//------------------------------// // The Fanfiction // Story: Twilight Reads a Fanfiction // by There Is Nothing Here //------------------------------// (Story 1 In the Pony Internet Series) Twilight was coming home to the library one morning carrying a large package. She entered the front door and was greeted by her little dragon assistant Spike. "Hi Twilight. Whatcha got there?" "A computer." Twilight put the package on the floor. "I'm going to use it to study, it's a lot more efficient than books." "Yea cool! Uh Twilight?" "Yea Spike?" "What's a computer?" "Spike..." Twilight proceeded to give a long complex description of what a computer is to Spike. "Uhm Twilight?" "Yes?" "English please." Twilight sighed. "Ugh, it's a little magic box that you can use to find information or play games or watch shows." "Okay. Cool! Can I use it?" "You'll have to wait until I get it all set up." Spike exited the library, ready to do whatever he had planned for the day. "Okay now. Let's get this thing set up." Twilight took the computer out of the box. Her jaw dropped as she saw all the things that were required to set this thing up. "Well, there goes the rest of my day." The lavender unicorn spent the rest of the day reading the manual and attempting to set the computer up. Night fell and Spike returned home. He walked into the library, only to see Twilight sprawled across the floor. "Should I even ask what's going on here?" "Spike. I finally set up the computer!" Twilight showed Spike the computer with pride. "Twilight? It took you all day to do that? "Yes Spike and it was worth it! Now I have an unlimited source of information." Her eye began twitching as she spoke in a very stressed out tone. Spike walked upstairs, preparing to go to sleep. Twilight simply collapsed on the floor of the library and fell asleep. The next morning Twilight woke up and checked the clock.11:30am, she had overslept, she had a lot of studying to do.The lavender unicorn stood up and walked towards her new computer. She turned it on and began exploring the wonders of the internet. She started off researching the stars and other planets. One by one she checked topics off her list as she expanded her intellect with the vast world known as the internet. Twilight checked the clock again. It was only 4pm and she had covered everything on her list. The lavender unicorn got up and began walking towards the door of the library. She stuck her hoof out to open the door, but she stopped suddenly. Curiosity had gotten the best of her and she went back to her computer. She opened up a search engine known as "Google." She began typing something into the address bar. "Twilight Sparkle." The unicorn pressed enter and clicked on the first address that came up. Apparently she had clicked on a story about herself. The title was "There Are Still Things Twilight Doesn't Know." Out of curiosity she started reading the story. As she read, she was surprised that this author knew so much about her. Was it someone she knew who wrote this? Twilight and Rarity sat on the cliff overseeing the ocean. "Twilight Dear." "Yes Rarity?" "There is something I want to show you, and don't be afraid." Rarity stood up and picked Twilight up as well. "Okay now stand here." Rarity positioned Twilight directly in front of her. She lowered her horn and.... Twilight blinked her eyes. What did she just read? She looked over again to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Yup, she had read it correctly. The unicorn kept reading to see what other horrific lies may be hidden inside this story. "Ow Rarity that hurts!" "Fine darling, I'll stop. Now here lay down on your back." Twilight reluctantly laid down on the blanket. Rarity got closer and closer to the unicorn. She opened her mouth and... Twilight was ready to throw up. What twisted kind of pony would write this stuff! "Do I dare continue reading this?" She decided to read just a little bit more, maybe she could get some insight as to who wrote this. "Oh.. Oh Rarity..." "Does it feel good Twilight? See there are some things you don't know yet. I could teach you a lot." Twilight felt relieved as she saw the last line of text in the story. As she went to X out of the page, her hoof accidentally hit the scroll button. The window scrolled down a bit and Twilight looked at her screen. She saw a picture. A picture of her... and Rarity. "Oh Sweet Celestia." Twilight grabbed the garbage can next to her and began, well I don't really have to say it do I? Rainbow Dash then burst through the doors of the library. She saw Twilight throwing up into the garbage can. She walked over to her, and then looked at the computer screen. Without a word, the cyan Pegasus exited the library. Twilight finally gained control of her stomach. She set the garbage can down, and went upstairs to take a nap and hopefully get those horrifying images out of her head. She laid down in her bed, and closed her eyes. She began to see something in her mind. Rarity was leaning towards her and began to open her mouth. Twilight instantly sat up. "AHH! Get away from me!" She looked around her. No pony was there. "Oh dear those images are going to haunt me forever." After a long time of calming herself down, Twilight laid back down again, and attempted to cleanse the images from her head with a nice long nap. It was 8pm. Twilight was still sleeping. Spike walked into the library. He noticed Twilight sleeping. "Well if she's sleeping. I guess there's no harm in playing just one game on the computer." Spike sat down at the desk and moved the mouse. The screensaver disappeared and Spike stood with a blank expression on his face. He saw the same picture that had scarred Twilight before. He got up off the chair, still not saying anything. He walked upstairs and muttered softly. "Nope." The next day, Rarity entered the library ready to wake Twilight up. They had plans to go gem hunting today. She stood by her bedside and shook the lavender unicorn. Twilight abruptly sat up, looked at Rarity and yelled... "Ahh no stay away from my -------!!!" Rarity jumped away in shock. "Twilight!" She looked at Rarity for a minute and muttered to herself. "Oh shit..."
