Chapter 15.
Time skip to School show and tell.
Standing behind stage with Red Rose and Blue sky while they’re sitting on Shadow’s back.
“Daddy we are nervous.” Blue Sky spoke.
Crouching down to meet them. “Hmmm it’ll all be all right i’ll be with you two.” I spoke.
“Thanks daddy.” They spoke.
We’re waiting for our turn for our fame and if you're wondering why the friends of Red rose aren’t here? Well let’s just say their turn came early.
We heard the show that had been going on before come to a stop. Noticing the previous pony step of stage. After an applause the announcer spoke “Wow that sure was a spectacular show of magic from Star Shine! Up next Red Rose and Blue Sky showing their Kubrow?”
“Well that's our cue.” I spoke as I went towards the entrance to the stage with Shadow following me with the fillies on his Back.
Coming out on stage us three waved to the crowd as we got an applause.
“Greetings everyone you might be wondering who I am which I’m gonna get out of the way, I’m Rhino Prime you might have heard about me and you might not but anyways I’m the master of Shadow which is the Kubrow and the farther to Red Rose and Blue Sky now that's out of the way let’s give it to Red Rose and Blue Sky!” I spoke.
“Ummm Hi everyone we would like to show you Shadow our Kubrow!” Red Rose spoke.
“A Kubrow is a battle Companion for a Tenno but they also make great cuddle companions too!” Blue sky spoke. The crowd was a little disgusted a pet could be used as a battle companion.
“We would also like to show you what Shadow can do which my daddy will Explain!” Red rose spoke before they got off Shadow.
“Alright one thing first there are different types of Kubrow and mine is a Raksa Kubrow Which is genetically modified to be Loyal and Obedient and having a personal shield generator equipped and come with two abilities which is howl and Protect. First ability howl which is what the ability sounds like, the Kubrow howls terrifying the enemies and the second ability Protect which just regenerates my shield when they drop. With that explained are there any questions?” I spoke.
I saw a lime green hoof rise. “Yes, you there!” I spoke.
A small colt rose and asked. “How old is it?” Before he sat back down.
“Hmm good question, Shadow is a young Kubrow about the age of 21 in our age” I spoke.
I saw another hoof which was a dark shade of grey rise. “Yes you there!” I spoke.
The pony in question rose to her feet and asked “May I pet him?”
“Yeah, how about at the end of the show i’ll be outside with shadow and my kids where you all could come and pet Shadow.” I spoke which brought up chatter between parent and foal.
Time skip
School entrance.
I stood in front of the school watching Red Rose, Blue sky having fun in the playground while Shadow was having the time of his life being cuddled to death.
When I saw a cyan pony with a rainbow mane walking towards me.
Once she was a few feet away I spoke. “Greetings Rainbow what can I do for ya?” I asked.
“Hey Rhino, um nothing much.” She spoke while she looked around trying to avoid eye contact.
“Rainbow I know you have something on your mind now spit it out.” I spoke.
“Er yeah can I ask you a favor?” She asked.
“Sure what you want?” I asked.
“Well it’s more for scootaloo than for me and I would like to get one of those flying thingy I saw you have on your waist when you flew around before.” she spoke.
“Wait you want to give Scootaloo an archwing? Can’t she fly herself?” I asked.
“Well um you see something happened to her wings since her birth which made her wings unable to grow at all.” Rainbow spoke.
This took me by surprize, I sat there for a moment not responding to anything at all until I felt myself shake. “Yo Rhino you there?” I heared Rainbow speak.
“Oh sorry fazed out there for a while, anyways sorry I didn’t know at all” I spoke.
“It’s allright but are you gonna get me an archwing as a gift for Scootaloo?” She asked.
“Yeah sure I will make her one just need some measurements then I can get started on an Itzel type Archwing that’s if she likes to go fast.” I spoke.
“ I’m sure she likes to go fast and alright Scootaloo is here with me i'll go and get her.” She spoke.
A few minutes went by before she came back with Scootaloo. “Here’s Scootaloo.” Rainbow spoke.
“Thanks Rainbow.” I spoke before I bent down to Scootaloo “Hello young one can you please stay still for a moment.” I spoke which she gave a nod to. I started to scan her and soon found the right measurements for her. “Thank you little one” I spoke as I ruffled her mane before I stood up. “There I got everything I need” I spoke.
“Thank you Rhino.” Rainbow Dash spoke.
“No Problem Dash” I spoke.
“Infestation Presence near your location!” Ordis spoke before a terrifying screech came followed by screams. Reacting instantly I ran towards the screams. Running around the corner to the other part of the playground I saw 10 fillies two of them mine being chased by chargers and other infestation units, and boy there were many.
Red Rose and Blue sky saw me and shouted. “Daddy help!”
“Go run! I’ll deal with this!” I spoke before I casted Iron skin and Roar before the Infestation reached me. Bringing out my Dark Split Dark sword I started slashing at them. Using the Tempo Royale stance against the infestation kept them at bay as I slammed the ground every few swings causing them to fall to the ground. But they kept flooding in but I did see the end to their stream coming. Several minutes went by as I swang my sword.
-Pov change: Red Rose-
My sister and I were playing in the playgrounds with our friends before we heard a screech, turning to face the direction we saw horrifying creatures charging at us. We turned screaming and ran in the directions where we knew the grown ups would be and hopefully daddy to. We soon saw our dad come running around the corner, I guess he must have heard our screams. “Daddy!” I shouted. He replied with “go run! I’ll deal with this!” We soon rounded the corner where all the adults where and finally safe. I saw the other foals went straight to their parents scared. But Daddy is out there facing those creatures. I saw Blue Sky must be thinking about daddy also before facing me and asked. “Will Daddy be okay?” Blue Sky spoke. “I hope so but I think he doesn't mind If we peak around the corner.” I replied to Blue Sky. “Okay.” Blue Sky replied. So we went and peaked. What we saw was astonishing. Daddy was fighting and kill...killing these creatures with his creepy sword of his. We kept watching until he had killed them all. Then out of nowhere something huge slammed into him sending him flying. “Daddy!” we screamed which I instantly regretted as the huge creature turned to face us.
-Pov Change: Rhino Prime-
I stood victorious over the corpses of the infestation. But that victory was short lived as I saw a Juggernaught charging right at me which sent me flying for a few meters before i skid to a stop on the pavement. Standing up I saw that the beast was going after the foals. I roared and rhino charged at the beast, slamming into the beast before it could do any harm to the foals, towards the building. Looking to my right I saw Red Rose and Blue Sky and spoke “are you alright?” I spoke. They gave a nod back and that is what all I needed. Entering the new hole I made in the school walls I saw the beast getting up. I ran right at it once close enough I jumped bring out my sword channeling all of my energy into it, landing on the beast’s back I plunged the largest blade of my sword into the beast’s back where the skin breaks in two. Killing the beast immediately as the energy consumed every atom of its living body.
Walking out of the building I saw that the royal guard had finally arrived with Princess Celestia in front of the group of guards. I went over to the Princess and spoke. “Princess”. “Greetings Rhino we were alerted that the school was under attack but I see that you have already taken care of that and may I ask by who?” Celestia asked.
“Princess you really need to find a better way of getting information from one place to another faster and to mobilize the guard. And by whom? An enemy you can’t imagine to fight which is the infestation.” I spoke.
“Ordis get a team down here to sterilise the place.” I spoke to Ordis.
Turning around I shouted. “Red Rose and Blue Sky we’re going home” I spoke.
Turning around and walking past the Princess and the guards the kids and Shadow came running to my side.
