Chapter Two: School Daze
"Girls, breakfast time!" Granny Smith called up the stairs.
Milliseconds later two blurs ran by her. The two fillies now sat at the breakfast table. To this, Granny Smith just giggled. It had been a month and the family quicker than anypony expected.
"Eat up kids, we're leavin' for school in ten minutes." she said as she sat down at the table.
Sure enough, fifteen minutes later they arrived at the school house. Their teacher, Miss Sharpener, was standing at the door with a kindly smile on her face.
"Hello Mac, girls," she greeted, "How are you, Granny Smith? Nice to see little Apple Bloom again."
"Ah'm good, just walkin' em ta school before Ah take lil' Apple Bloom for her check up." the elderly mare said smiling, "Have a nice day at school kids!"
"We will!" the two fillies responded simultaneously before running into the school house.
"Eeyup." the red colt said before following them in.
Ring! Ring!
The final bell had rung and all the foals dashed out to meet their family members. Whether it was an older sibling, a parent, an aunt or a grandma every kindergarten, first and second grader needed to be escorted home by one. Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash were no exception.
Normally, Mac would walk them home but he had math club today. Instead Granny Smith and Apple Bloom were waiting outside the school house.
"Hey girls, how was school today?" the green mare asked.
"Awesome! We learnt about how Equestria was made!" the cyan pegasus exclaimed gleamingly.
"And Family Appreciation Day is this Friday so we were wonderin' if ya could come talk ta our class." her orange companion requested.
"Ah will if Ah can find a babysitter for you're lil sis." their grandmother agreed knowing all to well she was the only one who would be able to.
"Thanks, Granny Smith!" the blond filly exclaimed, thanking her grandmother for agreeing.
"Yeah, thanks!" her rainbow maned companion with just as much enthusiasm as her sister.
"Thanks again for agreeing ta watch her on such short notice, Nurse Redheart." Granny Smith thanked the white nurse pony as she handed her youngest grandchild over to her.
"Don't mention it! I'm happy to help! Now you better hurry so you're there in time to present." the pink maned earth pony told her kindly.
"Oh, you're right! Ah gotta run!" the green mare said before galloping as fast her old legs could carry her.
"...And that is how Ponyville was founded!" the old mare said happily as she finished her story.
Everypony in the school house applauded her.
"Thank you, Granny Smith, for that wonderful story!" Miss Sharpener thanked her before the sound of two rings shattered the air, "Class dissmissed, no homework for over the weekend!"

Sisterhooves Social: Deleted Scene
"Wish I could have been there but I had to prepare for a storm tonight." Rainbow told her orange sister.
"Ah understand Rainbow, but ah still wish ya could of been there ta see it." her companion said.
"Well, it wouldn't be the first time you got an adoptive sister." the cyan pegasus reminded her, gaining a chuckle from both of them until Rainbow looked up at the sky, "AJ, you really should getting back to the farmhouse."
"Why don't ya come by for dinner? It feels like its been years since ya have come ta the house." she suggested.
"Sure, just let me tell the pegasi doing the storm their directions and I'll be right over." the rainbow maned pegasus said before dashing up to a group of pegasi AJ presumed were in charge of the storm.
