Life for Sunset Shimmer took a turn for the worse when Anon-a-Miss single handedly sowed the seeds of distrust amongst her friends and the entire school, but things got worse when the identity of Anon-a-Miss is finally revealed. Unable to forget how those she thought were her friends and family were quick to assume she had relapsed to her old ways of being a bully, Sunset turns her back on them as they once did to her and is prepared to live a life of shutting out friendship entirely. That is until she happens upon a kind stranger who not only could be the friendly ear to listen to her problems, but even teach her things about friendship that even the Princess of Friendship herself could never teach.

Twilight Sparkle's life is about to become much more complicated. Days away from the culmination of the path she's been walking since she got her cutie mark, she's beginning to wonder what that may mean for her and her friends.

As they all try to enjoy what may be the last day they can all simply hang out together for a long time, a group of strange creatures appears out of nowhere after a magical mishap, further complicating her life. However, when the gravest threat she's ever faced rears its ugly head, Twilight learns that sometimes the only thing more useful than friends... is a party.

Twilight thought that being around kids his own age would be good for Spike, and for a time this was true. But one day, after having been called in, she finds that he's had a rather rough encounter with some of them, and after talking to her young friend, she discovers why.

The Humane seven come over to Equestria with Sunset Shimmer to celebrate the defeat of the terrible trio. While having a fun time, the human Rainbow Dash overhears one strange stallion’s suggestion for what to do with the petrified villains. Needless to say, she’s pretty pissed.

This story was going to be my entry in the 179th Writeoff contest, "I've Waited so Long for This...." But that was a minific contest, and I quickly realized this was gonna end up being way too long.

So I thought I'd enter it in the Original Pairings group's Speed Writing contest since I don't find many stories where Ocellus meets Pony Joe...or Donut Joe or Joe the Donut Pony or whatever name he goes by these days. But when Trixie shoehorned her way in to such a large extent, I abandoned that idea as well.

Here it is now, though, but not on my Baal Bunny account where WriteOff-related stories go as a rule. Because this is all about breaking the rules!

When the Elements of Harmony defeated Discord, they did their job too well, and completely undid all of the things Discord directly did...

... Like send a subcontinent from earth into a pocket dimension so he could focus properly on his toys. And now Equestria has appeared on Earth.

Yet, neither side was completely ignorant of the other. On Earth, there was the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and in Equestria there was the ever popular movie serial "The Dark World: Technology is Courage" which was a favorite of colts everywhere as well as the "Pumans".

And now both sides learn through an event that the other is real. Come join us as we watch as both sides learn to work and live together. And as they find out that events on their respective fiction was not as nice as it seemed as we widen the lenses of the view points...

When I was younger, Luna, and later Nightmare, told me that there were things that lurked in the darkness, within the spaces created by shadows that even they would be wary of facing at their full power. And that they would be terrified to fight then with so much of their magic locked away by the seal that the Elements of Harmony had placed upon them centuries ago. Old things... Powerful things... But we took comfort in that such things existed only in Equestria. But, as we learned on that night so close to Hallowe'en when I was ten, we were wrong...
