This story is a sequel to Horizons

The end is finally here. Thanos is hunting for the Infinity Stones and is slaughtering anyone and anything that gets in his way. Our heroes will pour blood, sweat, and tears into preventing Thanos from snapping his fingers. Can Thanos be stopped? Or will half of all life be decimated? Sunny Starscout was ventured far and wide and accomplished her dream of uniting the three tribes, bestowing a new era for Equestria.

But her hunger for adventure was far from complete. Just a few days after the ending of their journey, she huddled her friends and supplies to travel to the far west to uncover ancient ruins that were once a critical location to Equestria's lost history.

If her father's research was correct, the town's name was Ponyville.

As a timeless immortal being, I never understood death and loss. I was willing to make friends and play nice, I even fell in love. But then one day I lost the pony I loved most, and sought to escape my grief. It went fine for a time, until somepony restored magic to Equestria.

Hitch was having a pretty normal day, until a strange creature appeared on the road and transformed him into a mare. He kept going on about somepony named Fluttershy, before vanishing and imploding a few buildings. Hitch misses the days before he was a national hero in constant peril.

While picking up the pieces of her shattered home, Sunny has an unexpected visitor: an old, old friend that she never knew she had...
