Twilight and Starlight both held disapproving looks at Sunset Shimmer for what she said.

“How can you openly accuse Rainbow of this disappearance?” Twilight asked in alarm, glaring at Sunset.

“I do. I recently got wind that after the Battle of the Bands, Rainbow had been meeting with her old gang,” Sunset said pulling out her smartphone and opened her pictures.

She handed the phone to Twilight Sparkle showing her and Starlight a picture of Rainbow Dash in a black hoodie, so cliche, and hand a large roll of money to a girl with white hair and a leather jacket with a black tribal tattoo over her left eye.

“Who’s this?” Twilight asked looking the girl over.

“Her name is Gilda. She’s the leader of the Griffin Gang in Canterlot,” Sunset said taking her phone back. “They are rivals to the Diamond Dogs Gang in these parts, not long after my arrival they agreed that this was neutral territory.”

Sunset shows Twilight a photo of Gilda with a Diamond Dog member and Rainbow with a paper in her hands. It looked like Rainbow Dash was giving them the papers but from the photo it could have easily been the other way around.

“I tailed Rainbow after this meeting here when I realized the two gangs started meeting regularly,” Sunset said taking her phone back. “I later found out that Rainbow was showing them photos of Adagio and her sisters. Not long after Aria was beaten by members of both gangs and Adagio just went missing, about two days ago.”

“And you think Rainbow Dash was involved in this somehow?” Starlight asked Sunset, feeling slightly offended that her friend was being accused of wrongdoing.

“Starlight it maybe Rainbow Dash, but it’s not our Rainbow Dash.” Twilight reminded her kindly.

Starlight ruffled her hair in an irate mannerism. “Gah! I hate this two world thing! So, confusing!”

“Actually it’s not that bad once you are remember there are two worlds instead of one,” Twilight explained. “Just imagine the worlds are the same but with a few differences, like that one book series you like…”

“Sliders?” Starlight asked.

“Yes, that’s the one!” Twilight chirped happily.

“Well, that made things easier.”
“Okay, now that we got that established what are we going to do?” Sunset asked getting irritated by the distractions. “Adagio is still out there and there’s no telling if she might be hurt or not!”

“Sunset please calm down,” Twilight said in a hushed tone trying to calm her friend down before she made a scene. “Why do you want to find Adagio so badly anyways?”

Sunset blushed turning away to couch for a second. Twilight didn’t seem to understand what she was doing but Starlight caught on quickly. Seeing the confused look on Twilight’s face Starlight leaned over and whispered something into her ear. Twilight blushed and got a silly smile on her face and giggled.

She then went over to Sunset and hugged her. Sunset was startled by the sudden contact but hugged her friend back all the same. It made her feel at ease.

“I didn’t know you had a thing for her!” Twilight silently gushed.

“Yeah, well you know… stuff happened.”

Twilight giggled while Starlight just sat rolling her eyes at her friend. Sunset went on to talk about how after the Battle of the Bands Adagio was stumbling down the streets at night in a maid outfit. Apparently one day she was being followed by some strange looking people and got robbed of all her money.

After Sunset intervened she found the former siren beaten and bruised. She recounted then that she invited her to stay the night, but didn’t trust Sunset one bit. So, Sunset took her home and helped her sisters put her to bed. Afterwards Sunset made a habit of meeting Adagio after she was done working, which Adagio didn’t take very well at first. Slowly as the weeks went on the siren opened up to her and after two months of doing this Adagio asked Sunset out on a date, misunderstanding what Sunset was trying to do.

“-yeah, she thought I was hitting on her the whole time,” Sunset said with a bark of laughter. “It was a nice date though. She used what little of her voice she had left to help with our date too.”

“Wait she can still control people's minds?” Twilight asked alarmed by this revelation. “How long has she been doing this?”

Sunset shrugged. “I don’t know, but she almost hurt herself doing it. Like really bad. Her nose and eye started to bleed like she was from some horror movie, possessed.”

Twilight and Starlight cringed at this. Both of them hated horror movies, every time Pinkie and Fluttershy wanted to see one they always had an excuse without outright saying they were really just afraid. It made them feel pathetic.

“After that,” Sunset continued. “I took her home to my place and well, we really did hit it off. We’ve been close ever since.”

Both Twilight and Sunset stared at her waiting for her to finish, sipping their beverages, until Twilight spoke up.

“Well, I for one am glad you made amends with the sirens,” Twilight said.

Sunset nodded and finished her drink. Setting the cup to the side when she had finished and stood by the exit waiting for Starlight and Twilight. “I’ll show you what I’m planning.”

The other two joined her after finishing their drinks and left heading deeper in Canterlot City.

Later that night, in a small house in a Canterlot suburb a creature stirred. That creature was Rainbow Dash.

With the stealth of a well trained ninja, Rainbow Dash about in her home to not disturb her parents and sister. She wearing a simple red hoodie and jean pants with red laced black boots. She opened her front door and tip toed out as quietly as possible, closing and locking the door behind her. Once she did she sipped her keys back in her pocket and made a brisk pace down the street, unaware of the three black covered figures lurking behind her.

