Shy Surprise

It was just a few hours after the sun had been raised that Fluttershy had crashed in through Rainbow Dash’s door quickly closing it with her back up against the doorand breathing deeply. Rainbow Dash had shot up from her bed.

“I’m so sorry Rainbow Dash. I just needed to find a place to go to so badly?” Fluttershy said as she brought her mane down over when one of her eyes.
“Ugh, let me guess, Discord?”
“Yes.”
“You know he could find you at anytime right?”
“I know, but it will take him a longer… I think,” Fluttershy responded as she trotted over to on window closing it shut. Rainbow Dash sighed and remained in bed a little bit.
“Alright, we'll go up to Cloudsdale just let me get myself together,” Rainbow said as she got herself from off the bed. Fluttershy took a seat on the puffy cloud board as she watched her to glide over and take her towel by the teeth. Rainbow than hovered over into the shower.
Fluttershy had looked over to Rainbow’s wonderbolt suits while she hummed her usual sweet tunes. At first, she didn't think much of them. They were nothing more than the clothes she wore. However, the thought of being in love with Rainbow Dash entered her mind. She quickly looked away from the clothing.
“Why am I thinking these.. thoughts?” Fluttershy said her moved to a portrait of Rainbow Dash staring into her eyes. She couldn't help but to stare into her beautiful raspberry eyes. Her face began to flush red and wasn't sure why all of sudden she had the feelings for Rainbow Dash. She then got up and trotted over to her bed. She then stood and began smelling Rainbow’s morning aroma.
“Oh my,” Fluttershy said as she sniffed up Rainbow’s beautiful and strong aroma. She couldn't understand why she loved it, but she did. It was a smell that couldn't leave her nose. Rainbow Dash had walked in the room with her towel around her neck. She noticed Fluttershy by her bed and became curious.
“Umm, Fluttershy, why are you standing by my bed?” Fluttershy quickly turned around and backed away from the bed with her cheeks blushing a shade of pink. Rainbow Dash had a relaxed expression as anypony would from getting out from good morning warm shower. Fluttershy couldn't help but to behold the beauty and sexiness of her dear friend.
“What?” Rainbow said as she took her towel off and through it onto her bed. Fluttershy’s face was almost frozen in time staring at her. Rainbow, concerned, walked up to her a hoof length from each other. She looked into her beautiful cerulean blue eyes.
“Fluttershy.”
“Huh?” Fluttershy responded. She unconsciously stepped forward into Rainbow Dash and they accidentally kissed. Fluttershy and Rainbow had stepped away from each other abacked by what they both experienced.
“Eep!” Fluttershy yelled up her face flushed with a darker shade of pink. Rainbow Dash had gotten up from the ground her heart pounding fast. She looked at Fluttershy. Her mouth was open at loss of words at what she felt.
Fluttershy was not any different in her feelings to what had happened. She wanted to move forward with confessing her feelings to Rainbow Dash, but she was lost at whether to say them aloud or that something may happen that might bring this strange moment to pass. Fluttershy couldn't take the silence, so she looked away embarrassed at what she had done.
“I'm sorry.”
“Heh heh, don't be, we all have our moments” Rainbow Dash said with smile. Fluttershy looked back relieved that she didn't take it the wrong way. Rainbow trotted to her and gave her a hug. Fluttershy’s muzzle was along Rainbow’s smooth and colorful, half dried mane. It remind her of her pet snake back at the shed. The smooth texture was what she loved about petting it. Although not the same when it came to Rainbow’s mane, it still made her comfortable as her muzzle was against her mane.
“Sorry about my mane. I usually.. you know, blow dry my hair to get it to fully dry,” Rainbow Dash said. Fluttershy brought her hoof up behind Rainbow Dash’s neck, and she had chuckled for a bit as her face was painted with her true feelings for Rainbow Dash. Rainbow had slighted blushed and then was confused at why she was crying.
“Fluttershy.. why are crying?”
“I'm.. I'm not crying,” Fluttershy said as she moved away from Rainbow’s embrace. She snuffled as she wiped away her eyes. She looked at Rainbow Dash whose ears had flopped down ever more concerned about her.
“I'm happy,” Fluttershy said, “I.. I.. just don't know how I could ever tell you this without sounding weird, but..” Fluttershy paused, looking at Rainbow Dash and looking away.
“..But what?” Rainbow Dash said as she used her wing to scratch the back of her head.
“I.. I love you Rainbow Dash. There, I said it,” Fluttershy had said still with her eyes away from whom she expressed her feelings to. Rainbow trotted closer and put a wing under her chin guiding Fluttershy’s focus back to herself. Fluttershy began to blush heavily upon not knowing what to do next.
“I love you too Fluttershy, but let's go before Discord shows up. I'm surprised he didn't show up yet,” Rainbow had said as she opened the door. Fluttershy turned around beside her and kissed her on the cheek. Rainbow’s eyes widened while blushing away in response.
“Fluttershyyy? Not in public. I'd like to, you know, keep are relationship low for a bit.” Rainbow said as she exited the door.
“Oh. Right.” Fluttershy said with a smile.
