Flurry Heart is five months old, and it's Shining Armor's first Mother's Day since becoming a father. Now a parent himself, he finally has perspective on what his mother felt toward him. Button Mash hoped to catch up on his gaming, but game time was interrupted by a filly's cry. Curious, he went to see who the crying filly was. He was surprised to see that it was his fellow classmate, Sweetie Belle. In hopes to help her feel better, he presented her with a flower.

Twilight was bored, alone and with nothing to do. One particular alicorn's carelessness in the handling of forbidden books was about to change that.
Most ponies would have probably discouraged her from playing with magic she didn't understand, but she wouldn't have listened to them either way. She had to admit though, maybe starting with the most complicated summoning ritual she could find hadn't been her best idea.
The good news was there weren't many left to complain.

Starlight Glimmer is feeling worried about one thing: she remembers when she failed at making Chrysalis, the Changeling Queen, join her and the others. With that, every changeling was reformed but her, who got her chance to escape.

It's been so long since that happened. But Starlight is not going to give up.

And she will fix that issue with a scroll she used some time ago...
