Outskirts of Ponyville
"We finally made it." Zidane said as they walked up a hill looking down at the small town.
"Yep. Nothing fancy about this town at all. Are you coming?" Applejack asked as she started to walk down the hill.
"Nah. I told Cid I would meet up with them around here." Zidane said as he walked away "Bye."
"But Pie." Quina said as he/she looked back and forth but decided to follow Zidane.
On the ship not to far from the hill.
"You leave and not tell me." Sunset said as Zidane got on to the ship.
"Look, you're not my mom. Besides you were busy doing your research and I didn’t want to disturb you." Zidane said as Quina stepped onto the ship.
"Nice to see you Quina, what brings you here." Cid asked.
"Quina wants to see the world or something like that." Zidane said.
“To taste." Quina said.
"Yeah that. Anyway did you find out where we’re going next?" Zidane asked.
"Not really. Just this book." Sunset said as she pulled out a book. "I can't understand this for the life of me."
"Ach. If I may say we should go get some more food if you have a new mouth to feed." Cid said pointing a thumb to Quina.
"I guess. So where is the closest city?"'Zidane asked.
"According to this map it’s Cloudsdale." Cid said as he looked at the map.
"What? The city in the sky? What about that hick town, Ponet?" Sunset said.
"Ponyville, It’s small. It may not have that many shops." Zidane said.
"Fine. Then let's go." Sunset said.
Cloudsdale, a city flying in the sky that was once an outpost to scan for any incoming attacks on Canterlot.
"Hey leave her alone." A young rainbow haired female Gria (a race with small bodies and dragon wings, a tail, and horns) said as she was standing in front of a young pink haired Viera (A race that have leporine features, including long ears and supple limbs) as two male humans stood in front in an alleyway.
“Why. should we Rainbow Crash, she say she's a healer but can't even do the basics" One with brown hair said.
"Ya..."
"Whats going on?"A hooded female questioned as she looked down the alley.
"We’re just talking." The one she interrupted, a boy with blond hair said.
"It looks like you are bullying her. I give you to the count of three to say you're sorry and run." The hooded woman said as she drew a rapier.
"Oh. We're so scared, you wouldn’t hurt a child." the blond boy said.
"Two." The tip of the rapier lit on fire.
The bullies gulped. "We're sorry!!" They yelled as they ran out of the alleyway.
"Um.." The hooded woman said as she turned around.
"Um...Thank you." The Viera said as she hid behind her friend.
"Yeah whatever." She said as she walked away.
"That was cool and all but I could of handled it." The Gria said as she flew next to the woman
"I bet you could have kid." The woman said trying to ignore her.
"Hey Sunset there you are...Whats with the kids?" Zidane asked as he ran up.
"Oh my. I’ve never seen anyone with a monkey tail before." The Viera said as she rushed up.
"Yeah. I am one of a kind. So what happened Sunny?"
"How many times do I have to say it.. Stop calling me that!" Sunset said .
"She helped us chase away some bullies." The Gria said.
"Yeah...You just need to show them who’s boss."
"I beg to differ." They turned around and saw a woman with short brown hair wearing a blue shirt with frills on one side going past her black skirt.
"Yuna!" The girls screamed.
"So what's this I hear about you getting bullied Fluttershy?" Yuna said kneeling down in front of the Virera.
"Um.. You see.." Fluttershy said.
"They started by calling me names and poked fun of how Fluttershy can't heal." The Gria said.
"I know Rainbow Dash, but I heard you broke her friends arm last week." Yuna said making Rainbow grumble. "Thanks for looking out for them."
"Um." Sunset said.
"Well, Quina and Cid brought the food back to the ship. Want to sight see?" Zidane asked.
"We can show you around if you want." Rainbow said.
"That seems like a wonderful idea. And bring them to the school after." Yuna said.
The school house
"Thanks for coming." Yuna said as Sunset and Zidane walked in. "Well let me get some tea started." She said as she walked over to a kettle.
"So you're their teacher then?" Zidane asked as he sat down.
"Yes. Fluttershy is very eager to learn White Magic.. But her form is not that good and her potential..." Yuna said as she let out a sigh
"Not everyone is up to use magic. Look at me." Zidane said pointing to himself.
"Have you tried teaching her Element Magic? I have seen a couple of Viera that are masters of that art." Sunset said as Yuna put cups of tea in front of them.
"I thought so too but there are no Elementalists that teach here, due to them having to live in the forests." Yuna said as she took a sip.
"Can't you ask one to come and see if she can at least use that magic?" Zidane asked.
"I have tried to get in contact with one but they said they can't, due to the pollution causing them ill effects."
"Why not go on a field trip to visit one. Hey we can help." Zidane said getting a death glare from Sunset.
"That seems fine. The only reason we have not had the field trip is due to not many teachers wanting to go."
"Then it’s settled then. Let's go tell the others." Zidane said as he ran out the door.
"Don't you ever slow down?" Sunset asked as she followed passing Jecht.
"Yuna we need to talk." He said as he sat down after giving a glance to Sunset and Zidane .
Canterlot Castle
"Your Highness, you have a letter from Princess Chrysalis." A guard said as he rushed into the throne room.
"Ah. What pray tell does it say?" Celestia asked.
"It says her father and mother have been killed by chancellor Kuja." The guard read getting Auron to raise an eyebrow.
"Sorry your highness, there’s something I need to take care of." Auron said as he walked away.
"Is it what I think is happening?" Celestia asked.
"I forgot your were alive back then. Yes." Auron said as he left the room.
"And this time I am powerless." Celestia whispered right before a great explosion came from the testing ground for new students.
