When Rarity returns from a welcome party for Twilight, she finds a mare sleeping on the street. She shows what means to be the bearer of the Element of Generosity, allowing the poor mare to stay with her. In that time, Rarity will discover two things from the mare.

This story takes place immediately after my first story Love me... I mean, if that's ok with you. It's not a direct sequel. Don't like F/F, don't read. But if you are like "Don't tell me what to do!" Then go ahead.

Author's Note: I wanted to do something different with the Octavia/Vinyl Scratch pairing. In all the stories I've read, Tavi was the reserved, more quiet one while Vinyl was the party girl. But what if it were the other way around? What if Vinyl was the more reserved one and Tavi the wild girl? This is my attempt to expand on that idea.

Sometimes, when you've lost so much, when everything you do seems to come out wrong, and when you don't feel like anything but a failure, it can seem like there is no other option but to give up.

But when one pony feels so lost, so inconsolable, so forlorn, that she makes a life-changing decision that almost leaves her shattered forever, it is up to her friends to bring her back.

When you lose something that you can't replace, when you love someone but it goes to waste, and when the tears come streaming down your face, is there anyone who you can turn to...

Hopes. Dreams. Aspirations. They're what everyone survives, and even thrives, on. What happens, then, when hopes and dreams are dashed? When something so monumentally destructive and life-changing occurs, and dreams, hopes, even ponies' lives are thrown into turmoil, where can solace be found? Heartbroken after being rejected yet again, Pinkie resigns herself to a life of loneliness.

However, love has a way of sneaking up on you, and a chance meeting leads to Pinkie finding a pony who’s just perfect for her. A pony who may just be a little too perfect for her...

With her newly blossoming love life causing friction between her and her friends, will Pinkie really find happiness with her special somepony?
