A guardspony looking to escape the day to day of his vice-filled town is drawn into a mystery that seems to have been pulled right out of a pre-war noir murder mystery novel.
Well written story and scenes again, Gamma Deekay! It's interesting to see Caltrop before he meets BC.
The only nitpicky thing that I see about the story so far is one of the major plot devices being counterfeit caps. I just have a hard time seeing how wasteland ponies would care enough about that kind of thing in the wasteland to want to put a stop to it, as they're almost identical to the genuine caps, so could still be made into things like bottle cap mines and whatnot. Is it more the principle of making the caps for nefarious purposes that Sunsoft is wanting to pursue the good fight with, at least more so than the counterfeit caps themselves?
