A mysterious magic surge has been discovered just off the coast of Creui. Praetor Rainbow Dash is apart of the contingent sent to investigate, only to be caught in it.

At the same time, Luster Dawn has returned to Canterlot for her first Grand Galloping Gala since heading to Ponyville. While there, she demonstrates a spell that she found in the archive of the Princesses old castle.

Said spell may create a situation that neither is properly prepared for, nor even want. However, it may just be what they need...

A kindler is a different breed of changeling. Part of The Scarlet Hive, there is one of their kind found in every hive across the world, and in each they monitor the resources to sustain the population and judge the effectiveness of a Queen's rule.

The Badlands Hive in Equestria is slowly starving itself to death, and her Kindler voices their concerns when brought before The Queen...

Flurry Heart wants to know what happened to the Crystal Empire's previous rulers. Cadance answers with as little detail as possible, and unintentionally teaches her daughter about a tradition she wasn't aware of.

Entry for the Cadance is a Terrible Mom contest, and 1st place winner! Admittedly an idea I've had in my head for a while, thanks for the excuse to write it!

The Main 6 live their Immortal lives, doing all they can to make their Dragon friends last few years as happy as they can.

Ponyville Retirement Village is being evacuated to a newly constructed shelter underneath Town Hall. It only makes sense; with this new villain 'Tirek' on the rampage, it's only a matter of time before he's drawn to Ponyville, just like every other monster, natural disaster, or hapless club of cutie-mark seeking agents of chaos.

What could possibly go wrong during the evacuation?

Today was a shaping up to be a bad day, Apple Bloom had been running for her life in the Everfree forest. Now she didn't even know if she was even in the same forest anymore. She had never before seen trees so tall, and never before had she met something so strange.

Something ancient.
Something overflowing with old and powerful magic.
Something green.

When I woke up this morning, I was expecting to curse at the sun for ruining my rest. Instead, the sun is cursing back at me for taking its place.
