King Sombra was killed by the Crystal Heart, shattered into pieces. But while pieces have a habit of coming together, nopony expected the dark king to come back like this. He's dark, he's powerful, and he's kind of a dick. This is the story of Equestria's meaniest of meany neighbors.

Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy travel to the frozen north of Equestria and there, they encounter King Sombra. Armed with new abilities, they proceed to do battle with him. However, even with their new powers, they still have trouble with engaging him directly, with the kind of power he possesses. Rainbow Dash, being the Element of Loyalty, fights stronger than all the others and goes all out to protect her friends. However, even this is not enough to defeat King Sombra, and he eventually pins Rainbow Dash down and kills her. All seems lost, but then suddenly, Rainbow Dash stands up once more.

Note: This is actually a part of another fic that I was writing, but I have since scrapped it. This scene is what inspired me to write it in the first place. I like this part so much that I decided to make it a small, independent story. Enjoy.

In unknown circumstances, Ichigo's inner Hollow (in its Vasto Lorde form) has found it's way to Equestria (thankfully, with sentience). Couple this with the fact he's got some memory loss, and Equestria could be in some serious strife. As if he wasn't dangerous enough...

There was a question... and Spike wanted the answer. The curiosity of it was gnawing at his little dragon brain like gerbils in a vat of candy corn. In desperation, he turns to Cadence for help, and she's more than happy to assist.

After all, it's just a simple question. What's the worst that could happen?

Not long after the events of the Crystal Empire, Fluttershy discovers the remains of King Sombra's horn in a field while out on a picnic. She accidently releases the tyrant, only to find that he's weak and hurt. And so, unknown to her friends, the mare begins caring for the broken tyrant in hopes that she could maybe reform him...

Sombra works at a cafe in Ponyville. But with such a meager income, the fallen king is finding it difficult recovering even a semblance of the grandeur lifestyle he led prior to his banishment and usurpation. Then, when all seems hopeless, Sombra hatches a daring plan that might get him everything he desires and more, using Equestria's two most abundant resources: love and friendship.

He also gets a stalker.
