//------------------------------// // I Want It, It's Mine Now // Story: Celestia Orders a Funko Pop // by Aqua Drops //------------------------------// Celestia ripped open the large cardboard box and levitated a smaller, more colourful box out of it. She checked it all over and beamed when she saw the contents. "What's that?" Her sister asked curiously, peering over her shoulder. Celestia ripped thing out of the box and showed it to Luna, grinning. "It's a Funko Pop!" She said, clearly pleased that someone had asked. "Isn't it amazing?" Luna didn't have the reaction she'd been expecting. "What's a Funko Pop?" She asked, frowning, as if she genuinely didn't know what it was. Celestia rolled her eyes at her sister's stupidity. Who didn't know what a Funko Pop was? "This is a Funko Pop!" She levitated it in front of Luna. "I ordered it ages ago. It came yesterday, but with all the mail us princesses get, I didn't get to open it until today. Isn't it great?" Luna was inspecting the figure and staring at its face. After what seemed like ages she said blankly; "It's you." Celestia could have face palmed. "Of course it's me! Who else would I get?" Luna stared at her like she was the stupid one. "If they make Funko Pops of you, then do you think they would make them of me?" She said slowly, talking like she was talking to a very young filly. Celestia thought about this. "Well I'm sure they would, well, not that sure, but I think that they would, you know, them being collectibles and all..." "I want it, it's mine now." Celestia could barely do more than blink in surprise as Luna darted out of the room with her Funko Pop. "Hey," Celestia said, surprised. "Luna! That's not yours!" "It is now!" "Wha- but I-" Celestial shook her head. "Luna!" She paused, listening. Did Luna just blow a raspberry at her? Her eyes narrowed. That's it! She charged out the room. Celestial galloped down the hallway, furiously looking for Luna. "Luna!" She yelled angrily. They both knew that Luna was faster and more agile, but Celestial knew she was much smarter than her younger sister. She lit up her horn and used her magic to help her to run faster. "Give it back!" Celestial hollered, but her eyes widened as she realised — too late — that she was running towards a dead end. CRASH! Celestia sat up in a pile of splintered wood, dazed and angry, and shook her head. Two guards stared at her, dumbfounded. "Where is she?" She gasped, rubbing her eyes. The room was spinning, making it very hard to focus on anything. "Which way did she go?" The two guards pointed in different directions and stammered something. Celestial growled angrily and tried to fly past them but she was still dazed and flew backwards into the wall. Ouch. Coming to a few seconds later, she realised she was alone with her horn stuck in the wall. The guards must have fled when she knocked herself unconscious. Cowards, she thought angrily as she tried to get her horn out of the hole she had made. She wiggled her horn around until the space around it was big enough to use magic. Celestia then tried to track Luna down with her magic but instead she sensed another uncanny presence nearby. "Hoho, Celestia, I simply must get a photo of your position right now! What do you think Twilight will say if she sees you upside down on the wall with your hooves stuck in the ceiling and your horn in the wall?" Celestia growled through her teeth as she desperately tried to get her hooves free. "Discord, which way did she go?" Discord put a claw to his chest. "Why Celestia, you want to know where Lulu went with your little Funko Pop? Do you think I would rat on poor little Luna like that?" Celestia, who didn't even bother to ask how he knew all this, just glared at him. He continued, unfazed. "And, Celestia! I did not think of you as one to play with dolls!" "They're not dolls, they're collectibles!" Celestia roared, unable to take it any more. "And my, if only Luna heard about this! Her almighty, grand and powerful sister knocked herself out on a palace wall! Ridiculous!" Discord ignored Celestia's growing anger. In fact, he seemed to be taking advantage of her position to make her angrier. "If only somepony would go up and tell her..." "Don't you dare!" Celestia yelled, thrashing her head around and finally getting herself free. She flew down the hallway almost too exasperated to hear Discord's next remark; "Why, Celestia, what a temper! Maybe you hit your head a bit too hard." Celestia charged through the palace. She didn't know where she was going, she only knew that Luna had her Funko Pop and she was going to get it back. Now that she was free from