*cracks fingers* So, new chapter, and I'll take the honors of being the first to comment on it.
This chapter had an alright flow, most action oriented. I'll admit while reading it a part me wondered, aside from general cool-factor, why the train hijacking scene as a whole was relevant to the brother's story; but I can ignore that as it did give us some more of a look at the dynamic between Vladimir and his shadowy "benefactor". Really this was more his chapter than the brother's, as we basically get confirmation that he is, in fact, Little Red, and we see how he interacts with his shadow companion (Got to think of a name for... her? It? Shadow Red, for now, shall suffice). So, we understand now that Vladimir isn't all that hot on being an out and out tyrant, and actually has not a lot of stomach for the messier kind of brutality that Shadow Red wants him to revel in. Not that he isn't willing to let her take the wheel when backed into a wall. Now one thing I couldn't quite tell was if, when Shadow Red takes over, if Vladimir's actual physical abilities increase or not, or if she's just that much more of a skilled badass than he is. Unclear.
So, hm, were the rocks just a decoy? I thought at first that perhaps the rocks were there because there were no predators on board the train and it was all a ruse to lure the Coalition troops on board to take them out, but no, looks like the Legion was taken by surprise and there were predators on board. So the rocks must be for something else... though what I can't imagine.
The scene with Neo just closing the door in that Legion solider's face multiple times made me chuckle. Very slapstick and silly, but in a good way.
I'd say more, but, honestly as I said above, not a lot actually happened this chapter beside some action and Vladimir getting his shadow on. It was well paced though and it read pretty smoothly, so I wasn't bored or anything. Now that they've lost their ride seems like the brothers got a short hike ahead of them and then we'll see what happens in Maneton and beyond.

*Claps* Yay! You mentioned that scene with the door!
Anyway, thanks again for the chapter review. To be honest I look forward to each one of your reviews. They really do make me feel like someone is sitting down and taking the time to look at things. I won't say much about the rocks, but they do play an important role. (Despite being rocks.)
As far as names for the shadow figure go, I look at it as a genderless figure. It's always interesting to hear how others see things. Though to answer your question on whether his physical capabilities or not increase is, yes. Yes it does. I see it as a kind of power-up thing. Like when it is in control he has raw power, only side effect is when it leaves it drains a good portion of his life.
I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I'm starting the next one this weekend, and I have loads of free-time so I plan to squeeze a lot of writing in. Thanks once again for the wonderful comment.

You now deserve seven mustaches for that comment.
