//------------------------------// // (8) Trouble // Story: The Phoenix's Family // by Script Singer //------------------------------// The next morning Philomena flew out with her family. After a short flight she noticed the sun turned black, then into the moon. "Luna..." she thought. "Philomena, is something wrong?" her mother asked. "Celestia is in trouble." Philomena responded. She thought for a moment. As she was thinking she saw a beam of magic come out of the roof. "I'm sorry, but I have to help her." She flew towards the castle. Another beam hit the roof. She flew faster. She saw Celestia fly out from the hole in the roof, followed by a dark mare. The mare shot a beam of light toward Celestia, but she dodged the attack. The mare continued shooting, Celestia kept flying, and Philomena kept flying faster to help her. But she was not fast enough... A beam hit Celestia. Her scream echoed in Philomena's ears. "Celestia!" she yelled. She flew even faster to get to her. She watched her fall as the mare laughed an evil laugh. Philomena flew to Celestia. She landed by her side. "Celestia, I'm sorry..." she said quietly. "I'm so sorry... Please, be okay..." she cried. Celestia slowly got up. "You're okay!" she chirped. Celestia looked at the moon. "Oh, dear sister, I am sorry, but you have given me no choice, but to use these." Celestia called. She opened a door in the floor, causing it to bring objects on a statue. "The Elements of Harmony..." Philomena whispered. "Luna..." Celestia flew up to the statue and levitated the objects. They surrounded her, creating a bright light to surround her. She flew up to the sky, finding the mare. The mare's eyes glowed. The mare shot a beam. With tears in her eyes, Celestia fired her horn. The two beams created a bright light. Philomena watched with an unhappy feeling growing in her heart for Luna. The beam grew closer to Luna. "Nooooo!!!" Luna cried as the light enveloped her. The beam sent her straight to the moon, causing a unicorn like shape to form across its surface. Celestia flew to the ground, Philomena following her. Tears filled Celestia's eyes. "I'm sorry sister, but it had to be done." she cried. "I'm so sorry, Celestia." Philomena said sadly. She cuddled with her as Celestia cried for her sister and brought forth the sun.
