all the sudden out of nowhere, the portal opened
My friend who was currently on the ground, got up to greet us "hey girls! Long time, no s-" she looks in front of her, for not ten feet away is her interdimensional counterpart. They just stared at each other for about thirty seconds before they both blinked.
"ARE YOU MY TWIN!" They said in unison. I got the feeling they were both the most confused they've ever been. I just sat there watching as my friends both acted as if they were mirrors. Meanwhile, my other friends were all laughing at the scene in front of us.
"This is amazing. They are both in perfect sync, yet they are almost completely different" said the purple haired girl who's name is rarity.
"I know right. I mean, the only thing they share is the love for studying and reading, yet everything they do is in perfect sync" I said. Honestly, I knew this might happen if they met each other, but I kept them both in the dark about each other. I wanted to surprise the interdimensional twin from this world with not telling her about her interdimensional twin. After a while I got up and separated them or they would have been stuck mimicking each other for days.
"Glasses twilight, this is your interdimensional twin from my homeland. From now on when she is around" I pointed toward my friend who came through the portal, "you will be know as princess twilight and you" I pointed to the other one, "will be called either four eyes or science twilight, or for short, sci-twilight" they both nodded and then sat down and started eating.
"So..." The princess began "I have got to say that I am honestly surprised with meeting my interdimensional twin. It's not everyday that someone meets their own interdimensional counterpart. I've got to learn more about this." She stated with a mouth full of food.
"Yeah. Hey sunset, your from that world too, right? Have you ever wondered if you even have your own twin?" I choked on my food at the thought of that. Maybe she was right. Maybe there is an interdimensional twin of me somewhere. I'll have to look around but I at least know where to look for her.
As we sat there eating, her question finally bothered me more and more, until I finally said "twilight, I need you to help me find my twin in this dimension. I know where to look for her but I don't want to go alone. Will you please come with me to find her?" I really needed her help with this one.
"Well, I've got school so probably not" she said.
Then the princess spoke up "I can help you if you want! I too want to meet your twin. Besides, this could help with my interdimensional research project for how to work with the portal and what it can and can't do" she half squealed.
"Whatever. After this picnic we're going to go back to my place to get packed because it's at least a day away by train" I said. We all finished our food and then twilight and I said goodbye to everyone and walked back to my place.
The walk back home was a rather quiet one, so I decided to speak up. "Hey twilight, what did you think of me surprising you with your interdimensional counterpart?"
"Well, actually I was a bit confused at first ,but now that we are talking about it, I think it's kind of funny and in a way, weird" she calmly replied.
"I know. I actually planned this just to see how you'd react. As expected, I got the exact same results I thought I would" I said. I then realized that we walk about two houses down from my house so we walked back and went inside.
"H-hey sunset, um, I don't want to sound weird and get into your business but do you like me or sci-twilight? I'm, im just kind of curious." She whispered as she sat down on my couch. I wondered if there was a blush on my face as she asked that. I glimpsed out of the corner of my eye to see her blushing a little bit too.
"Well, twilight, Im gonna be honest. I really don't know who I like, boys, or girls. However I do think you are both kind of cute when you blush"I replied.
"W-what! I wasn't blushing!" I loved how she got all flustered up there.
"Yeah you were, don't lie to me!" I pounced onto her and started tickling her.
"Oh mY God, stop it, please!" She howled. I just would not stop until finally, she jumped off the couch and ran to the other side of the room. She was still laughing and she was also blushing.
"Hey I see that blush!" I giggled. She nodded no and I finally said "enough play, now let's go get ready" we walked upstairs to my room and I pulled out a suitcase.
"We are going to need clothes so twilight, I want you to get the clothes. We'll need three sets of clothes. In the meantime I'll go to the bathroom and then get all the bathroom stuff we'll need for the trip" I walked out of my room and to the bathroom down the hall. I quickly pulled my pants down and went to the bathroom. After that I speedily grabbed all the bathroom stuff we needed and walked back into my room.
Twilight was in the closet where she wasn't able to see me so I decided to sneak up on her. I tip-toed right up behind twilight and she screamed so loud that it rivaled one of pinkie pie's screams. Then, she turned around and glared at me.
"That's not funny sunset! You scared me!"she kind of pouted.
"Of course it was. Now, let's see what you have gotten out" I looked at the suitcases on the bed. They were both already filled.
"Huh. You got done quick" i looked out my window to see the sun setting, no pun intended."well twilight, we should stay here for tonight. It's getting dark" I went over to my dresser and pulled out two pairs of pajamas. One of which I had forgotten had something blue hidden in them.
I unfold my PJs and started putting them on when I suddenly heard a loud thud and looked over to see my blue thing on the floor. I knew instantly that twilight would art asking questions about what it was so I immediately chucked it back into the drawer.
"What was that thing sunset?"she asked. I internally pace palmed.
"It was a special girl thing for certain stuff" i blushed "I might show you how to use it one day and maybe you can use it"I went back to the drawer and pulled out my girl toy and decided to put it in the suitcase just in case.
We finished getting dressed and we both lied down in bed and twilight quickly fell asleep. "So much for trying to tell her to sleep on the floor"I thought. I rolled over and went to sleep.
