Twilight gasp.
"Toriel!" Twilight yells as she rushes over to her side. Toriel breaths heavily as she moans in pain.
"Toriel, what's....wrong?" Twilight asked as she took noticed Chrysalis. Asriel walks up to her.
"Toriel used up a lot of her magic to turn Chrysalis back into a filly and she is in pain. She had a major headache." He said.
"Wait...You actually ADOPTED Queen Chrysalis!?" Twilight asked in shock. Chrysalis nods.
"Uh-huh! Toriel is my mommy now!" She beams. Toriel warmly smiles at Chrysalis, then clutches her head in pain. Asriel looks at Twilight with pleading eyes.
"Please, help my mother, please." He pleaded.
"I can of course!" Twilight said asshe casts a simple spell and Toriel's head ache is gone and Toriel earns a gentle nuzzle from Chrysalis.
"I love you, mamma." She said. Toriel nuzzles Chrysalis back and stands up, her legs wobbling slightly.
"Mommy!" Chrysalis said reaching up for Toriel. Toriel warmly smiles and picks Chrysalis up and holds her close. She looks up at Twilight.
"Thank you." She said. Toriel nodded.
"Of course!" She said happily. Chrysalis hugs Toriel round her barrel and nuzzles her neck.
"Can we go cuddle, mamma?" She asked.
"But I want to cuddle with Chrysalis!" Frisk pouts, hugging Chrysalis as Toriel held her. Toriel warmly smiles at them.
"You can both cuddle with me." She said.
"YAY!" They both say happily, hugging Toriel. Toriel wraps her arms around them and nuzzles them both as Asriel stands next to Asgore.
"Well, come inside!" Twilight moves to the side for them to enter. Chrysalis continues to cling to Toriel's Barrel.
"I love my mommy." she says softly to herself. Toriel smiles and walks inside as she keeps chrysalis and Frisk close. Once in bed, Chrysalis and Frisk curl up on top of Toriel's chest, while Asgore held onto Asriel.
"We have the most beautiful children, don't we, honey?" Asgore said, smiling. Toriel warmly smiles and nods.
"We do, Asgore. Plus another family member on the way as well." She said. Asgore nods and chuckles.
"Mom?" Chrysalis asked, looking up at Toriel. Toriel looks down at Chrysalis.
"Yes, Chrysalis?" She said.
"Thanks for adopting me." Chrysalis said as she nuzzles Toriel. Toriel nuzzles back, when suddenly pain shot through her head and she hisses in pain, clutching her head.
"Mommy what's wrong?" Frisk and Chrysalis asked in concern. Pain shot through Toriel's head.
"The headache...it's back...." Toriel hissed in pain.
"I'm going to go and get Twilight." Chrysalis gets up and runs out of the room. Toriel still clutches her head as tears fall from her face. A minute later, Chrysalis returns with Twilight.
"What's going on?" Twilight asked. Toriel whimpers in pain.
"My...head..." Toriel whimpers.
"Oh." Twilight said as she lights her horn to fix it. Toriel's facial expression softens as the pain ebbs, but was still there.
"Mommy?" Chrysalis nudges Toriel with her nose.
"Still..hurts..." Toriel said in pain. Chrysalis whimpered, hugging her.
"Momma..." She sniffed. Toriel looks at Chrysalis with pained eyes, then at Twilight.
"Help...please..." She said. Twilight tries again and puts some more effort into it this time. Toriel's facial expressions soften again, when suddenly, Toriel's eyes open, showing nothing but white as her horn causes a major flash. There was a dark room in a castle at night where Asgore slept as Toriel walks in with a old camcorder.
"Hey Asgore, say hi." She giggled.
"Hi?" Asgore asked sleepily, tilting his head. Toriel giggles.
"I just put the kids to bed and i know you like your sleep, but just just had to record this." She said. Asgore chuckles.
"Alright." He said. Toriel Smiles and gets into bed with Asgore.
"You know I know that there's probably not going to be any footage on the camera, but at least we'll still hear it. " She said. Asgore shrugs. Toriel looks at him.
