Sonata was happy. Her family had seemed to get their act together after she left for Duelist Kingdom, and everyone at CHS seemed to be willing to give her a second chance. And she had to thank Burst Stream for it, so the second he walked into the party that was setup for him, she gave him a hug that nearly crushed him. As they talked more, she noticed a guy come over and challenge Burst to a duel. It was not surprise that Burst won, but what was surprising was the promise that Burst made him keep. The duelist's name was Arctic Ace, and Burst had told him to tell Sonata how he felt about her. Sonata was caught completely off-guard when he walked up to her.
"Sonata, I was wondering.....would you go out with me?", Ace asked her.
Sonata was stunned, but a response soon found its way from her to Ace as she kissed him. "Of course!", she said with a bright smile.
Ace could barely contain his joy! "That's wonderful! I'm free this Friday if you are! It's a date!" As Ace walked off, Dark Magician Girl materialized.
"Sounds like you'll be with your dream girl pretty soon.", DMG said with a smile.
"Yeah.", Ace said with a slight blush on his face. He'd had an interest in Sonata ever since he first saw her. And now, he had a chance to prove it. Sonata was also thinking about Ace. She knew that her family and her didn't exactly leave a good impression since they last went to CHS. But there was something else that worried her.
'Does he really like me? Or is he just someone who's still under our spell?'
