The bell rings and everyone runs out relieved that school was over for the day and I follow behind,
I look over to the tree I got told to meet at and see the little white filly standing there waving to me,
I trot over to greet her.
"Hi Button" says Sweetie.
"Hi" I say.
"So you ready to go and get some milk shakes" says Sweetie.
"Yeah ok, let's go" I say.
Sweetie smiles and we start to walk to Sugar Cube Corner.

'Come on Button, say something to her, were almost at Sugar Cube Corner, come on think, oh I know'
"So, do you have any hobbies"
'Perfect, good job me'
"Well yeah, but no one knows about it except Rarity, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo" says Sweetie Belle.
"Oh, is it ok if I know, I won't tell anyone, I promise" I say.
"I don't know...." 'come on Sweetie, change the subject'
"What's your hobby" says Sweetie.
"Oh, well, if I tell you, do you promise not to laugh" I say.
"Ok" says Sweetie with an eyebrow raised.
"Well my hobby is to play video game" I say in a sad tone getting ready for the filly to laugh at me.
"Cool" Sweetie says.
"Wait, you didn't laugh, whenever I told any pony that they would just laugh" I say.
"Well then they must be really selfish ponies, I reckon that's a nice hobby" says Sweetie.
"Wow" I say with a chuckle, "so what about your hobby, please tell me"
"Ok Button, I trust you" Says Sweetie in a nice soft tone"
"My hobby is singing"
"Really" I say in an interested tone, "well I bet your amazing at it"
She smiles and starts to blush,
"Thanks" She says
I smile, and as soon as I was going to ask if she would want to come to my house and check some video games out, I trip over and bumped into this pink pony .
"Ow, watch it dweeb" the pink pony says.
I start to panic
"Sorry, I didn't mean to, I was walking and I tripped and I"
"What ever, now get out of my way" says the pink pony pushing me to the ground.
"Leave him alone Diamond Tiara" says Sweetie.
"Oh Sweetie Belle, did you find yourself a coltfriend, how sweet, I didn't think you would ever get one, I'm surprised" says Diamond Tiara in a horrible tone.
"He's not my coltfriend, I just wanted to get to know him, that's all" says Sweetie.
"Yeah, we're just friends" I say.
"What ever, just because your new here, I'm going to be nice, I'm going to let you be and annoy you later, cya later dweebs" says Diamond Tiara.
Sweetie Belle rolls her eyes and sighs,
"Come on Button, lets go"
"What's with her" I say.
"She's just a bully, she's always being mean to ponies, but she's the worst for ponies who don't have cutie marks like me, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, she always calls us blank flanks" says Sweetie Belle.
"Oh" I say looking at my flank.
"Wait, you don't have your cutie mark yet" says Sweetie Belle.
"Um no I don't have mine" I say.
"I thought me, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were the only ones who didn't have our cutie marks, how did I not notice you didn't have a cutie mark" says Sweetie Belle.
"What about the other ponies who don't have their cutie marks" I say.
"Well, me and my friends were the only ones who didn't have ours at school, the other ponies who don't have their cutie marks don't go to school because there to young" says Sweetie Belle.
"Oh, ok, so you, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and I are the only ones without cutie marks" I say
"Yeah pretty much" says Sweetie Belle.
"Huh..." I say interested.
"Well we're here" says Sweetie Belle.
I look up to see a sign with a cupcake on it.
"So do we go in or just look at the sign" I say.
"We go in silly" says Sweetie with a little giggle.
"Right" I say with a smile.
We walk in and go up to the counter.
"Hi Mr and Mrs Cake" Sweetie Belle and I say at the same time.
I look at her and she looks at me and chuckle a bit.
"Hi Sweetie Belle and Button" says Mr and Mrs Cake.
"So what will it be kids" says Mrs Cake.
"Can I have a chocolate milkshake please" I say
"Can I have vanilla please" says Sweetie.
"Sure thing kids, just take a seat over there and your milkshakes will be done shortly" says Mrs Cake.
"Ok" Sweetie and I say at the same time.
We take our seats and start chatting for a bit.
We talked about how Sweetie and her friends made this club called the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and how they try to get their cutie marks by trying tons of stuff.
"Sounds fun, do you think I could join" I say
Sweetie thinks for a minute,
"Well I'll have to ask the others but I'm sure you'll be able to" she says.
"Cool" I say.
Order up.
I grab my milkshake and get a fantastic idea, I turn my head to sweetie and yell,
"MILKSHAKE RACE 1 2 3 GO,
It seemed that I was winning as sweetie didn't even touched hers and was just staring at me confused.
Then, all of a sudden I get a brain freeze and I fall to the ground screaming.
"Owwwww, Owww, it herts, oh it herts, oh hey a bit" I say.
I grab the bit and get up to see Sweetie Belle playing on my joyboy.
I don't say anything and I just stare.
"You finished" says Sweetie.
"Hehe, ahh yeah" I say.
Sweetie smiles and just rolls her eyes, she looks at the clock and gasp.
"Is that the time, I got to go Button, I need to help Rarity, see you tomorrow?" Asks Sweetie.
"Ok, see you tomorrow" I say nodding.
Sweetie smiles and runs out of the building.
I sigh, 'she's awesome' I say to myself

I open the door to see mum making French toast for dinner.
"Hi Button, how was the first day of school, did you make any friends" says mum.
I smile "Yeah, it was good and yes I did make a friend" I say
"Good job, what's his name" says mum,
"Well, first of, it's a she, and her name is Sweetie Belle" I say
Buttons mum freezes for a second and looks at her son.
"A girl" says Buttons mum.
"Uh, yeah, I say, is that bad" i ask.
"Oh no no no no, that's fine, I'm just glad, you made a friend that's all" says mum.
"Ok, I'm going to go up stairs now and play games, bye mum" I say.
"Ok" says mum
She walks over to the table and sits down, she smiles, "my son has a friend, and it's a girl, is it possible that they will go out.... Nah" says Buttons Mum
"What was that mum" I yell out.
"Oh nothing deer" says mum.
"Ok" I say "call me down if you need anything"
"Ok Button" says mum.
She looks at the French toast she was making and smiles
"My son has finally got a friend.