"Hey Asgore, if I was a dog, you know what dog i would be?" She asked.
"I dunno, what?" Asgore asked.
"I would be a, Momeranian!" She giggled.
"I don't get it." He said as he shakes his head. Toriel giggles again and yawns.
"I'll tell you in the morning too tired." She said. Asgore pulls Toriel close and falls asleep. As Toriel falls asleep against Asgore, she was snapped back to reality. She opens her eyes and moans as everything was blurry.
"Honey!" Asgore yelled as he was nudging her with his hooves. Toriel's vision comes back as she stands up. She looks over at Asgore.
"A-Asgore, w-what happened?" She asked.
"Toriel! Y-you changed!" Twilight yells in shock. Toriel is confused as she tilts her head.
"Um, what?" She asked.
"You changed...." Asgore restated. Toriel is even more confused.
"I don't feel like I've changed, I mean i do feel a little bit more, powerful, but still feel that same." Toriel said.
"You look different, mommy!" Frisk added. Toriel looks over at Frisk.
"How do I look different?" She asked. Twilight conjures up a mirror. Toriel looks in the mirror and her eyes widen as she gasps in shock. Toriel sees herself in the mirror, but she looked much different. It seems that she has grown taller, her horn and wings have grown bigger, her once slim figure has taken a motherly figure as her mane and tail flow in a nonexistent breeze as she stares at her new reflection.
"T-This is m-me?" She asked. Twilight nodded.
"I-I-I..." Toriel's eyes roll back as she collapses onto to the ground.
"Mommy!" Chrysalis yells as she ran over to Toriel and hugs her. Toriel doesn't say anything as she breaths.
"Mommy..." Chrysalis sniffed as she nuzzles Toriel. Asriel turns into his alicorn form and carefully picks Toriel up. Chrysalis gasps in surprise and backs away in fear.
"A-asriel!" She said in fear. Asriel carefully sets Toriel down on the bed and looks at Chrysalis.
"Yes, Chrysalis, it's me." He sighs.
"You're so big!" Chrysalis yells as she backs away. Asriel looks away and sighs as he flaps his wings.
"I know, Chrysalis." He sighed. Chrysalis shakes a little, thinking some evil being has taken over him. Asriel sighs and shrinks back down to a colt and looks sad.
"I guess you don't want to be near me anymore, don't you, Chrysalis." He said. She curls up, knowing as a filly she can no longer defend herself. Asriel walks towards Chrysalis.
"Chrysalis?" He asked.
"D-don't hurt me..." Chrysalis stutters, scared. Asriel pulls Chrysalis into a hug.
"I would never hurt my sister." He said. She sniffles and hugs him back tightly. Asriel hugs her.
"I'm here, big brother is here." He said softly. She curls up into him, crying. Asriel hugs her slightly tighter.
"It's okay, your family's here there's no need to be sad." He said. Chrysalis nuzzles him, clinging to him.
"I love you big brother." She sniffed. Asriel nuzzles back.
"I love you too, little sister." He said. Chrysalis snuggles against Asriel. Asriel smiles down at her.
"I just hope that moms okay, she is different." He said. Chrysalis nods and sniffed. Asriel sighs.
"Would you, like to see my other form?" He asked. Chrysalis shakes her head.
"It's okay, I'm fine now." She said as her wings buzzing happily as she smiles. Asriel Smiles and carries Chrysalis over to Toriel and lays against Toriel's chest along with Frisk.
"I'm really happy you guys adopted me..." She sniffed. "I love you all so much." She sniffed again. Unknowing to herself, Toriel drapes one of her larger wings over her children. Asriel notices the movement and smiles.
"We love you too, Chrysalis we all do." He said. The ex changeling queen buries her face into asriel's chest, hugging him tight. Asriel is surprised by Chrysalis's hug, then smiles and hugs her back. Asriel yawns as he has fallen asleep alongside frisk as he snuggles Chrysalis. Chrysalis curls against Asriel as she too, falls asleep. Toriel curls around her three children.
"Arent they just cute?" Twilight asked Asgore. Asgore nods.
"That they are." He said. Toriel has a smile on her face as she slept.
