So happy to see this update! This is one of my absolute favorite Fallout Equestria stories. I really like the uniqueness of focusing on a zebra-pony character, and giving her a bit of a Rarity vibe. Add that to the culture shock of the Luna cult bumping up against reality and you have a story that I'm always looking forward to seeing more of. Thanks muchly!

I finally caught up with this one! I've fallen way too far behind on the stories I'm following

And only now do I realize that I've never actually posted any comments here. I really should fix that. After all, Sisters is one of my favorite Fallout: Equestria stories! I like the characters, I like the writing, I like the settings, I like the villains. It's a lot of fun, and this last chunk had a lot going on. Lily and Candy's alone-time, Psyker, and easily one of the best portrayal of the Unity alicorns I've seen. Heck, even all the questions I've got about the ghouls (Made even more curious with google translate on that snippet of Swahili ). There's a lot going on, and it really makes me want to see more!

I've written a little bit here and there before, but this story is honestly the first one that I liked well enough to publish. So as of right now, Sisters is the only story I've made public. I've had a lot of ideas for other stories, though, and even written out some rough drafts of short stories set in the FoE world as well. If I can find some time then I might try to touch those up and publish them too.

Glad to hear you like it! I'm working pretty hard on the next chapter right now, so hopefully you won't be waiting long! Next chapter is gonna be a little interesting, what with Candy's "condition" and all, but I'm looking forward to stretching my creative muscles and describing things a little differently than normal. Should be fun!

Yeah, her condition should be an interesting challenge. Always fun to try something new! And it's certainly the kind of long-term consequence you don't often see ( ) in stories very often.

Also, it probably helped that I'd used the very same code (Well, one of the other orderings of it) in my own story! I just had to slip in some references. It's a great show, and an excellent example of planting little details that become hugely important later on.

So I am looking over my read later list and are reading prologues and in general pruning out, and looking over the chapters and seeing their length... Ohh buy!

58,512 words is quite the size for a single chapter in a story, I mean Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone was 76,944 words long. That is book sized chapters. With a "normal" reading speed of 130 words per minute would it take me 450 minutes, or 7.5 hours. That is a fuckton of reading. More power for you for taking the time to write all of this, but I am properly not the first person, nor the last, to nope the fuck away for this clusterbomb of words.

Read it up until the part where Somber shit himself with the tank scene ripped out of GiTS. I do not mind long stories, I mind long chapters. I have like a few hours a day I can read, I do not want to spend them on a half chapter, then get pulled away from the stories for days, only to try finding the same point in a chapter. Its easier to do with a physical book, but still.

Geezus, can't belive the 2018 chapter drops were sitting in my to-read for so long after I read the first couple chapters and getting caught up with it. I am a slow reader but I enjoy to the fullest every part of what I read - and Sisters is certainly top notch. I rarely find myself not questioning the authors choices for even a secound and Arowid made it a masterpiece of serious proportions, balancing the pace and meaning of everything presented.

Only shame is Arowid not beeing online scince July. Pitty. His readers are still here.

Well, my last comment here was from 2016. ^^

I don't know if/when the next chapter is going to release, but I'm still checking and hoping.
This story is probably my favorite FoE tale, and it's the one that decided me to create my FoE paper RPG, directly ripping several ideas from here.

So in this early 2022 I'm sending a bit of love over here.
