Fluttershy gets caught in a storm and ends up on Earth. She is taken in by a family in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she learns how to live with humans and also learns to drive. Later, a millionaire/inventor approaches her and says that he can return her to Equestria with his experiment - an alternate universe portal. However, she must perform one task: drive his 1200whp Toyota Supra from a garage in Albuquerque, New Mexico to his mansion in Malibu, California. Sounds pretty easy. Or is it?

2019 AUTHOR'S NOTE: I edited this story to remove some unnecessary details. There's a lot of forced emotion in this story, which is a reflection of some of my own emotional issues I went through as a teenager when writing this story, as well as many videos and news articles I was exposed to during my random surfings of the wild wild Internet. I can happily say I'm better now as a person, and as a writer too. However, I won't try to edit out those emotional or "crazy unexpected" moments. I want readers to acknowledge that I'm not perfect and that my style and choices in writing changes and improves over time. To be on the safe side, I'm still keeping it T-rated.

As an agent of the Jedi Council, Revan Vao, distant descendant of Republic Hero Mission Vao, has seen some of the worst examples of sapient behavior that the Republic can offer, when a freak occurrence forces her to crash on Equestria, she is stuck with no way home. Now she just has to adapt to a land based upon Harmony and Friendship and filled with talking ponies.

When a space pilot who's only ever awake from cryo-sleep to perform maintenance and mine resources crashes on an unknown planet, what's he to do? Do what he does best, mine, grind and weld! Then when reports that the planet's he's landed on is not only inhabited by a race of intelligent ponies but is in the last throes of it's life and is threatening to destabilize, everything becomes a race against the clock in order to not only save himself but maybe even the very species he's found himself surrounded by.

The land that laid beyond the Mirror was barbaric beyond all her worst expectations. Ape-like beings strode through this world, arrogant, violent, vicious beyond anything in Sunset's experience. Slavers, savages, brutes, carnivores.

They put her in chains like cattle, and told her she was livestock. Then the brutes tried to give her as a gift to those whom even brutes feared, to the eastern savages. To a people who said there were only two things in this world: those that ride, and those that are ridden.

And so if she has any hope of ever proving herself worthy of being a person again, Sunset Shimmer would have to show that she could be one who rides - that she is...

During the interception of a category III Kaiju, Western Belle and Vertigo Delta fall into Equestria. How will the ponies handle the situation? Or even better, how will the Jaegers and their pilots return home? And they aren't the only ones who fell through the portal. And they aren't the last by any means either...

A/N: This fic revolves more around fighting. If you do not want a lot of Jaegers slugging it out with Kaiju, then I highly suggest you look elsewhere......However, the ponies will still play a very important roll.

War. Noun. (1) : a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

"Soldiers are always preparing to fight the previous war" is a saying that is common amongst those of military profession. Equestria has not seen a war on her own soil in several hundred years. As such, would she be prepared for when such a thing happens? Of course not.

Battling the griffons and the minotaurs has been a challenge due to lack of experience. Fortunately, her armies adapted and started to hold her own. That was, until Tirek returned and aided in the fight to defeat Equestria. To keep his friends safe, Discord successfully defeated Tirek and sealed him away. The cost of fighting Tirek? Dying. Knowing that he would die, Discord summoned several creatures to protect his friends. These creatures, never seen before in Equestria, are very familiar with the concept of war.

This world has experienced their second industrial revolution and Equestria is at war, a World War, the first this world has seen. Equestria and her citizens have a lot to learn if they want to see the end of this conflict with their culture and way of life preserved.
