2707996 Both statements are technically incorrect.

Raptors and Thunderheads were (most likely) developed by the Ministry of Awesome. Reasons?

Pegasi elite forces operated under the MAw, and developments like pegasi power armor was made by that ministry. The MWT focused primarily on Earth ponies, with unicorns as a close second. It stands to reason that the Ministry that caters to pegasi would develop assault vehicles specially for them.

The Enclave is the postwar collective of the pegasi race, but they lost the ability to really develop new things. They wouldn't be able to get the resources to build 4 Thunderheads and countless Raptors in an irradiated wasteland. They were build by Pre-War Equestrian industry.

Yay an update. Also I wonder if there is anyone in that town or not, good chapter again though. :yay:

That's my reasoning too. Also it's important to note that 'before the War' could be interpenetrated as before the culmination with the bombs. By the way how long did the open conflict last? I'm not talking about the preparations in case it comes to war (preemptive building of weapons, espionage, sabotage), I mean the actual boots on the ground so to speak?

We'll the next chapter is titled 'Necropolis' so...:pinkiehappy:

3265358 Oh, years. The actual fighting started when the Mane 6 were a little bit older, and had fully established their Ministries. It continued until they started to enter older age (greying manes, some wear and tear, etc.).

And the war didn't have much preparation before it started. The Royal Guards were technically the first "soldiers". The actual separate military was created DURING the conflict.:facehoof: Same with all that weapons development. Power armor, AM rifles, and energy weapons all came about in the depths of the war.

Pre-War is a bit of a funny term, because it's used in the context of before the bombs fell, when the actual wording means before the conflict even started. So, technically, it's an incorrectly used term, but everyone does it anyway.:twilightblush:

Well sometimes I'm sad while writing the chapters.

3265358 I know I'm a bit late for this but I believe the conflict lasted somwhere between seventeen and twenty years. That I believe because somewhere in Fo:E or PH it was mentioned that actual fighting started about two years in, Little horn had place about three years after and the assassination attempt on Celestia was five years after that. I'm not exactly sure how long luna ruled after that, it was mentioned in either of them but I assume it was something from eight to ten.

I don't think Mist ever asked about those sapphire enchanted 50 caliber rounds, did he?

But the bigger question is who builds a city around a fear ward? And lives there, if the city came first? Who builds a cave-city, period?

And I'm guessing the cave the hunters found is this same cave? I've been thinking that since you revealed the remnant outpost.

Oh, is this is equestrian occupied zebra territory? Because it seems to be too alive to be the Celestia-One afflicted area. (I suppose it also could explain the pony population a little. I mean how big coukd one ship be? I could just be overthinking the details though.)

Alright, sorry for the very late reply. He asked his sister about the rounds though he didn't get the full story on them.

The ward can be placed after or literally anywhere for that matter. Why build it underground? The answer is simpler than you think.

Yes it is.

You have to think more broadly on the population thing. For example think to the Fallout universe. If it was taking place in China there is no reason that there couldn't be a healthy American/European population still inhabiting it. The ship just explains Mist's particular heritage. I'm thinking that before the war there were plenty of ponies living with zebras.

The only simple answer I can think of is being well out if the line of fire of a megaspell exchange. I might be missing something though. But what was said on the bullet, though? I didn't recall anything aside from the happy reunion of Misty and Amber.

Is this story dead? I realy dont hoop so because it is a good read, waiting for a update isn't that bad but I hope you will continue the story.
