"Wait what?" Twilight asked in confusion.
"My code of honor dictates that if one should defeate me on the field of battle I must follow them for one moon." explained navnik ixen raising to his feet.
"Well now that's out of the way, we should get back to town." Applejack stated, picking up her rope and placing it in her bag.
"If it is her wish." navnik ixen responded motioning his hand toward Twilight.
"Well, while we're here we could clean up a bit more." Twilight stated cheerfully.
"If that is your wish then I would like to continue my studies." navnik ixen stated if a calm, flat tone. Staring at him Twilight nodded in approval.
Mumbling to himself navnik ixen raised his hand with a shadowy mist forming, then solidifying to form an black and red shield in his left hand.
"Heya!" Pinke Pie yelled startling navnik ixen. Jumping up navnik ixen riased his shadow shield and prepared a magic blast.
"By the blood of my ancestors!" he yelled at Pinkie. Calming down, the shield disapated "sorry miss uhh..., sorry but I never got your name." he stated in his normal, calm tone.
"Oh silly me, I'm Pinkie Pie but you can just call me Pinkie." Pinkie replied cheerfully.
"Very well Miss. Pie." navnik ixen replied.
Coming up the stairs Twilight entered the room, shocked to see Pinkie reading though a book. "Well this might be the first time anypony got Pinkie to read a book." Twilight stated in astonishment.
"Miss. Pie is simply looking though some recipes I found in these ruins." navnik ixen stated looking up from his book.
"Well we're about to head back to town." Twilight responded. Getting up navnik ixen started packing his bag, nodding in a silent response.
"Okie dokie." Pinkie said jumping down the stairs. Chuckling to himself navnik ixen continued packing his bag.
"Might I know your names" navnik ixen asked on the way out of the castle.
Looking at him Twilight spoke up "well you met Pinke already." she stated pointing to th jubilant pink mare. Pointing at Applejack "and that's Applejack.".
"Nice to meet ya." Applejack spoke up "and this is my son Golden Delicious." patting Golden on the back. navnik ixen looked over his shoulder, not breaking his pace.
Pointing to her left Twilight continued "this is Rarity, and her children Crystal Clareity and Torquise." she stated pointing to the green stallion as well as a pale white mare and a light purple mare beside her.
"Hybrids tell me, are treated any differently here?" navnik ixen spoke up curiously.
"Well not really darling..." Clareity spoke up before being cut off by her brother.
"Except for some of the all high and mighty noble ponies around town." Torquise stated furiously.
"I see." navnik ixen mumbled.
Pointing to her right Twilight continued carefully "and finally the shy mare is Fluttershy and beside her is Rainbow Dash.".
"Um..., hi." Fluttershy said quietly.
"And this little speedster is Prism Bolt." Dash stated firmly.
"Yes, sir crash-a-lot I've met him, not to mention he knocked me to the ground." navnik ixen stated with a slight chuckle.
They continued in silence for what seemed like hours. "Well here's Fluttershy's cottage." Twilight stated with a slight yawn. Returning to town the mares all went home wile Spiritfire walked beside Twilight.
"I never got your name." navnik ixen spoke up breaking the silence.
Stammering Twilight responded slapping her face "I'm so, so sorry I'm Twilight Sparkle.". Nodding navnik ixen walked on in silence. After a few minutes the duo came to Twilight's castle.
"So this is the crystal structure I saw before." Spiritfire spoke after a good five minutes.
Opening the door Spike a small, green and purple dragon smiled and cried out "Twilight you're back, I was getting worried!". Looking confused Spike whispered something in Twilight's ear as she bent down. Giggling Twilight explained the presence of Spiritfire.
