Based on H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds, particularly drawing on the 2013 film adaptation; however, it is not a straight adaptation of either. Takes place after Chapter 4 of Make your Mark, but was planned and written before Chapters 5 and 6 aired, and as a result takes neither into account.

In the midst of the brutal conflict between the German Wehrmacht and the Soviet Union during World War II, two soldiers, Karl and Friedrich, found themselves inexplicably transported to a realm unlike anything they had ever encountered. Instead of the war-torn landscapes of Europe, they emerged in the enchanting world of Equestria. They also happen to bring some new wunderwaffen.

What will they do here? What actions are they willing to commit. Will they go back to their own world or be stuck in Equestria? This is what happens when two German Soldiers from the eastern front finds themselves in Equestria. At least they are not fanatics.

No one was prepared for the second Chernobyl disaster.

The first one was already bad enough, scaring and poisoning the land with no possibility of future habitation. The second one was infinitely worse. In an instant, the ancient Ukrainian forests and decaying Soviet apartment blocks were made into something wholly other. Shady Fortune is an ambitious stallion. The old manor outside of town is an ancient eyesore. Where most ponies would see a tear-down job long-gone undone, Shady instead sees potential and beauty in the decrepit old house.

But he's not the only thing living in Buckwheat Manor, and Shady will soon learn that not all spirits remain at rest.

Author's note : I want to let you guys know that this story suffers stagnation and decline, each new page takes longer to upload, this is because both the Writer (Me) and the Editor (Flowbux) have a lot of real life matters such as School and college that keeps both of us busy and having difficulty in finding a free time to write the story. Except for my second editor! (Escalator).

BUT, this doesn't mean this story will be cancelled, I made a promise to finish this story and give it the ending it deserves!