the wall, she tried the tracking spell once again. Ok, so the spell seems to be leading me to the...to the roof? Well I guess she could have flown up there but still... Celestia started to make her way outside but then she felt the spell tugging her somewhere else. Wait, she's in two places? That can't be right... Wait... Oh no, she's laid false trails...great... Oh man. She should have figured Luna would try to pull something like that. All that time she hadn't been looking where she was flying. A blue unicorn was right in front of her. She couldn't do anything but brace herself for impact as she smashed into the mare. The other pony was the first to pick herself up, muttering grumpily as she did. "The Great and Powerful Trixie should not have to put up with idiotic mares like this," she said, sternly looking down at Celestia. Then she seemed to realise who she was talking to. "Oh my goodness Princess Celestia!" She said quickly, pulling the confused princess to her hooves. "That was quite a fall. You're lucky you had the Great and Powerful Trixie there to help you up!" Fireworks blasted out from behind her as she said 'Trixie' and she stood up on her hind legs. Celestia gave her a why-am-I-putting-up-with-this look, hoping she'd take the hint and get lost. Trixie didn't take the hint. "I am the Great and Powerful Trixie! Maybe you've heard of me?" Celestia began to walk at a brisk pace, trying to lose her. "Have you heard about the time I vanquished an Urser Major from a poor helpless little village?" Trixie had to hurry to keep up with Celestia as she tried to escape from the vain mare. Urser Major... Celestia suddenly knew who this annoying mare was. "Or did you hear about the time when I defeated a manticore after he swallowed me?" "I heard about the time when you kicked my student out of her town and took over Ponyville," Celestia interrupted, cross that she couldn't outrun this pathetic unicorn. "Oh yes, but that was when I was being controlled by something evil," Trixie answered, emphasising the word 'evil'. "But I was strong enough to overcome it and I saved the day!" Celestia gave a growl of frustration and shot away from Trixie at high speed, flapping her wings as fast as she could. Trixie stuck her nose in the air. "Well I never!" She huffed, and turned to walk away, and was immediately knocked over by Luna who came rushing past with Celestia's Funko Pop. "Luna!" Celestia yelled, following her sister. "Luna, give it back!" "Give what back?" Luna asked, tilting her head. "Give my...! My, uh..." Celestia found she had forgotten what they were fighting over. She racked her brains trying to remember what her sister had taken. "My...that's it! My Funko Pop!" She looked down at Luna triumphantly before she realised that Luna wasn't there. Her face twisted angrily. Celestia was about to resume the chase when she was stopped by an orange pegasus wearing sunglasses. "Princess," she said, taking off her glasses. "The Wonderbolts have a practice session arranged tonight. I was just wondering if you wanted to attend?" Celestia barely had time to process what she had said before her thoughts flitted back to Luna. "Not right now, Spitfire, I've got business I have to attend to." Celestia couldn't waste time with the Wonderbolts, not when Luna had her precious Funko Pop! "What sort of business?" Spitfire started to say before being interrupted by a shout from across the rooms. "Bet you can't catch me!" Celestia hissed through her teeth and galloped after her arrogant sister. Spitfire blinked. "So that's a, uh, maybe on the session?" Celestia shot after Luna like an arrow. She followed the sound of her mocking voice. I will get it back! she thought furiously. Even if I have to send her to the moon again, I will get it back! She turned and then she saw Luna pressed up against the wall. Celestia had her cornered. She had ran into a wall (quite embarrassing), knocked herself unconscious (even more embarrassing), been tormented by Discord, harassed by Trixie, distracted by Spitfire and she still didn't have her Funko Pop. Celestia was about to threaten Luna to give it back but her sister surprised her by asking; "Do you want your Funko Pop back?" She blinked. Whatever Celestia had been expecting, it wasn't that. "Of course I want it back!" She spluttered. "Do you think I would knock myself out if I didn't want it back?" A smile twitched on Luna's lips. "You knocked yourself out?" "Just give me it," Celestia growled impatiently. Luna passed it to her. Celestia stared at it. It had been painted, by magic by the looks of it, and it was now an exact replica of... "LUNA!!!"
