-Equestria Girls AU, shortly after "Friendship Games"- Twilight Sparkle (AKA Sci-Twi) has just transferred to Canterlot High School, and she tries her best to fit in. Luckily for her, Flash Sentry is willing to help her out and be her friend. But as stronger feelings start to develop between the two of them, an all too familiar magical threat arrises.

Princess Twilight meets a young filly in a wheelchair on the night of her crowning ceremony. The filly opened up to her and she mentioned was she's her most favourite princess. However she due to her disability she feels left out and wished she is like the other foals.

Twilight decides she wants to help the filly.

Loosely based on a comic by anonymous author I found. The link is at the end of the story because its a huge spoiler.

This story is a sequel to The Heart of Christmas

Flash, Twilight, and their friends volunteer to look after a group of foster children on a trip to Camp Everfree. Although Flash is happy to have to opportunity to give these kids the best week of their lives, he can't help but feel worried about a certain green-haired boy who shares a past with his girlfriend. What does the week have in store for our heroes, and will Flash survive the week, or will his insecurities finally break him?

Flash would do anything for his friends. And when he sees Twilight in danger, he's ready to do anything in his power to keep her from harm. But things get out of hand, in the worse way possible.

This story takes place during the movie "Equestria Girls: Friendship Games". Alternate universe.

BEFORE READING:

- In this universe, the incident in which Spike gained the ability to talk never occurred. Therefore, he doesn’t speak here. He is, however, more intelligent than an average pet. Basically, the Spike we all know, minus the talking.

- The paragraphs written in all italics are flashbacks, and all of them happened during the duration of the Friendship Games. They occur in inverse chronological order.

- Please go easy on me, I’m not an excellent writer and that I haven’t done this in a while, but I wanted to share this story in written form, because a comic would’ve taken too long.

Flash Sentry is invited to a party he didn’t plan to be a part of, abandoned by the squadmate who roped him into coming to the dance club in the first place. The night was turning out to be like the last few times he was invited into a ‘guy’s night’, him sulking at a table and drinking alone.

The night took an unexpected turn the moment his gaze met hers…