Rainbow walked down a dark street when a police patrol car approached. Quick as lightning she ducked under a crate as the police cruiser passed by. With a sigh of relief she slipped from her cover and continued on down the street until she came upon a white Mclaren parked on the side of the road. The driver side door slid upwards and a young girl in a red sport jacket with golden blonde hair climbed out, and leaned on the side of the car frame.

She was a foot taller than Rainbow, she was wearing a black leather jacket with black driving gloves. She had a large pair of cargo pants and tall black boots with a large belt hanging off her hip with a large bag on it.

Rainbow smiled running up to the girl and kissing her, rubbing her hands through the golden blonde streaked hair. Once they separated Rainbow looked into the girl's eyes and gave her a cocky grin. The blonde girl chuckled grabbing Rainbow by the waist and pulling her close.

“You’re late my sweet.”

Rainbow giggled pushing the other girl back. “Shut up, Lightning.”

Lighting walked Rainbow to the other side of the car and opened the door letting Rainbow inside. She lead Rainbow into the car and slid the door shut. Getting back into the driver's seat she sealed her own door. There was an odd clunk noise and Lightning paused turning her head back and forth wondering what she heard. Shrugging it off she pushed the ignition button and made the custom turbocharged V-12 engine roar to life. She quickly shifted the gears and put the pedal to the metal as the Mclaren drove off with great speed down the street disappearing in the distance.

Hiding in an alley the three black clothed figures emerged from hiding. One pulled out a large laptop and opened it up. This brought up a digital map of Canterlot City and on it was a large red blip moving at great speed to an abandoned section of the city.

The other two figures looked over the first one s shoulders and watched as she input a set of coordinates as the blip came to a stop at an old abandoned factory deep in the old industrial district of the city.

“Got it.” She said putting the laptop away and ran to a parked car on the side of the road. The other two followed close and got in the car and drove off to catch up with the Mclaren. The driver was focused on the road while one of the other passengers made a call on a phone and the other remained silent.

Meanwhile Lightning pulled up to the old abandoned factory and parked her car next to several others. Turning off the car she leaned over and kissed Rainbow once more before both of them got out of the car and walked to the entrance to the factory.

It was a large factory that was once used to build industrial support beams. Large conveyor belts ran all throughout the facility alongside several smelting bowls that once held tons of molten liquid iron and steel. Now, they lay dormant and silent save for a muffled screaming deep within the facility. Rainbow was no girly girl, but even she felt a tad unsettled by the factory. Though she wouldn’t admit it, Lightning was too. Both thought the same thing and reached for the others hand instinctively and held tight as they walked past a large smelter heading for a small room at the end of a long hallway at the end of the facility. Where a large girl with white hair and a large tan coat stood by waiting.

The two girls approached her and stopped just a few steps away from the white haired girl. She was very intimidating to look at, but held a soft look in her eyes. Rainbow knew those eyes. Deep down they were merciless to anyone she felt was a threat to her and wouldn’t hesitate to end anything that challenged her.

This girl smiled at Rainbow and Lightning. She swung her hips side to side and rested her hands on them and said in a cocky voice, “Didn’t think you two wimps would show up. You got my money?”

Lighting reached in her pocket and pulled out a large wad of cash rolled up and threw it to the white haired girl.

“Hope you choke on it Gilda.” Lightning said with a sneer, as Rainbow Dash stuck her tongue out at her.

Gilda picked up the cash and counted it. Seemingly satisfied she walked over to the door and opened it allowing Lightning and Rainbow to enter. It was a simple white room that had the clear cent of paint that was just applied in it. In the center was a young woman in a tattered violet dress with long and poofy orange hair wearing tall knee high boots. Rainbow Recognized her immediately and rushed over to help her.

“Adagio! Hey! It’s me Rainbow Dash, are you alright?” Rainbow saw she was gagged and pulled the gag out of her mouth.

“Rainbow it’s a trap!!” Adagio screamed the moment the gag was out.

Nothing could prepare her for what came next. The door behind her slammed shut and locked. Lighting was smashing her hands against the door screaming at Gilda.

“Gilda you jerk! We paid you now let us out!!”

“I don’t think so Lightning,” Gilda’s voice called from the other side of the door. “You see I have some beef with Adagio, and I plan to get even.”

“What are you planning Gilda?!” Rainbow yelled to her, helping Adagio up. “What are you going to do to Adagio and Lightning?”

“Of Dash, I’m sorry you got all mixed up in this. I told Lighting not to get involved with you when she brought me Adagio But she wouldn’t listen.” Gilda said with a chuckle. “But she brought me Adagio and now I can get back for her putting away my crew!!”

Rainbow gasped staring in disbelief at Lighting who suddenly lost her bravado and shied away from Rainbow. Rainbow almost got a pleading look as she reached for Lighting and grabbed her shoulders firmly. Her soft fingers rubbed against the leather jacket making a rubbery sound as she squeezed.

“It-i-it’s not true. Right, Dusty?” Rainbow asked with frustrated tears.

Lighting look away gently pushing the girl away with a sad look on her face.

“It’s true. I was involved, Rainbow.”
