This story is a sequel to "Teach Me Goodness"

Starlight Glimmer is looking forward to spending Hearth's Warming with Trixie, but their plans change when they encounter Cheerilee, alone and dejected on her first holiday in Fillydelphia. Unable to abandon somepony in need, Starlight invites her to spend the day with them.

It doesn't quite go as planned, but at least her heart's in the right place. And who knows? Maybe a little Hearth's Warming drama is exactly the gift that Cheerilee needs.

Starlight shares the Our Town gospel with a disinterested Maud, only to get pushy when things don't go her way.

My own attempt at answering a question that Maud's and Starlight's first meeting raised: Why in blue blazes didn't Starlight try to recruit Maud to Our Town?

...Which is a thought that I, apparently, am not the first one to have had. Heh.

Twilight receives an urgent message from Sunset Shimmer, a vague cry for help against an unnamed threat. She races to the rescue without question or hesitation, and arrives to find a floating eyeball from beyond the bounds of corporeal reality taking up residence in her kitchen. Is it evil? Malicious? A threat to life as we know it?

...Maybe? It's creepy as heck, either way, and it's wreaking havoc on Sunset's social life, so it's gotta go.
