When Sunset Shimmer finds out her best friend Fluttershy hasn't been asked out to the school dance, the young girl takes it upon herself to change that, with an anonymous letter. Little does she know, how it'll change everything.

Sunset Shimmer invites Fluttershy over to her place in order to study together for their test tomorrow. Everything is going great, until Sunset catches Fluttershy off guard with a random question about crushes.

Was this just a study date? Or did Sunset have something more... personal in mind?

This story is a sequel to Epiphany

Twilight has come back to the human world to visit Sunset Shimmer after having been away for a few weeks attending to things in Equestria. However, it turns out that she is greeted by a very tired, worn out, and obviously sick Sunset Shimmer. Twilight mentions having found a book at the Canterlot High library and Sunset asks Twilight to read to her.

A cryptic note brings Sunset Shimmer face to face with Adagio Dazzle, but she finds herself woefully unprepared for what her former foe has to say...
