Allegro and Summer were fast asleep. Summer's hair was covered her entire face after taking it out her ponytail the night before. Allegro was holding on tight to her wand. In the middle of their slumber, the phone started to ring.
"Allegro, go get the phone!"
"No! I want to sleep, you already woke me up early yesterday!
"It's 6 am, Allegro."
"It's still too early for me!"
"Fine, I'll answer it. Hello?"
"Hi, this call was pre recorded to remind you that check out is at noon tomorrow. We hope you enjoyed your stay here and you come back soon. If you would like to hear the message again press one. If you want to talk to someone at the desk about this press two. If you want to hang up press three." The recording said as Summer hanged up.
"Um, Allegro? We have to checkout tomorrow at noon."
"WHAT?!"
"I just said you have to checkout at noon tomorrow."
"NO! NO! It can't be that time."
"Why are you so picky on the time?"
"Ruby and Mezzo can still get me! I need to stay here at midnight to be a hundred percent sure that I won't be harmed."
"Ruby and Mezzo are still in the future, they can't get to you even if they wanted to. Also doesn't your family have a restraining order?"
"Yes my family does have a restraining order. But, Ruby is still out for revenge and a restraining order isn't going to stop her. As for Ruby and Mezzo "not" being in this time period. Hello? We live in a time period where time travel is possible!"
"Yeah, but there is no way they know exactly where you are at all times."
"You've got a point."
"Good. Now, in a couple hours, we are going to get Twyla and Periwinkle, and we are going to ask nicely if they would let us stay here until midnight tomorrow."

At 9 AM that day Allegro, Summer, Twyla and Periwinkle head down to front desk and ring the service bell. Sunny Flare is seen walk up to the desk with an annoyed look on her face.
"Allegro, if you want something call for room service. You don't need to bother...." Sunny said.
"That's not why I'm down here."
"Okay, then why are you down here."
"I need my checkout time to be changed to midnight."
"I'm sorry, but I can't change the checkout time."
"What?! Why?"
"It's the hotel's policy. We can't break it. The policy states that all checkout times are at noon. I can let you stay another day, since you have more money, but the checkout is still at noon."
"No! I can't do that either."
"Well, I'm sorry. I can't do anything else to help you."
"It's okay. Thanks anyway!"
The four girls walked out of the hotel and headed downtown.
"Um, Allegro. If you're so worried about being harmed why didn't you stay another day?" Twyla asked.
"I couldn't do that. My mom will be home from her business trip in Europe, early Monday morning. And if she finds out I used time travel, I'm so dead!"
"Couldn't you just time travel to earlier that day?"
"Wow, you don't pay attention to how time travel works, Twyla. It's pretty obvious that you can only time travel to the same day and time, but you can go to any year. I thought you would be the person to pay attention during science class." Summer replied.
"I was sick the day, when we talked about time travel. I don't get how you could forget that."
"But, didn't you copy my notes? Also you got an A on the test over it."
"Yes, I did. As for the A on my test, I had to study a week for that test."
"Wow, I guess you also don't remember how magic works in other time periods?"
"That I remember, because my mom taught it to me. How it works is it the magic remains in effect even if you are in different time period. Example, Ruby can still get Allegro even if she is the past, as long as it is before midnight on Sunday."
"And that goes hand in hand with how time travel works."
"Okay, can you guys stop?! Thank you for putting more importance on this issue then there needs to be. Now let's go hang out at an awesome restaurant." Allegro interrupted her friends' fight.
"We still need to grab my journal!" Summer told her.
"Okay, Summer. We will make sure to grab your journal."

Back at Adagio's house, she is still sleeping with her comforter over her head. Out of nowhere, a knock is heard at her bedroom door.
"Hey, Adagio! We need to get going. It's 9 AM." Sunset says from outside her door.
"Let me sleep for ten more minutes." Adagio replied half awake.
"You said that an hour ago when we first got here." Sci-Twi added.
"Yeah, well we aren't in a hurry." Adagio added still half awake.
"Adagio, we really want to get going to figure this out. Who knows where they are now?" Sunset insisted.
"Fine!" Adagio replied getting out of bed.
Sunset and Sci-Twi waited for Adagio for another ten minutes. She finally came out wearing a plain purple shirt, a lavender skirt with multiple prints of her cutie mark, purple converse, and the same necklace gold topaz necklace she wore the day before.
"Okay, I'm ready let's go."
