It's not easy being a human in Ponyville, but there's one pink pony who makes it all worthwhile.

A story of prejudice, suspicion, and gossip,
and a simple love that grows in spite of it all.

Anon and his daughter had finally started to settle into their new life amoungst ponies, with Anon now having a steady source of income and his child excelling in school. With the essentials assured, however, Anon started to search for more. After all, life doesn't have to just be the two of them, and he's always been open minded.

Problem is, ponies don't seem to share this trait, and Anon found himself rejected over and over. While he can get dates, no mare ever wants to stick around once they find out he is a single father, apparently caring more about his daughter than the fact that he's an alien.

Ready to give up, Anon is surprised when his daughter makes a very strange friend, and he himself begins to become intrigued with this sweater-wearing mare. Moondancer, for her part, is just trying not to make a fool of herself in front of this strange stallion while his cute-as-a-button daughter does everything possible to make her fall in love with the pair, intentionally or not.

Few weather conditions are quite so perilous as a raging snowstorm and even Rainbow Dash herself must admit defeat in the face of its might. Taking refuge with you in your home, the evening is spent sharing drinks and talking about some of the world's most important matters.

A very early piece of writing from the AiE threads (they might still have been Rainbro, at the time). I sat down one winter evening and wrote this with no real purpose for it save to elicit some warm feelings.
As with all of them, it's second person with you as Anon, a human.

I'm not terribly proud of this, given its age and quality but it's something to get the ball rolling here.

Rainbow Dash wants to get better at writing, so she tries her hand at prompt writing.

Just a short one-shot greentext I wrote a few days ago after seeing an interesting writing prompt. Decided to touch it up and turn it into prose form so I could post it here.

Everyone hated Adagio... Well, most guys did. There was this one kid named Clef Rest, seemingly both a good singer and a brave guy. People don't really know him that much, but he'll be notorious throughout Canterlot High for defending such a villain like Adagio.
